Hopeful, I am not sure what to make of your situation.....in my opinion, if you don't get a definite positive, you didn't O. I think your body can get darn near close with the estrogen, which in turn causes the LH to rise, but unless it gets to a certain high level, it is not a true "surge" and won't trigger ovulation. It may indeed be that the supps are causing a little havoc, but it may also be that you did indeed ovulate and like 3PNB, your tests just don't get super dark. Mine do, so I know that if they are *close* to the line color, then they are not quite positive yet. I would just keep on and wait for AF (or poas) and maybe drop a few supps or something. Also, are you sure you are testing with opks properly? That can do it also. And I will say, I don't think the diluted urine makes a difference. You MUST not pee for 4 hours, and whether or not you drink a gallon of water in that 4 hours and have a bladder that is about to burst, you will still get an accurate test, but you need 4 hours for the LH to accumulate in your urine for an accurate reading. My first month with opks and ttc (um, last August, ugh!), I was at a music festival in Chicago and was drinking tons of water as I was in the sun all day (and didn't want to tempt myself with beer). I kept getting negative tests, through CD13,14,15. I thought I was because I was drinking so much water. Turns out, I was just peeing too much in between testing, because on CD16 I did get a very positive test, and I was drinking the same amount of water, just holding the pee so it was in there for 4 hours. I hope that makes sense! It is kinda like the same thing with pg tests....why you use FMU when you are poas early.
Babydes......I am dying for you, I cannot tell you how much I am praying this is your month, girl!!!
And of course, all of you other lovely ladies, much love and hope that all is going according to our little blue plans!
