Congratulations on your sweet little boy gpkm xxx when he is here you won't swap him for 10 girls xxx
Congrats on your baby boy! Sorry you didn't hear pink, but glad all is well and healthy.
Gpkm, sorry you didn't hear pink but be sure this little guy will shower you with that special kind of love only a son could give a mother, they are so concerned for their mums and so protective, I love that about my boys, and this little guy will be very special to you and only enrich your life. Congratulations! x
Grease, I LOVE the name! How gorgeous! We keep going through names but it sounds like it will be one of these, Anya, Olivia or Emily, but not sure which! What do you girls think?
I won't be choosing a middle name as in my Country we don't usually give middle names, but rather the mother's surname, and then the father's, which I find pretty fair considering I'm the one who carries a baby for 9 months and go through all the agony of bringing it into the world lol. So, for example, she would be called Anya (or Olivia or Emily) Amorim (my maiden surname) Doyle (daddy's surname). But I would use my surname as a middle name because I don't want to hyphenate it and have the poor dear spell it for the rest of her life, so my maiden name becomes her middle name. Unusual when you live in australia, but I can't give up my maiden name like that and just use daddy's name, not fair in my mind (too feminist?lol)
Aidens mum. You have a lovely surname. It isn't weird at al too use that.
Thanks aidansmum!!! I LOVEEE Anya, it's so sweet and unique!!! I know a lot of Olivias and Emilys :)
Thanks girls! The hard thing about choosing an uncommon name is that you like it but you don't know what it sounds like to others. Thanks for your help. We might go with Anya I guess, I think it suits a child and it sounds so womanly and classic in an adult. Thanks again for your opinions!
Sorry you didn't hear pink. My heart goes out to you.
I hope you begin to feel peace about your little one soon. It sounds like he's healthy, so that's good. We're here for you.
I like Anya and Olivia. Beautiful names.
I have a friend who gave her maiden name to her son as a middle name, and it works well.
I agree with Anya! Beautiful name!
Thought of my gender reveal just going to make up some pink paint get a white t-shirt and have the boys plaster their hands all over me, that should get the message across ;)
I LOVE Anya :) beautiful :)
I like the Anya. Olivia and Emily are very popular here. Still struggling with names. I think it comes down to Makayla, with a nickname of Kayla or Madison...At least I finally picked out the nursery bedding and crib set! Everyone else starting to decorate and getting ready?
Snips, you can't go wrong with either of those names :)
I have started shopping a little bit but not too much because, now call me crazy if you want, I am waiting for another confirmation at 20ish weeks lol I found this website zylily or something like that and I can't stop lol
Bedding, I have not found one that I love yet, still looking for that lol Other than that, nothing much!
Ladies how in the world do you attach a picture. I wanted to share the picture I used to make our announcement with you all but I can not figure out how to do it. Clicked on the little picture of the tree & attached the file but after I upload it & try to post, the picture is not there just a link that takes me to a screen that says I can not share. Usually pretty good with computers but at the moment feeling totally dumb! LOL
It it wasn't for the risk of having her teased at school and being called `onion` I would chose Anya, definitely, but you know how mean kids can be! Even though, even kids with common names are teased for this or that reason, can you really escape it? It's such a big decision, but my favourite is definitely Anya.
dreams, not only you, sometimes I have to attach my picture 5 or 6 times before it actually shows on the post! It must be some system glitch. Can't wait to see it!
I don't blame you Grease, I hardly bought anything until my 20 week scan where I could see the potty shot, even with the 99% accuracy Harmony gave me. I guess it doesn't hurt to be cautious! I'm making up for the lost time now though, gosh, she is going to be such a pink baby! :)
Grease- it took until my 20 week until I really started looking and buying! I also couldn't find any bedding it was driving me crazy. I went with the Glenna Jean Victorian collection. You can only purchase online I think. She has a really nice collection of bedding. Also posh tots.com but was very pricey. Love Zulily! And etsy!
I am glad I am not the only one AM!!
I have been wanting a girl for so long, never thinking I would actually be lucky enough to have one, and I had the perfect name and everything and when I got the confirmation, everything went out the window!! I wanted to find her a new name and was extremely hard to find it. Now it seems like I am having a hard time finding things for her lol
When I would shop for my boys I would see SO many girly things and now I am seeing the opposite, more cut boy things lol
Hopefully once it's confirmed at my 20 week+ I can go shopping lol
Snips!!! Posh tots, OMG!!!!! So pricey but oh they have the best and most gorgeous stuff I have seen!!!!!
Trying to attach my announcement. Hope it works!!

Yay! It attached! The laptop was the trick. Titled the announcement Oh brother...coming July 2014.
Dreams, cutest announcement I have seen !!!!!
Thanks grease! I'm really glad I did it, esp after how down I was feeling last week. People really liked it & thankfully I didn't get any negative comments on baby being another boy.
snips I really like Makayla also. Such a pretty name!
dreams, what a lovely announcement! And they look so proud of their new little brother! Awwww! So cute, love it! x
Grease- yes isn't that website posh crazy expensive! Who would spend 1,000 $ on a crib set? But so pretty. I really wanted something pink, frilly Glenna Jean has a lot.
Dreams- love the announcement! Your kids look so excited:) thanks about the name, that has always been our girl name so I should trust my gut instead of second guessing...
