I saw a fork on my first scan and went googling - apparently boys and girls nubs appear forked that early, so I wouldn't count yourself out yet!

I have to admit now to being totally confused, as i have seena few boy nub videos which lookmlike what I think I saw, as well as the girly ones!! so i officially give up trying to tell from what I can remember and by no-nub scan pics haha! Even better, one pic has a boy skull and the other has a girl skull!
I am also a little bit worried in case they can't tell at the anatomy scan, ill be 19+1 so I suppose I have a few weeks after to get a private one if I need to. Although I am slowly convincing myself I need to know now!! Lol.
I think you are right happypixi, there are too many similarities to be sure unless you know for sure what you are looking for!

OMG!! I'm getting sick to my stomach from the excitement and anticipation by reading all of your accounts from **Scan Day**, LOL!! Congratulations to everybody!! I'm imagining this will be me in exactly 2 weeks...

Well I have never been happier to be wrong! That boy nub I saw was indeed the umbilical cord. Although we didn't get a wonderful potty shot, it was very obvious during the scan we are expecting another little girl. There are 2 sad little boys who didn't get the brother they wanted, 1 oblivious little girl, and 3 happy people in our house today. I feel so guilty for being SO SO SO lucky! And dreading telling the people I know in real life who have GD. I feel relief for myself and sadness for my friends and family who didnt get their longed for daughter/son.

Congrats Hopeful!! that is definitely a girl!!! You saw my little man's penis at 14+6 and that is something you definitely can't miss! I can see her girly parts perfectly!

Riben- I would go pay for one. LOL I am psycho and have zero patience what-so-ever. I give you props for being able to keep yourself from going. I would be going nuts! I was and first chance I got I ran to the fastest elective ultrasound possible!
