The girls are over the moon its a sister. they really did not want a brother. And the smiles on there face's is what made it all okay :)
When we unwrapped it, it was a white blanket and DH was sooo confused untill i suggested he looked inside it, then my eldest saw and started squaking "ITS PINK!ITS PINK!' they are so happy.
And crongratulations to who I forgot to say congrats too, (cant hit the back button to remember your username now)Its such good news all the babies are healthy.

Congratulations WAG and Elements!! Loving both your attitudes.... I forget now who said this but a while back someone said that its really the sole and character of our children that we fall in love with, not whats between their legs. Its really stuck with me, as its just so true. The importance of their gender becomes less and less as they get older and they become part of your family - you couldnt imagine life any other way!!

No i didnt sway, i read up alot on it when we decided to TTC no.3 but we wernt actively trying when this little suprise decided now was the time. It would have been nice to have a go at swaying but i guess what will be will be :) and i'm SO excited to find out what we are having, the 3rd of may we find out so only 3 weeks and 3 days (not that i'm counting :rofl:)

DIVA I'm painting the nursery a light gray and I'm doing the whole thing gray and white with some light green highlights.

I'm starting on the room today, well I already cut in along the ceiling with the paint yesterday, so today, as soon as my youngest goes down for a nap, I should get it all painted. DH wants me to do what ever I want for the nursery because he thinks it will help cheer me up....I think he is right. We have never had a proper nursery, so I'm excited to create whatever I want!! And after 3 little ones, this little guy is getting a brand new crib because after going through 3 little boys, our old crib is HAMMERED!!

Thank youThorz! We will be getting a new crib too and this is also the first time I will be actually decorating the nusery as well! Exciting times for sure and I think it will be a great way to get excited about the baby! Im so ready to dig in..having to work is such an inconvenience! LOL And I have a few things left to finish in my girls new shared room (cant wait to share photos!) so DH is insisting I finish that before stepping foot in the nursery! Ya ya ya.. :)

So far the past 5 weeks have been going so so slow. I really want to book a private gender scan but we have one booked for 26 weeks and hubby thinks it will be a waste of money for a few weeks wait.
Southern butterfly you pic is so cute, you've really made me think twice about wanting a girl so much as your 3 boys look so sweet together :)

I guess gray is popular these days. I am planning on that as well with turquoise and/or orange accents. Had it been a girl, I had my heart set on light gray with coral curtains and accents. Orange might be close enough. ;)
I just took my 19 week bump photo. I feel so huge this time around! And apparently that mirror needs cleaning.

I don't have any recent professional photos of the boys (we were supposed to get some at the end of March but a snow storm cancelled those plans and the photographer, a friend, was only in town for the weekend...). But I took this one with my phone on Easter. My poor DS1 has been missing a front tooth since he was barely two years old. He crashed into a wall and lost it...one day before I went into labor with DS2! Aaaahh boys...

I don't get to do a nursery... We don't have a room for him at the moment... But I was thinking of painting the wall and getting a border or some cure decals for the wall his crib is on... I already have crib set that ezra barley used thanks to co sleeping... But paint wise I was also thinking of grey with an accent colour...
So I asked the boys to help me think of a name for their new baby brother, these are the suggestion I got: Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, Clark Kent, Dr Bruce Banner and OF COURSE BRUCE WAYNE! I guess that's what I get for asking (in case you girl moms don't know those are the true names of: Captain America, Iron Man, Super Man, The Hulk, and Batman)! They are set on Bruce now because its Batman and Hulk Smash in one!! Lol having little boys is so much fun!

DLTAG, private scans are so expensive, so I understand the hesitation! The only reason I did one is because I wanted DH to come with me, and he can't make it during the work week, so we went to a private place on a Saturday.

