Also, the baby will prefer the bottle anyday because it is much easier to suck milk out than it is to get it out of the breast, so if she gets fussy and frustrated at the breast, this will be a big reason why. Just so you know and you don't feel like there's something wrong with your body! :)

Thank you Cosmosis. I should clarify that we don't supplement with a bottle. She has never had a bottle. We use a little tube system that goes next to my nipple so she thinks she is drinking from boob but formula is coming from a container nearby via her sucking. And I only do that after she has had 20 minutes straight breast without tube so she is stimulating on her own. When I pump after she feeds I get only drops. If I pump before she feeds I get about an ounce.
