Everyone is so lovely on here :hug2:, so glad i found this thread :)

Thank you for the info about the scan, sadly london is a little to far away, we are in leeds but it would have been great if we were a bit nearer and i've heard of baby bond but ill have to google them and see if i can persuade DH to book an early scan.

I pulled all of the boys baby clothes out yesterday and it was so lovely. I'm actually feeling ok if we have another boy now, we have a name picked for him and it would be nice to have 3 boys all close in age. Only 3 weeks and 2 days till i find out now though.

Theres seems to be loads of mums of boys on here too, wheres all the pics of the girls :D

OMG I missed so much!! DS1 has been sick and needing me constantly. :sad: Spring still hasn't arrived here yet... can't see any snow anymore. We have been sick now since February :drama:

DLTAG, welcome :happy: Your boys are so so cute! I hope the next 3 weeks and TWO (YAY!) days will go by quick for you! My pregnancy was a total surprise as well. After I had been swaying for a few months, I gave up because I couldn't believe I was able to get a girl without HT. Then we went HT, but ended up with a no transfer. 2 months later, I fell pregnant and I have to say I was on a pretty boyish diet at that time (eating A LOT of cookies during December..). Somehow, this baby ended up to be a girl anyhow. I still don't quite believe it though. I guess I am going to need some more scans plus birth to believe it, lol. I hope you will end up with your girl as well! :fx:

I cannot believe how handsome ALL of those boys are! Amazing! I can totally feel with you - getting another one of those won't be bad at all. I am always thinking of that one pic from facebook someone posted here a few days ago. I loved that. You are all going to be able to take one that is alike!
I am posting a picture of my boys as well. I haven't taken a picture of my bump yet though. I feel like it's ugly because I had surgery when I was 3 months old and now my bump looks fat. Well I guess I will take one anyway. Just for you, lol. Everybody on here is so tiny though.

Hope I didn't forget anything now. Who is up for the next scan? I hope there are still more DG coming up..

WAG, mine looks about like that too - both the kitchen and the bump! I can't be bothered holding my stomach in all the time this time around, and I'm not sure it's good for my pelvic floor either!!

Mum23G, yeah, that's a good point, it could easily sound like gender bashing, I hadn't thought of that. Well, poop! Damned if you do and if you don't!

Shining Star, I can understand the love/hate relationship to finding out! If you wait, you know it won't matter on the day. I wish I could be that patient, but I knew I could go loopy in those last weeks especially, when you're waiting to find out what day, how the labour will go, who on earth is in there, and so on. I go a little mad with impatience at the end anyway, I didn't need to add fuel to the fire!

Here is my bump, am officially 15 weeks but prob only 14+6 from ovulation. This is the morning as well, so I'm twice the size now.

honeychild i love that it almost makes me wish my third was another boy ;-S some days i'm terrified i see those made up 10 year old girls and think agh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she has summed it up i don't want a girl to dress in pink - thou the change will be nice - having a girl child as such does scare me a bit! i want a daughter to take me for christmas when i'm old, someone's wedding to help plan and children to share but i often wonder have invested too much in this dream will she be one of those daughters who grows up and emigrates ;-S

my dh went white the other night when i said but she won't have a sister.......could i sway again would it be a boy probably! I was chatting to a friend who has 2dd and then a ds (no swaying) who said i want to have a brother for ds but should i get try to get preggie knowing i want a specfic gender?......we all know the heartache to follow!

I am loving checking this thread for everyone's kiddo pics! I must say I think we all are pretty good at making adorable children, boys or girls!

WAG and Mum- you are lucky to be more obviously pregnant (and you both are all bump!). I have gained so much weight all over that I feel like I still look like I just have a beer gut lol.

Also for those of you having your 3rd boy, this is another sweet pic I love. DS3 had just started walking and was still wobbly so he got some help from his older brothers. They just asbolutely ADORE their baby brother.

I ordered a blooming bath on Monday and I got it today omg it is amazing! It is soooo soft and comfy and even fits in the small bathroom sink!

