TTC Blue Crew Grads

WP, you are so good getting ready ahead of time! I can never seem to get it together. Always doing things at the last minute!

I am fine, still waiting for my u/s next week, hoping to see a healthy baby... trying not to obsess on gender. I am not finding out at the scan, and I really hope they don't accidentally show me some "parts". I really want this baby to be a surprise! That said, I am sure it is a girl, so I am trying to adjust to that as well.

Hobber I wish I could have waited to find out.. the idea of a surprise is so fun! I'm glad I found out though. I don't think I would have handled the birth as well... I'm sure I would have had so much hope for a boy and then been crushed. But I LOVE the idea of the surprise and hope you get yours :) And hope it is blue!!

HI ALL! I am doing good..I am seriously pregnant! 34 weeks. The baby is super low, last check my doctor could feel his head right at my cervix, which is still closed but she said was thinning. She doesn't expect me to make it to my due date, she said probably end of May. I am not even going to get my hopes up! As wonderful as that would be he will come when he is ready! I think he will torture me and I will go past my due date. Funny thing is my doctor is never one to say you wont make it to this date and so on but she said it to me and that surprised me. She was very surprised at his position at my app. We shall see, next and final Ultra sound in MAy 14th! I can NOT wait to get my hand on this little boy that has been cozying up to my rib cage!!!

Hobber: I wish we had not found out sometimes. Especially since it is a boy....oh what a surprise it would have been. What day is your u/s next week?

B: I am so glad you have stuck around and are enjoying you baby girl. Are you still on your post part. high?

Tink: Wow, we will be stalking you for sure. An early baby....hmmmm.

DD3 is still battling this yuck, poor thing. I can not stand for any of the children to be sick, but she is so petite....she just can not afford to loss weight. I did still get all the baby clothes washed and put away today. I still have all the burp clothes and things to do, but at least the clothes are done.

I see the hospital on Friday to talk about this low placenta and these placental lakes.. I am hoping for a scan and them to tell me the gender but meh not holding hope!

Only 10 days till the big 20 week scan!!!!

Im here too...but because no one ever post i don't do it either. This would be a good place to us to hang out but maybe everyone is to busy.:(

I know Flava this thread is kinda slow! But still not dead :) 11 weeks for you, wow! Will you be having an NT scan this time? How are you feeling lately? Hope the sickness has gone away.

5 hope the placenta issues aren't causing you concern; I'm glad the hospital is on top of it. FX you get a scan and another peek. Sounds like you've SURELY got a boy in there but I can totally understand where you won't believe it ... goodness you probably won't really believe it til birth :bigsmile:

WP my hormones have evened out, darn it all! LOL! I am glad to be over much of the hormone stuff though. IRL I am a very cheerful, easygoing person and GD really wrecked me. I feel much more myself lately so that's good. Sometimes I can't decide if coming here is good for me or bad for me though... there are days I think I just need to move on. Seeing other people get their dream is AWESOME but also is such a reminder for me that I will likely never have that feeling. Totally a bittersweet thing.

How's girlmom? I want daily updates from her :)

DD2 turns three this month and she's so super excited! When I told her it was May today I thought her little heart was going to burst with joy :) We're going to the toy store today to get some ideas for what she would like as presents. That's going to be fun!

B- I feel like only 11 weeks! I just hope I can hide this until school is over I don't want no one in DD3 school to ask me about it.

begonia, I hear you about how you're not sure if coming here is good/bad for you, but I would be sooo sad if you leave. You are great fun to have around and your words always resonate with me.

Im fat so you can't really tell nothing. But in 4 more weeks ...I just think i will be to big even if I don't look pregnant ppl will ask why, you know...

Begonia, I know how you feel too. Coming on here is hard for me sometimes too. I am so happy when others get their dream come true, but it stings a little. I am so certain this baby is a girl, that I know I will be in the same position you are when it is born. I know I will love the baby no matter what, but this is the last one, and no more trying for a brother for my DS. It just breaks my heart. Plus, DH has been really stressed by the kids lately, and I am wondering if bringing another into the family was really all that great an idea... and if we have another girl... well, I wonder if it would be worth all of this, you know? That sounds awful, and I know the baby will be loved. But I just worry that my DH will not be able to handle our family being one person bigger. :( It is a stress for me too, but if it were a boy, I think I would be happier about the whole thing....

I feel the same not to log on some days...I think I only do because Im home and it's boring ? Also like to see what's going on with others I guess...maybe less and less...Somehow looks like the ttc blue girls get pregnant and stop logging in or barely do and the ttc pink girls are always on.:think:
I also don't feel fit in anymore somehow...the ttc group was always fun , but now it's like 3 blue girls left?

Hobbs I really hope you're expecting DS2. Thanks for empathizing; I know you get it and I appreciate that ... I think that's why I do have a hard time NOT coming here. At least here we can all talk about it. I do have a friend IRL who I talk about my GD with because she's got it too ... every time we hear about another friend getting pregnant we have chats about what we hope she has and why, LOL.

