Yep, definitely sounds like O surprised you, Jamie. Remind me - are you taking Vitex? With me I've found that the first few months taking it it kept me guessing with my cycle - making O early one month, late the next. Apparently this is a good thing - you WANT your cycle to be different than your usual if you're TTC a girl. So...take it as a good sign :wink:
Grrrr...after that false start yesterday when I thought my cramps meant O was coming, there are practically no O signs today - my cervix is still mostly closed and only medium soft, and my cm is sticky. Boo! I have a feeling dh and I are going to be dtd in my MIL's bathroom later this week since I'm starting to be doubtful O is going to come before we leave for our trip.
I'm actually not taking vitex but I guess it's good that my cycle decided to be different on its own. I just feel a little worried that I didn't do everything right since I was not expecting it.
I'm sorry mocha I know it would really throw me off to have to be at my in laws house for our attempt. When will you be going? Maybe you can still O before then.
We leave on Thursday morning, so our last chance for an attempt at home will be Wednesday night. We haven't had any attempts yet b/c dh is still releasing daily to get us to 7 days for a proper FR, but if I start getting O signs today I'm going to have him release once then dtd. If everything stays as it is now, I'll just have him release today then we'll start dtd daily tomorrow.
I really hope it happens for you before then, you still have some time.
Mocha - that could make things more exciting for TTC, though... being a bit sneaky?
I don't know where OV is either, no fade in pattern on OPKs yet, but I do seem to have some EWCM at least and "high" on CBFM
That's what we thought last summer when we had to make our attempts at the family cottage. It ended up just being stressful, uncomfortable, and no fun at all. We also ended up missing attempts at key times because we just couldn't find a private place to do it. :(Quote:

Yesterday, DS1 went to see "Happy Feet Two" with grandma and DS2 was napping and my husband flashed me again. At first, I was thinking, why is he always in the mood at the WRONG time of the month for me? LOL, then when I saw how insistent he was, (He was doing a terrible dance, was not sexy, just funny), I knew he wasn't going to be easily dismissed.
So we went back to the bedroom, yada ya, DTD, and I was really getting into it, but my O is still a week away exactly :( Anyhoo, after we were done, he admitted that while I was in the shower an hour before he whacked it, but he wanted to do it, and then he asked me if that'd be good for getting a girl.
He looked like such a proud school boy, LOL, it broke my heart, so earnet, trying to be helpful. I said it sways girl, but he'd have to keep it up for a week straight to make it have impact. His eyes got big and he seemed a little discouraged, but I thought...how sweet, I really, really do think he wants us to have a daughter....even if it's just for me, I think that's cute.
He usually doesn't believe in swaying at all, but there are times that he listens and tries to follow thru (like he's wearing tighty whiteys though he hates them), he's been cutting back on beef and a lot of meat (though he still does eat meat, he's drastically cut down his intake.)

Oh, and yeah, I stapled my finger today trying to fix the stapler....now my finger is pulsating and it's hard to type with this bandage wrapped around it....what a way to start a Monday!
Lemon, will you / have you checked OPK today for a +? Being sick sways girl so this could be a good month to attempt!!
