Is anyone here DTD every four days or are you all using OPKs? I'm not sure how often to do a PG test. I don't want to obsess about it and do it every day. Do you think once a week or fortnight would be sensible? I've no idea when I'll ovulate you see. I stopped BF in July but haven't had a cycle yet. Thanks
weezie - that's tough because I'm DTD every 4 days but my cycles are somewhat regular so I have a decent idea of ovulation. In your case I'd probably test weekly (especially if you have a ton of internet cheapies). I don't think I could stand to wait every 2 weeks!

Honestly I think not testing would make me more Martha because I'd obsess over every little symptom and wonder all the time! :) That being said I'm a crazy Martha no matter what i do.. definitely fighting nature on this pink sway for me!

I caved this morning and took a test at 8dpo with fmu. bfn.
I was expecting it because it is so early, so I'm trying not to feel sad at all. I hope since I already saw one bfn if I get more and this isn't my cycle I'll feel less disappointed than if I had waited until AF was due and gotten my hopes up.
What tests are you using? Get yourself a FRER. At 15dpo you should get a dark line on a FRER if pregnant. FX for you!Quote:

I also tested this morning at 8dpo and got a bfn. I've been having some odd symptoms and my tests say they can work as early as 7-10dpo, so it was worth a try. I'm planning to test again at 10dpo and 12dpo.
My period is one day late and I am still getting BFN...?

I'm testing every day starting today. I bought some dollar store cheap tests. I'm not sure how early they'll read, but it eases my mind in the morning to just take one.

Ladies I need some input!! I noticed something very strange today... (this could be tmi) My labia and clitoris are like a purple color???!! !! They have always been like a rose/lipstick shade of darker pink. (I have brown skin). I shave every day so I'm very familiar with the appearance of my bits and know that this has never happened before. When I try googling it I feel like I'm only getting results about women who are very pregnant, like 3rd trimester types. It has me so perplexed I even checked WebMD. All it says is it could be bruised skin? It doesn't hurt like a bruise, and I honestly can't imagine bruising my labia minora or my clitoris.

I read its related to pregnancy. I doubt its an injury. However if AF comes I definitely suggest you call your ob so they can take a look and diagnose you.
I think that's a great sign Tigerlily! Everything has increased blood supply during pregnancy and thus the blueish color. Even the cervix turns blueish and would be seen during a pap smear during early pregnancy. It's common for the labia and vagaina to become swollen as well as it's engorged with blood (some people say it feels "tighter" when dtd). FX for you and I hope you get your BFP in the next couple of days!

Me+4 it could be a chemical of sorts where it fertilized and implanted and then miscarried right away before it could even register but its making your period late.

Thanks so much everyone! I really didn't think this was my month and was already planning what I was going to drop for cycle #6 and #7 (the licorice root!) I've had zero signs this month except that my chart looked pretty similar to my chart with DS2's pregnancy. I have an appointment to get betas tomorrow morning.
