Dreaming Pink Due Date Group: TTC and Beyond

My next scan will the NT scan between 12-13 weeks... so about 2 weeks from now :) Hopefully I get a sympathetic person who is willing to give me pics again :)

That's great your DH is excited too! Some men just don't get it... it's not that they don't care, they just feel detached I think. This time around our DH's were so in tune with TTC and everything that they feel the same excitement we do! And your DH has TWICE the reason to be excited :) twins are a very special thing for parents :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your next scan!

All these upcoming scans have me so happy girls......what a great week ahead!!! Charlee.....your "she" is one cutie!!!!

So I told my mom and SIL today....and fielded congrats from both with few questions on this pregnancy. Once my SIL left for home, my mom asked me if we were going to find out gender. She only knows that I was eating differently and exercising a lot more than with the boys, so I think that she is hoping pink and curious to see if I will get the chance for my girl!!! I mentioned that I am not sure if we are going to share gender even if we have a girl, but her and I both agree that someone will say something and either I will smile too big or burst into tears. I know that if this is my little boy Levi, I will enjoy his snuggles once he arrives and kicks in utereo, but there will be some longing for what I will miss out on. She knows that I want the girl for more than pink and that I want what she has with me.

Ladybugs, I feel the same way! The biggest reason I want a girl is that I dream of having a daughter to have the same kind of relationship with her that my mom and I have. My mom is my best friend and we share so much together. I actually told her I was swaying because she knows that I am TTC. When I shared this with her she confessed that she swayed when she was TTC me in 1978! It sounds like she did Shettles because she remembers temping and using a douche.

I really hope this is your little girl!! Of course it goes without saying that you will adore your little Levi if this is him. I LOVE that name!

Got my scan tomorrow at 11.00. Excited but very nervous. Hope my little jelly bean is swimming away nicely in there :)

I hope that your BFP (that you will get soon!!) has a little sticky, healthy pink bundle as the outcome.....and that you get to continue the legacy that your mom and you have with your daughter!!

My dad had said to my mom that he was going to leave her in the hospital if her DC#3 was not a boy. She had me, then lost a boy at 16weeks preggo, then had my sister, and ended up with my brother at the end. We joked that my brother spends the most time over there, but that is due to food and helping my dad as they are now in business together!

I would love it if all of us TTC pink dream girls had pink bundles!! Best of luck catching the pink swimmers!!!!!

And to you 3boys....I hope that your scan goes smoothly and you see your little bub right on target!!!!

Hi Ladies sorry I've been MIA recently. Preg hormones and buying & selling houses aren't at all compatible! Getting to me quite a bit. Lovely to catch up on everyone's progress.

I posted on the due in December thread but wanted to update here. That my scan went really well and baby was measuring three days ahead with a nice strong heartbeat :) :) :)

TTCPink, nice to see you on here. I really hope that this is your month and you caught the egg this cycle.

3boys, great news on your scan going well.

2LB, I am alright, thanks. We have spent a few days at my grandparents and although it was lovely to see them, it usually is a bit stressful and I am not sure if it is due to pregnancy hormones, but things got to me a bit more this time. But we are back home now and are already relaxing. Pregnancy-wise, I am looking forward to our next scan next Monday.

Pumpkin, I am trying to see if I can have my 1st of the Vorsorge-Scans as close to 12 weeks as possible to see if we can get a nubshot.

2lovelyboys I am feeling pretty yucky and pretty tired. DH is still away, the weather is crappy and the boys are not sleeping. Bit of a pity party going on! I think I am going to have an early night so that I am a bit more with it tomorrow.

I am still trying to work out whether it is safe to have injections when pregnant. Everyone seems to say something different. What do you ladies think?
