Our anniversary is 11/10/11 but we're going on 12 years together. I'm super surprised to hear somebody else had that name on their list- but that also makes me kind of happy- lol. We tend to pick very different names so it's nice knowing it's not THAT weird. I haven't been working out nearly like I did the first time around- I ran up until 6 or 7 months and did pretty intense yoga up until the end- this time I'm lucky to get a walk or mini aerobic video in:( I'm up about 26 lbs so far so will probably hit my standard 30-35 lbs which is fine- still feels icky while you're in it though.

Hi ladies. Great to hear all about your stories. Love the name Hendrix. :)
Im 6 months (24 weeks) and last midwife apt gained 9 pounds. I deff think this months apt will be higher.
Being pregnant with a girl for me has been different. Ive been more moody and emotional but on the positive note my body hair has virtually stopped growing! How nice to not have to shave. Lol ;) With the boys it was faster growth. Ive been craving pineapple juice bad. I think its from aloha isle in Disney (pineapple smoothie type drinks)-- check that out if you can.. its amazing!-- I just read it can induce labour so i may have to lay off lol. I think she will be smaller than my last baby.. which i am happy with. People keep saying im small but i feel big! I think they are just being nice. I have not been working out. Thats probably going to come back and bite me later after she's born and i have alot to lose. I've actually had a nasty cold that has not been fun.
November to me seems to drag. I have a strong hate for this month. Its the month my grandpa passed and i always get sick. Also the weather here is terrible.
I am just anxiously awaiting December bc i love Christmas and all that comes with it!
I feel like now the pregnancy is dragging... i just want to meet her! Jealous of all you ladies that get your little ones soon.
Heres a belly pic.

Thanks! We usually keep the name a surprise and though nobody else knows I figured posting it here would help give me some confidence it's a good choice.Robin- you're belly is perfect! Everyone tells me I'm small too and I also feel huge- I think we're probably perfect and 9 lbs at 24 weeks is seriously impressive- keep up the good work!

Hey girls, love reading about names and all the events that everyone has coming up. Hendrix is so cool Lala!
Robin u look fabulous, ur bump is small. I've also been on the smaller side this time (it was the same for both DDs previously), I still find it hard as my body just doesn't ever seem to 'balance' well enough and I get bouts of sciatica. I have a bunch of varicose veins on my legs that appear in pregnancy and I have started wearing compression socks as they are starting to throb an hour after I get up. Sigh! The things our bodies do! I am 30weeks (and about 2 days) and have put on about 11pounds/5kgs. I am trying to have a nutritious intake of food, but sometimes I'm just not hungry. I still eat more than normal.
DH and I were discussing contraception as this is our last, and he is happy to have a vasectomy, so I'm pretty stocked at the thought I don't need to take the pill or get my tubes tied.
We have a fair bit going on in the lead up to January, a weeks holiday (our last as a family of four), two birthdays in December and then Xmas and new year. So lots of baking, cooking and planning to keep me busy. After News years I'll try relax as much as I can as there will only be a few weeks to enjoy the full nights of sleep before this little one starts waking us up every few hours hahaha. I am definitely looking forward to him arriving. The thought of not being pregnant again is actually quite exciting for me 😊

Oncue- I haven't gotten to that point yet- the one where I'm ok with not being pregnant again. I assume that means I'm not done having kids yet because everyone I talk to says you just know when you're done. I cannot believe how little weight you have gained- I feel like such a piggy!!! Haha

1 how many months
2 how many time in a week and how many hours of work out

Lala, I do think when u know ur done ur done haha! After DD2 we were just never sure, will we have another? won't we? Until we finally tried and got a BFP. We were really happy and just knew this was it (even before finding out gender). I've got to say I am not one of those ladies who has wonderful pregnancies, so I actually don't enjoy that process much, but the end result is what gets me over the line! I hate saying that too, as I don't want to sound ungrateful but my body just struggles, and I don't think I cld do it again.
I think the weight gain will catch up with me these last 9 weeks, haha I expect to explode soon enough!
Hi wantinfo, welcome! I'm sorry I won't be much help as I didn't do weight training but I think a few of the girls did with good results! Hopefully they have a bit more helpful info than I do. Good luck xo

Bout being done. We always said 3, but while pg with ds 2 DH said we have another shot at a girl. I replied what if its a boy too. Then and there he opend the first door to #4. Somehow i always felt i would get 3 sons first. Cause 3th was indeed a boy.
We doubted for a long time about using door4.
And we both knew that was the last one.
Our youngest will be 4 when this baby arrives. The eldest will be 8.
But this is definately our last. It feels done. Though i love the feeling of the baby kicking and will miss that. Ialso feel its enough.

I'm 99% sure we're done after this one. Hubby is 100% and I'm probably more like 90%, but the fact that hubby is 100% done brings me up to that 99% :-) If we had ended up having a girl for #2, I told DH that I couldn't guarantee that I wouldn't want to try for #3, but since we now have the boy, I know I really can't win that argument. Plus, to be honest, as much as I absolutely adore the baby phase, I'm sort of excited to move on to the next stage in our family life.
It's funny because in the beginning of this pregnancy when I thought it was going to be just like the last one, I thought there was no way I would want to do this again. But it actually got so much better and now has actually been enjoyable being pregnant, so I could see doing it again if that's what we wanted. The other thing is working while doing it all. I think if we were in a place where DH's income was sufficient for us and money wasn't so tight, I'd want more kiddos. It would be so awesome to experience being a stay at home mom, even if just for a year or two, but it's not in the cards for us. I hate admitting it, but having more kids really does come down to finances for us.
I know money doesn't buy happiness, but it does make it easier to attain, lol. My mother struggled as a single mom with 4 kids, and although I feel I had a great childhood, there are things I want to be able to do for my kids and family that she wasn't able to do, mostly due to financial constraints. And then I look at DH's family who had 2 incomes and 1 child, and he had all those things. Again, it's not about things per se, but also experiences like family vacations and options for college, etc. Plus just less stress in general :-)
And since I know DH is done, these are things I tell myself to be okay with that, lol. If he wanted more children, I'd probably be saying the exact opposite!

wantinginfo9 - to answer your questions... I was working out fairly regularly with a trainer even before we decided to sway, but ramped it up a bit once we decided to. I'd say I worked out 3 times a week for about an hour doing weight training with my trainer, then I would also do about 3 days a week of cardio - generally a dance class or something active like that. All in all, we were swaying for about 6 months.
I think I noticed an increase in testosterone from the working out, but even more so from all the protein I was eating and the gelatin drinks I did. I was drinking about 3 protein shakes per day along with eating lots of protein rich foods as well, like at least a couple eggs a day and lots of meat. I would also drink 1 gelatin drink per day all month long, but the week of our attempts I would up that to 3 per day. I'm not 100% sure if I was just imagining it or not, but I definitely felt like I had more testosterone when I did all those things consistently.
Good luck!!
