All well and baby is healthy which I am so grateful for.
Although we said we didn't want to know the gender, I'm pretty sure I saw boys bits when she measured the femur.... I said " oh I think I just saw something" and she replied "really, I haven't seen anything so far" .... I'm a bit confused and trying not to think too much but I feel quite down as I can't really mistaken a willy and balls ....I keep looking at scan pictures on the Internet ....

Do you have pics? I thought i saw boy bits but its a girl
Congrats on healthy baby!

I wish this would be the same for me Sweetdreams. I haven't got any potty shots. Just head and torso. Very cute but wouldn't show any clues...I'm torturing myself now but also convincing myself its another little fella....did you 'see' boys bits at the 12 or 20 week scan? I wish I hadn't had a scan. ..another 20 weeks to wait until we'll know for sure ...

La vie I thought your 13 week scan looked really girly from the skull. Hoping you were mistaken! I have two friends who thought they saw boy bits at 20 week scan both had girls!
Its soooo hard when we want something so bad not too obsess!

Don't feel too down Lavie! Sometimes things really do look distorted and if the tech said she hadn't seen anything, maybe it was a cord or just the way things were appearing at that particular moment. When I had my scan at 16 weeks with my daughter, there were several shots that I thought looked boyish. I even said "Oh, it's a boy." And the tech was like "Nooooo...give me a sec" and then zoomed in on the girly bits. I was really surprised and even when I watch the video of it, I still have a couple shots that I think look boyish and she is 18 months now (and obviously there is no question she is a girl). Glad everything looked healthy and well :)
I am getting excited to see our little baby again in about two weeks. I feel him/her moving around a lot in there now, which is reassuring. But I want to see the baby again. I am kinda hoping the tech will be nice and try for a 4D shot. We have always gotten 4D sonograms later in pregnancy, so hopefully if I tell her we will be back for one in December or January, she will let me peek real quick this time. :) I am curious to see who baby looks like in utero. We totally could tell my daughter had my younger sons cheeks and mouth in the womb. And sure enough, she absolutely does. So I think it's neat.
I know so many folks are still early on here, the three month span makes that happen. But anyone have guesses for when baby will come and how big baby will be? I always love to guess for myself and have been within a day for Botha DS2 and DD. And I enjoy doing polls for friends and family, so we can see who is closest in their guesses :)

Thank you ladies. My husband says he's not seen anything and that it could have been the cord ...I should stop obsessing and just be glad all is well ... Here are 2 pics :-)Attachment 21580Attachment 21581

Awwww sweet little profile there LaVieEnRose. 💜 I'll be having an elected caesarean - after 2 emergency caesareans (one that started in a birth centre, and one that started as a planned homebirth) I've decided I don't want to go through the disappointment of that again (my caregivers were fine with me attempting a VBA2C if I had wanted to). At this stage baby will be born May 15th which is 39 + 2. As my boys were born 41 + 2 (7lb 9oz) and 42 + 1 (9lb 3oz) I'm not sure how much this baby will weigh but I'm guessing about 7lb.

Wow primal, you had a big baby too! I'm hoping this baby won't be bigger than my previous one at 9.4lbs! I'm only small! I was told that each baby gets bigger than previous one. Eek!
Planning another homebirth.
