Those who swayed pink while using Clomid....come in!

It def is hard to get it but as atomic said it depends on the dr. You want to be monitored so u know if you will have twins. How old are you? Your best bet is to tell them u been trying forever and can't get pregnant. can u go to any fertility clinic sometimes they hand it over quicker. You can get it it just how believable your story is and if u don't get it from your first dr u should then go to another dr. I got it at a fertility clinic and my gyn wanted to refer me to a fertility place but I went on my own and convinced him.

I'm 36. I just had my annual and told my doc we would start trying soon for another, dammit me-from-the-past!!! I should've kept my big mouth shut! lol
I don't think my insurance covers going to a fertility clinic :/

Are u sure because don't think only IVF at a fertility clinic. They also do IUI Clomid - fertility drugs etc. What insurance do you have? Most will cover your appointment but you aren't getting any treatment done. They may ask for a work up of your husband sperm but see tomorrow of u can go to one. And I bet your insurance will pay. Mine paid for visits. But anything fertility like IVF they wouldn't pay for

So I will be trying again soon for #3, I have been told I have PCOS so went on clomid and conceived my ds2, ds1 was a natural fall not swaying at all. Trying for bub #3 next year hopefully a pink bundle. Should I try and sway naturally for a few months first then if no luck go back on clomid?? What's the best option to make a girl when you have PCOS?

No, Clomid sways pink no matter what, but it's just not a magic bullet. You do not need to "do the opposite", some things just sway pink, period, even if they didn't work the last time.

I would do LE Diet modified for PCOS http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...rt-3-pcos.html and use the Clomid.

I read some reviews about clomid and it says clomid sways 50/50 and 8-10% twins(more chances for womends under 25).
I heard some stories of clomid swaing boys so I'm little worried.
I'm thinking in using clomid as well for my sway...

You'll find a lot of the boys conceived with clomid, their mums usually have high testosterone and blood glucose as part of their PCOS obviously, that seems to make a difference

So should I run some tests before?

I don't know about getting tests done, the clomid works in a way that makes it a more hostile environment, which is what we are trying to recreate through diet and other means when trying to sway girls. It is defo something good to have in a sway and other parts of your sway would help to reduce testosterone levels and insulin putting you in a more girly way.

Clomid is shown in studies to sway pink between 3-5% Our stats bear it out as do some other studies I have which show it to sway pink even beyond 3-5% range when used by people who do not strictly need it for TTC.

The reason why you and I and everyone know people with Clomid boys is because firstly, there are no magic bullets. Secondly, most of the people who are prescribed Clomid are people wiht PCOS and PCOS sways blue to begin with. and thirdly, because the vast majority of people on Clomid are doing everything in their power to increase fertility both individually for male, female, and together as a couple. All these things that increase fertility, sway blue.

You do not need the tests, My. Clomid sways pink for EVERYONE, it's that some people are so strognly set for boys to start with (such as people with PCOS, who are the vast majority of those who are prescribed Clomid) that they can shake it off and still conceive boys while taking it.

There are no magic bullets, no magic pink pills. All you can do is all you can do and Clomid is one thing I think really truly works.

I'll be taking clomid when I do my attempt. My doc does 50 mg unmonitored the first cycle and I'm a buy cared of twins. It's not the end of the world if we have then, I just feel like whenever there's a small chance if something then it happens to me! A doc will give me a drug and say, well 5% if people get nausea/dry mouth/itching/whatever and I always get it lol!

I am scared of twins too. That is the initial reason why my doc prescribed me Femara, but I panicked and asked him to switch it to clomid since more people are using it to sway pink (I didn't tell him that part.)

Have any of you gotten an hCG trigger along with your clomid? I have the option to, but not sure if I'm going to do it or not.

if you get the shot it'd be good for timing as you'd know when you were going to ovulate and could time your one attempt. I'm not sure if hCG sways though

Atomic mentioned it doesn't sway either way, so I do want to use it. I really would like to get a BFP this cycle because I'm starting back to work next month and maternity leave would line up perfectly for the next summer! Plus, I miss my breakfast!!!

