Maiden, really hope it works for you this month. You are such a wealth of knowledge... You'll have to peek into the 2ww forums still to answer our questions.

My temps are annoying me. My bbt dropped on Dpo 13 with just a bit of spotting, was back up over cover line dpo 14 with a little spotting last night but temp was back right down this morning. Who knows what is going on... I'm really getting over it.

I have to agree with the others... This is an amazing group with amazing people and I'm so grateful I stumbled across gender dreaming xxx

Good for you, xx, but I'm feeling sad and depressed. I've been trying as long as you. I'm just starting to accept that Junie and Maiden are right, it really hasn't been that long. I found info on a fertility center I know some friends used for IVF, and it turns out they do basic stuff which would be covered by our insurance, too. Their site says they do the "day 3 test" which is really the type of bloodwork check-up I had in mind, plus a SA of dh. So we will try there next, but then again, it hasn't been a full year and we don't have any of the real warning signs they say mean you should come in sooner. So my plan right now is try more acupuncture and learn more about the Creighton model, although I'm not optimistic about that. If we still don't have a bfp in a couple of months (I will go by 12 attempts rather than months!), I will totally be calling this place and getting the check-ups I want, what I had thought I would get underway this week.

Chin up SageViolet! I am hoping we get our BFPs soon and move on from this holding pattern! I am not sure how I will react if I ever get a BFP. I'll probably be in a state of disbelief and buy several different types of tests, because I'll doubt it could be positive!

Well at least we have each other- you ladies on this forum help tremendously!

Sorry to hear some of you are finding this ttc path hard. Hopefully this month is a great month for us!
I'm 2dpo I believe so on to the waiting. I feel hopeful this cycle. We BD right near O where as past cycles I think we may have stopped BD before I Od.

maiden~ I go off of my body's signs alone. I always get a migraine about 48 hours before, 3 days of ewcm, day after I get the VERY sharp pains for about 30 minutes, back pain with it, then I go dry and my uterus/ovaries are tender and back still hurts, then another migraine 24 hours later. AND I'm a raging b!tch over those 72 hours. lol. Every month (not pregnant or first year of nursing) for the last 20 years. Its pretty easy to know when I start ovulating again after a baby. lol.

Maiden- you have had quite the journey. How did you decide you cut off for TTC? Based on emotional stress or the availability of your doner? Either way, seems stressful. I hope you are doing alright. You always seem to be in good spirit on here.
Xx- what is was a miss with your blood work?
I had some blood work done back in September and all came back fine. My doctor had told me age doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it( I'm only 30), but he offered meds if I wasn't pregnant in 6 months. Then I had that shot that screwed everything up. We sat in his office beginning of Jan and went over the last 8 or 9 months of cycles(which luckily I'd kept track of). And how easily I'd gotten pregnant with my first 2. He came to the conclusion that I may only be O ing 1/2 the time, even though I'm getting all the right signals and pos OPKs.
He felt comfortable enough, I suppose, putting me on meds. He also knew I was anxious to TTC.
I just find it very odd for us or people like us to be putting SO much work and effort into making a baby and for it to not happen in a certain amount of time. I find it crazy that all this temping, timed sex and opks would not yield a pregnancy within 3 months, 4 MAX!
I can't help but feel like I very much need medicine to even me out and help me out this time. It's so bizarre.
I also had a bit of a freak out today when I realized if I O on day 18 or so of my cycle this month, and we're lucky enough to get pregnant, my EDD would be 1st week of December! WHAT?!?!?!? This is my last shot at a 2015 baby! It breaks my heart to think if I don't conceive this month it's likely to be a year from now that I may have my baby:(

I'm in a really tough place mentally right now. I have focused all my time and effort for 6 months ttc. Getting pregnant, loosing it and now ttc again and I am an emotional atomic bomb. My dr. upped my clomid to 100 this cycle, but I don't even know if I'm going to take it. I have been religiously doing 70-85 min of cardio a day, I have maybe missed 2 days since the beginning of the year, kept on top of the le diet and still have managed to gain 5 pounds... It's got to be the clomid, it just doesn't add up.

Good luck to everyone, I haven't had the time to read through all the posts in the past few days and now I feel really out of the loop. I wish you all Bfp's!!!

