Yes, please listen to AS she's right. I'm a perfect example of this and now have to suffer the consequences and possibly end up swaying blue due to dropping certain things)

Aww lovemy2blessings, I read some of your other posts but didn't respond bc I didn't know the answers to your questions. I hope all works out for you and you start ovulating again. That really stinks for you. I just wanted to express to you that I hope things work out for you. Like you said in a previous post to me, ultimately in the end its Gods decision what we end up with. I truly believe that too. The most important thing is a healthy and happy baby regardless what gender baby we each conceive. Although it would be nice to add a little pink into my family and extended family of all boys. Again hope things work out for you.
Thanks Trishy, my husband tells me everyday to drop the craziness and to continue praying that God already has plans for us. Honestly, at this point in my life I would be extremely happy with a sticky bfp, let alone with a super healthy baby. I would see it as a miracle because at this point I feel like I will never get a bfp;( if I do I'm going t be extremely shocked and thankful to God for another blessing and as you say I would love a babygirl, but will be happy with another DS;)
Just in terms of fertility, Oing earlier is generally a good sign, so I'm glad for your sake. :) I think I'll probably be okay but I won't be fasting again until I'm done having children, I think. Like you I'm unsure about exercise. I would love to start walking then running again but it's so hard to start in the winter without a partner. I would do yoga - I have some great videos I follow, one is moderate and one is intense/fast paced, kind of cardio yoga - but I'm afraid of those swaying blue!
I really don't think your cookie splurge affected your sway. Maybe I'm wrong to think this, but I believe in listening to my body including cravings. Maybe you needed something in those cookies to prepare your body for pg. Plus your eating habits and lifestyle, based on your description, remind me so much of a friend of mine. She had one boy then three girls and I've grilled her about everything she was doing when she conceived her kids. Like you she gets up early but doesn't eat breakfast right away and her normal diet is very similar to your version of the LE diet. She often splurges on baked goods and always is first to clean her plate at mealtime (unless I'm there and then it's a tie, lol).
I was laughing reading about your desire for a September baby. I totally understand! My birthday always fell during Spring Break which I hated growing up. My mom always received combined gifts bc she was born Jan 2nd. There really are better and worse times for birthdays.
I'm praying this is our month, and thank you for your positive thoughts! I think those really do help.
Do you plan on having more than 2 children?
I know that AS has told me intense cardio sways girl. I would think just walking isn't enough but I could be wrong. Did you do any of your videos before you conceived your boy? I completely understand about you being worried your yoga videos would sway boy.
About my cookie splurge.. I can't deny it was a lot of cookies in the grand scheme of things. Lol. Didn't really eat any real meals those days. More like cookie meals! Like Cookie Monster from Sesame Street! Lol. I know in chrisrnas I did eat 2 slices of pepperoni and some provolone and fresh mozzarella cheese. Mmm! Them dinner was 4 pumpkin raviolis so I was confident about that. Lol. Who knows! What's done is done now.
No this would be my last child. We couldn't afford to have 3 kids. We can barely afford to have two but I really want another and I want my son to have a sibling. My mother was an only child and used to tell me if you have a child one day please don't let them be an only child. Although now she tells me differently bc she sees the cost of living in New York and worries about us. Also my brother and I don't have a great relationship. There's almost 6 yrs between us bc my mom had 3 misses in between and drs told her to take a break for 2 years. She had a huge cyst that wouldn't shrink with meds so they had to surgically remove it and once she had they problem resolved she was pregnant with me.
Also my age to me plays a factor too with having more kids. I always said I didn't want to have kids after 40 yrs old bc of risks but it seems if I don't get preggo soon I will be looking at being 41 when giving birth. Of course not trying to offend anyone on here with age etc. that's my personal feeling about whets good for me.
Thanks for telling me about your friend. I hope it works for me like it did for her! Lol. Although I waited to eat breakfast until noon today and now I'm starving and its 4pm. I'm going to look for a snack without high sugar. Maybe ritz crackers but this is where I fall off the diet. Wish I would have eaten a large bagel this afternoon instead of a mini bagel. Probably would have felt fill for a longer period of time.
Anyway got to go wake up my little peanut. Hope we get bfp this month and girl dust too!
Do NOT beat yourself up! You should know that I was a boy swayer with a great sway and guess what? I'm having a little girl. You will have what you ate meant to have. You can try to sway the odds but in the end who knows if it really matters. If I can gain 5 lbs, eat whatever I want, lots of protein, fruits and veggies and still have a girl - so can you. Good luck and RELAX :)
:) Swaying is not and cannot ever be 100%, if it were the entire human race would have died out a long time ago. I will always work to improve the odds but no one should ever expect a guarantee of gender. It just doesn't work that way.
Good thing it doesn't work sometimes.....I love DD3 like crazy. So thankful to God for her.
Sorry for gatecrashing the thread, but just wondered about the whole exercise thing. I run (or rather ran- at 39wks preg I'm currently not running anywhere)! 3 times a week and really upped my mileage when ttc a girl.
I also lost lots of weight and was strict on diet.
My SIL is overweight and doesn't do exercise- she likes baking, and she got her girl, whereas I'm having my third boy.
I remember reading on here about testosterone possibly increasing chances of boy? And a study about women who are more active having more boys?? Something about a NZ hockey team if I remember rightly?
Can u shed any light on this AS?
Am still considering swaying for no.4 or HT, so still studying sways like crazy!
But on plus side, my boy is due in 2 days snd can honestly say I'm very excited and currently GD free ; )