We do not have that level of data. The study seemed to show Femara was better but I think that may be a phony result (because more people were able to get pregnant on the Femara). On paper, Clomid ~should~ sway more than Femara but we do not have enough data to know if "on paper" is really correct, KWIM? Estrogen sways...well, maybe, maybe not.

I do not believe hcg sways

I got my clomid, hgc trigger, and progesterone meds today so I'm ready! I start taking it today so I'll be taking it days 4-8. My doctor wants me to be monitored, so I'll go in for that next week. I'm nervous about giving myself the trigger shot!

Don't stress about the trigger shot I have jabbed myself before and I found it very easy and I hate needles! I found it less painful doing it myself then when the nurses did it for me.

I know this is an older thread but I am looking at swaying with clomid. I have had a failed HT cycle and pretty down and desperate. My usual cycles can be very long and I am a huge stress head and some months I completely miss a period. I have had all my pretesting and insulin resistance done which has come up neg for pcos. I have managed to get some clomid from a close friend but I really feel I would like to be monitored. I am going to talk to my dr and see if he can organize this for me. Do you always need a trigger shot with clomid? My mum used clomid and never had a trigger shot. Can anyone please give me some advice on swaying with clomid. I am looking at 1 attempt as I have fallen pregnant both times first month ds2 was only dtd once! I have brought a sway plan from atomic but at that stage I wasnt using clomid. Can hubby still take LR and such?

Pinkin, you would need to ask Atomic about Clomid and details.
I used it for 2 cycles and also conceived my DS from 1 attempt first try but it seems my first attempt on Clomid failed for my DD trying. I'm thinking at other reasons(u/s gel who killed all my hubby's sperm) but you should definetly take in consideration more cycles.
I've used it under Atomic monitoring and did frequent u/s with my doctor.
Everything was fine but I can tell you that my cycles are 28-29 days and have my Ov always between 14-16 day.
I only used it for sway purpose.
Definetly ask Atomic. She knows about everything! Trust her!

I know I could very well get another boy and thats ok but if I have the chance to try clomid with supervision I am going to go for it. My dh had a crazy gender split it didnt suprise me tho so I am not hopeful that any sway will work for me but im going to try what I can!

Many girls got pg with first try as well so of course your chances are high!
If you are able to BD more then once in your fertile window, then go for it.
It will increase chances of a boy but you can easily get a girl as well.
Never loose hope.

NO, you do not need a trigger shot when on Clomid but if people have the option to do so, I often recommend they do as it makes the timing of one attempt (best odds of pink) much easier and the shot doesn't sway.

I mentioned this to you already, pinkin, but for others who are interested - if you only have one month of Clomid, you have a couple options - but they're not really options insomuch as they are two ends of a continuum.

One is to do a lax sway in most other ways to up chances that you will conceive on Clomid, and the other extreme is to do a strict sway and just hope that you get pg while on the Clomid, because you won't be on Clomid for a full 6 months and don't have the time pressure that others have if you are taking it only one month.

You can of course compromise (and this is my recommendation) where you pick the things that sway the most (such as supps for DH) and drop the things like jelly, antihistamine, frequency, and timing.

I will start with Clomid tomorrow, as i am on CD 3 then.
I makes me kinda nervus because i really want to get pregnant this cycle.

What day do you guys start with ovulation tests? I was planning to start on day 10, as ik read that Clomid gives you false positive tests. I usualy O on day 11-12.

Clomid will help you ovulate in the 7 day after your last pill.
This is the rule, but exceptions might be.
You could start testing day8, just to be sure and not loose this cycle.

Dit anyone have had a positive OPK 2 days after taking the last Clomid?

I am on CD 9 now, so a bit soon. but took a OPK anyway. I came out positive...

Should i believe this? Or should it be false? I don't want to do more than one attempt...

Clomid can give false result...but I would attempt, to be honest...this will cover the next 2 days as well.
Or you can try do another 2 different opk tests to see if they match.