I need all of you moms of three kiddos to tell me what to expect from the transition from two to three kids. I think DH is shaking in his boots and I am in denial. :-P
Age probably makes a difference too. When this new one arrives, DS1 will be a few months shy of 5 and DS2 will be 2.5.
divakotka your boys will be the same age as my 2 when this little one arrives. I was worried about DS1 when DS2 was born as he was so good with his little brother but this time DS2 is the jealous type and is quite clingy so i dont think he will take to well, only time will tell though.
Thorz you boys are so so cute, these pics really are making me think twice about wanting a girl, theres just something about 3 boys that looks so cute. I also asked DS1 what should we call the baby and he really wants us to call him/her chocolate bar. Boys eh :D
I'd love to decorate the nursery but we live in a rented house and arnt allowed to do any painting or D.I.Y but we are getting a new coat, curtains and going to put some wall stickers up so that should make it look like a new room and if we have a girl i think i go a little pink mad.

DLTAG they do free scans with new Harmony test in London Fetal Medicine Centre, if you would be willing to travel that far. Its a free trial of the test, which is an equivalent to Maternit21. It put my mind at rest and also gave us an idea of gender already at 12wks.
Thorz Clarke Kent cause he's gonna be your superman ;-) ds1 wants to call her Lucas cause that's his friends name! Btw no not different in uk is a boys name!
Oh you all have such smalls bumps and advanced nursery plans I still can't plan on whole tempting fate ;-s

Thorz, I love tub pics, they are always candid and cute. I joke with my mom that it's hard for me to find "appropriate" tub pics to share because I've got so many willies to hide. Someone's parts are always hanging out under the bubbles somewhere lol.
I'm jealous of all the cute nurseries you ladies are doing. This baby will move into DS3's room (which is still set up as a nursery) once he starts sleeping through the night. I'll probably buy a few little decorations that are special for his side of the room but there isn't a whole lot else to be done. If we end up moving before baby arrives then I'll get to have fun decorating all over though!

I really love this group even though I don't post much. I'm part of another group on Facebook and sometimes the gender stuff really bothers me. Y'all are more caring and much more thoughtful about what you say. I just got off the phone with my mom and I'm feeling kind of down. She is very good at predicting gender and she guessed boy for me. I didn't ask for her prediction either, lol. We were just talking about when I would find out and she said she really feels like it's another little boy for me. I've been having a strong boy vibe lately too. I feel like there's slim to zero chance of a girl. I know I will be okay with another prince.. It's just hard right now facing that possibility.

Shining Star, how long til you find out? I almost thi the waiting is the hardest bit, because you're constantly bouncing back and forth from hope to resignation. you know it will be fine inthlong run, but that doesn't mean the short run isn't uncomfortable.
I got a nasty comment at the supermarket yesterday that got me down for a bit, and started me thinking about how I will handle the three boys comments. I came across this page I Have Three Boys And I Am Proud Of That. I Get Told Alot That People Feel Sorry For Me. Has It... which has such a lot of lovely comments. If you have an idle moment it might be worth a read.
I'm not sure when I will find out. I'm hoping they will schedule the u/s at my next appointment. With DS2 I paid to get an elective ultrasound as early as I could. Sometimes I'm tempted to do that but I think I'll just wait. I have a love/hate relationship with not knowing.
That's a great page you found. I bookmarked it. :) I do definitely see the positives in having boy #3. Even my mil, who desperately wants me to have a girl, was talking about how it would be nice for my youngest son to have a brother closer in age.

Honeychild, I think the main problem with three (or more) of the same is that if you defend your family you sound like you're gender bashing, which isn't really the intention of most of us. I think mums of boys get it harder because boys are perceived as more work which I don't think is true at all.
I love everyone's pics! I've very few of the three of them together which sort of emphasises why I wanted a fourth - there's loads of the big girls together and then separate ones of DD3.
As far as going from 2 to 3; it's had its moments but overall it's been a lot easier than 1 to 2 although DD2 was at kindy (and is now at school) when DD3 was born which made it easier.
All the bump pics show everyone looking tiny! I'll post a "proper" bump pic later.