Southern I just love the picture of your three boys! My girls love each other so much and are really wanting a baby sister, I could see them being just like your boys and become totally obsessed with their baby Sissy if thats what we get! 3 of a kind really is a wonderful thing..its great to actually see that instead of just trying to tell ourselves it! :)

I personally found the jump from 1-2 more difficult than 2-3! I think it depends on the sort of baby you get.
My first was a dream baby, slept through the night from 5wks of age and rarely made a sound..... I thought I had parenting down pact and her placid behaviour was from my parenting skills... hahahaha I couldnt have been more wrong!
Then DS1 came along and right from the first night I knew something was wrong - we had 9 SHOCKING months of reflux and terrible ear infections (that often lead to blood oozing out of his ears onto his bed sheets) needless to say, he didnt sleep AT ALL for a solid 9 months.... He ended up getting his first set of grommets at 7 mths of age, which is really young. He has since had another set put in and his tonsils and adenoids out. He's not even 3 yet so he certainly had a rough start.
It was a huge adjustment for me, and then to add to the problems I had a tumour in my thyroid that was causing problems and needed removing. Fortunately it was benign, but DS1 was only 6 months when I needed the surgery and DD was only 2. I had to stop breastfeeding (not by choice) but found it too difficult and painful post surgery as DS1 was such a fussy feeder anyway with his reflux. Normally I BF until about 10-11mths.
Soooooo, due to stopping BF, O returned (i never O whilst bf) and I fell pg with DS2 much earlier than we had planned...
I was pretty upset at the thought of another one so close to DS1, as he was still soooooooooo unsettled..... Anyway, DS1 slowly improved over time (he still isnt a great sleeper) and then DS2 came along when DS1 was only 15mths old.
Well DS2 was and is such a delight! (thank goodness) He is just the most easy going softly natured little guy, such a blessing. He has just slotted in to the family, and is adored by his older sis and brother.
Im hoping number 4 will do the same ;-)
I absolutely dont know what I'd do if I had to go through what we went through with DS1 again! lol we'd cope Im sure...

When this baby comes along the ages of my kids will be DD just turned 5, DS1 will be 3, and DS2 will be 23 months. So Im sure my house will be busy with 4 kids 5 and under, especially as they dont go to daycare, DD goes to kindy (which is a 5 day fortnight) and DS1 does pre kindy (half a day a wk), so most of my days I'll have all 4 kids at home with me....

PS - sorry for the essay above! lol Ive been wanting to post about this for the last 2 days, but everytime I go to sit down for 2 mins the kids are AT ME!!! Ahhhhhh.........I sooooooooooo need a break - a kid free break!! lol

So, I got my blood results back today and everything is fine. Such a relief! I actually almost forgot to ask about the gender because it seemed so peripheral to why I'd had the bloods done but it's a boy!

DH and I are excited but not crazily so, I can see now that he genuinely would have been happy with another girl as well. I'm mainly happy that so far the baby seems healthy and all is well.

Congratulations Mum! Both for a healthy baby and finally a boy! He's going to be one spoilt little boy with three big sisters!

Wag how bigs your small sink mines v small ;-(. Seems perfect answer to stuip baby bath two splashing boys in big bath issue!

Salsa agree its down to baby I found 1to2 easier than 0to1! Hoping for another good baby ds1 had reflux and its a mare but ds2 didn't and dr said no genetic reason why future babies should have it so fx for us both!

Huge congrats Mum! I really hope I catch this blue streak!! Only a couple more weeks and Ill know!!

Salsa-I've been so curious to know how the transition from 2 to 3 goes! 1 to 2 was a lot harder then I imagined, but of course I think that mostly depends on the baby like you said! DD1 was a breeze as well and then DD2 was another story! No medical issues but very fussy and high maintenance. Im really hoping I get another easy baby and if not at least I know what to expect this time I guess!

my sink... its a typical small bathroom sink.... i origionally bought it for the kitchen sink cause it will be a lot easier to bathe him on the main floor so i can not worry about ds3 near the stairs but i was very happy to see i can use it in my smaller sinks too... and when the baby is bigger you can put it in the bathtub to sit on

my transition from 2 kids to three was quite easy for me but my first two were 7 and 5 but ds2 autism always makes things interesting and dh deals with him cause ds2 is super attached to him... i am quite worried about the new baby coming cause ds3 is 2 and he has a crazy attachment to me...also im very very close to him and im worried about having time for him..

Ladies I had my first gender dream last night! It was so vivid, and was a little baby girl - same name we are going to use, I could see her face and everything! Ive never had a gender dream before with my others (not that I can remember anyway) Im sure it only means my mind is still obsessing during the night as well as the day lol
Just wondering if anyone else has had a gender dream before they found out what they are having and was it accurate?

I had two gender dreams before finding out with this baby and both times it was a boy in the dream. :)

I had gender dreams every night and only had two girl dreams... But with ds3 I always dreamt he was a girl

Now that I know he's a boy I've been able to shop and shop and shop lmao .... DH says he will be staying single in his next life lmao
