I am still holding out hope that baby will be normal. DH is quite supportive but i wonder how stressed he must be inside. Men never show much emotions. I did have s talk with him. We need to think of how we will manage incase this baby is "special" in its own unique ways. I will be honest I don't have it in me to manage a competitive 80+ hours a week job, a house, 3 kids and a gifted child. I am already stretched too thin ...
The only final hope, ultrasound is a bit off and baby isn't as small as it is predicting.

Also i have a question for ladies who are pros at team green. Not that it mstters but a thought just occured to me.
When u tell the tech ur team green do they still show u all parts of baby ? The thing is my tech has done the femur measurements, cord insertion and belly measurements on screen infront of me so many times but i didn't see anything. Should i assume that means girl or is there still a chance ? Are the techs really that skilled at not taking that certain angle but yet showing u all the rest ?

Mine never showed me because DH asked not to show us.
However I saw all of my DD's and nothing was there, granted I had no idea what I was looking at. But now that I look back I realise she was a girl.
I'm thinking by now if you're seeing a lot of bub's body down there and don't see anything, probably a girl??

Blue, I have been shown everything except sometimes the bladder measurements without getting any gender clues. The techs are quite skilled.

Blue booties - I'm thinking of you and your family. I hope it turns out to be nothing. Also on the scan question. Since I had 2 girls, I was definitely looking for a clue but never saw it until the tech specifically went right up and under the bottom to look. Maybe some babies are better at hiding it than others.
LMSM - I'm sure your friend will be happy for you just as you would be for her once you announce. I'm feeling OK other than some back pain here and heartburn here and there. I can't believe in less than 2 weeks I'll be in the 3rd trimester!
Shann - so exciting! It's almost baby time!

Bluebooties - sorry to hear...hope everything is fine at the next scan and you have nothing to worry about xo

Had my routine ob appt this morning and ended up having my midwife appt and maternity ward walk thru! Excitement is at an all time high!!!! Also she asked if there was any requests for the birth and I mentioned the possibility of not announcing gender so my boys and my mum could be a part of the reveal when I'm back in my room and she said absolutely no problem [emoji3][emoji3][emoji3] cant believe I'm 9w6d from meeting my baby eeeeeeeeeekkkkk!!!!!!!

Forgot to ask is anyone taking magnesium to help with hamstring/calf muscle ache/tightness? I mentioned it to my ob this morning and she told me to eat a banana a day (for potassium) and to take a magnesium supplement to help ease it. When I was at Woolworths getting some groceries I checked and could only find a high dose one that was 600mg!? It may be perfectly fine but seems high to me... I'll be going to a pharmacy this afternoon for more options on dosage but thought I'd check if anyone else is taking it and what dose?

So I did a little reading and from what I can see it looks like around the 300mg is good [emoji3]