Flava I agree the pink ladies seem to stick around and be chattier! I get the not fitting in thing too. I felt that way a LOT once I found out it was DD3. It's really tough when you get an opposite because most people who do stop posting. The TTC thread was fun because there's so much hope involved there ... hope for BFP's, hope for getting the dream ... but then once you get a BFP and an opposite the hope and the goal is gone and it's hard to figure out where to go. That's why I don't post on the TTC thread, that's actually the hardest one for me to be on because it reminds me of how much I was looking forward to having a DS.

That said DD3 is my easiest baby, thank goodness :)

its been really long since i have been here......you are so right B.....once ur hear pregnant with the opposite.....its so depressing. i keep having mood swings....like i love this new baby and am excited but wonder what if it was a DS....
you know i am still clinging to the hope that it might change...lol.....but whatever at this point am at peace with both.i am trying to avoid being here much and continue my peace....

Begonia, I totally kwym about the ttc forum being hopeful and reminding you of that time in your journey here. For some reason, it kind of has the opposite effect for me- it's sort of good for me to feel like I'm in that space, even if I know I won't be logging on with bfp news anytime soon. I feel like if I relegated myself to an infertility site only, that would be the mentality that would start to consume me.

And Hobbs, don't you start getting GD for nothing!!! You are team green, right? Try not to think about it. What if you have a boy and you spent all this time feeling bad?

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in and say hi!

girl mom is stuck at 5cm and 100% effaced. shes miserable and pumped so full of medications she can't see straight anymore but the babys head is sitting on top of what is left if the 5cm cervix and she's in alot of pain. but they won't let her deliver yet!

Almost 31 weeks girlmom! You are doing great!!

I know I would regret not enjoying the pregnancy more... but honestly, I would love to be that person--to be able to say: "I really regret not enjoying my pregnancy, and obsessing about having another DD, when I actually was carrying DS2!" To have that happen would be awesome. That is a regret I wouldn't mind having at all!!

TTC5: Ahhh, maybe a sneak peak Friday!!! I hope they find things normal and baby gender.....what a great day that would be.

B: You seem like a verycheerful person. You always have such heart felt posts. I know GD is really and can get the better of anyone, but at least you have such a wonderful outlook and a sweet DD3. One of my daughters is 3, such a sweet age. This year she wanted a pink and white polka dot piggy bank for her birthday....and that is what she got.

Flava: You fit in here girl!!! I try to come one once a day, but sometimes I only get time to read before someone needs me.

Lola: I love seeing you around. Can't wait until you get to fly and get your BFP :)

Hobber: Did I miss it, what day week is your appt? Will you post pics?

Thanks guys for all the well wishes for DD3, she is sooooo much better today and now DH has it. And when he gets anything he is just dying....lol. Only 7 more wks left, this time it really has just flown by. I think with the holidays and everything being in teh middle of my pregnancy the time just passed too quick. If it keeps being this hot down in the south I may be singing a different tune in a few wks. :)

My scan is next Monday, the 7th. I won't get any gender pics--and I probably won't post any other ones either, because I don't want people guessing from the skull. I am just sure the baby is a girl anyway, but I know I will feel more GD if I get confirmation, or any girl guesses. I really hope the baby is healthy!!

WP-did you made the room yet? DD4 moved in with DD2 &3 now. (they have the biggest room in the house almost 300 sf ) so now we have a empty room for baby. First we fix it up for FIL for his visit. I just hope after that I want to do a baby room because for now i still don't ...
I also log on every morning that's when I have time. But looks like most of the posting goes on afternoon or night.

I would love to see the pics but it's not working?

Hobber: I understand why you wouldn't post pics, but my little guy's skull looked girlie to me at 20wks. A healthy baby is all we can really ask for. Good Luck on Monday, I am sure you will love to see the baby wiggling around.

Flava: Nope, I have not started the nursery, yet. I just have not had any time. I do need to put that on my "to do list". I am going to try and finish washing things this week. Don't worry, you may not feel like doing anything baby until after you u/s.

Well, DH is better, but now I have it. As long as I don't eat anything, I feel fine. Blah, just sooooo ready to be over this.

Tink, can't see the pictures, but I would love too! A dragon theme sounds awesome, and after all, it is the year of the Dragon, so you are having a dragon baby! :)

Yep 7 days to go! I do have a hospital app today though they may do a scan but not sure, and if they do they may not even tell us gender either.. but hoping they do one and do say lol.

Really I forgot all about this dragon thing. What was it all about? I remember I read something like it's the year of the dragon and all Asian ppl want a dragon baby because it's very luck ect or something like that?

Yeah, it is Chinese Astrology. WHat year were you born? I was born in 1972, Year of the Rat. My husband is a Tiger, DD1 is a Monkey, DS is a Dog, DD2 is a Tiger, and this baby will be a Dragon.

Tink, you look beautiful and the room is AMAZING! Seriously, you should submit photos to a design magazine or something. Did you create that yourself?

TTC5, no peek between the legs? Were your girls big like that? It's got to be your burly little guy in there!!!!