I am sorry Tarasue:( That is no good. Sounds like your doing everything right. I wouldn't sweat that extra weight. Who knows it may work in your favor. My doc suggested I gain 5 lbs when he saw me in sept. He told me 5 lbs can go a long way in fertility.
Having AF show is the worst reminder. I can only imagine what it would feel like after a mc. I feel so sad for all of you that have experienced that amd it makes me scared that if I'm lucky enough to get pregnant I will also miscarry.
Sorry I don't have much advice. I'm feeling low as well. We need a serious turn around in this group or we'll need to change it from the 2ww group to the forever wait group. Start our own long term support group! Xoxo all, good night!

Sage, a CD3 workup is exactly what the dr should have done. I hope you find someone good at that fertility center.

EJ, I can't risk giving birth in Jan or Feb (very bad time of the year for me, I'd be at high risk for PPD) and after 2 more cycles it'll be a full year on the diet, 9 months TTC! So I will just need a break. And to possibly find another donor which is a trial as I am very picky. I would love to have the plumber here this morning service me (or just give me a donation in a cup)...but how do I even ask that? Plus I'd have to ask in German and mine is far from perfect. I especially don't know the slang.

My mother had me at 36 and my whole life I've been angry she had me so late, I ALWAYS wanted kids young, in my 20s, now I feel like I am doomed to repeat my mother's life and my birthday is in March...:(

Sage- I'm glad you have a place to head to if the next few cycles don't work. If you are really worried you could always try calling them now, explaining your situation and seeing if they would let you come in earlier.

Maiden- I hope this cycle works for you! The pressure regarding timing makes this whole process harder. It looks like you haven't O'd yet?

EmJ- I'm sorry you are feeling down. I really hope this cycle brings you your 2015 baby :)

Tarasue- I think maybe your body needs that 5 pounds to get pregnant. I wouldn't drop the clomid and I would try to have high hopes for this cycle. I think sometimes it pays to be a bit less strict on certain aspects of the sway especially if you are starting to get down about it.

Sunbuny- I wish your temps had gone back up and stayed up!

XX- I'm looking forward to seeing your temp this morning!

AFM- Temps still low. I'll do an OPK later today and hopefully it will be a bit darker. I would really love to have a chance this cycle. My chart actually looks really similar to my chart with son#2. I did a chart overlay (current cycle is purple) and it gives me hope that I could possibly O in the next 3 days. We also thankfully did end up BDing last night even though I had a bit too much to drink and got a headache. Which I was very happy about!

Nope was hoping to see a temp rise this morning but didn't happen. I would like to attempt again but we'll see if it's possible.

This is EXACTLY what happened last time I went off Vitex...O occured on CD22 the following cycle. I'm on CD22 today! And I did have finally get a blaring OPK and Peak yesterday. I had bad O pain last night, too. Grr.

Maybe I will conceive with my one O-4 attempt. But like XX I can't even imagine a BFP at this point.

Junie, your chart IS strikingly similar. Based on that you should O tomorrow. Come on eggy!

I tested today, just for fun really since I'm only 7dpo. Unsurprisingly negative. lol

Been having issues I only seem to have when hugely pregnant, but none of my usual early signs. Bear in mind I shocked a dr. once when I told him I was pregnant, but needed an official test. He thought I was bonkers when he asked me how late my period was & I told him it wasn't due yet. Test was positive.(that was ds2).

90+% of me thinks I am & is just hoping it's a girl. The rest of me thinks that it's so unlikely as to be impossible, on both fronts.

Oh no tarasue! I was so optimistic for you this cycle- and the next! Don't give up, I know exactly how you are feeling, like this journey has been long enough and with the loss thrown in there, it so difficult to find any strength to move forward and keep trying. I am sending you a big hug[emoji169]

Emilee, *hugs*. Several times in my life I have had to surrender my own timeline ideas to follow God's timeline (or whatever higher power you believe in), and His planning is usually better anyway even though I can't understand why at the time. I am curious what type of dr you went to see?

Tarasue, at least you know you can get pregnant. Keep trying and a bean is bound to stick around sooner or later! I had 2 periods after my early m/c (5-1/2 weeks) and then a bfp. I wouldn't sweat the 5lbs, or rather maybe you will in warmer weather. Isn't that in the range for water weight? It's not much, not worth the worry. It's probably from the m/c.

Maiden, *hugs*! If I remember, you had other reasons to be mad at your mother besides her age. I know 2 separate women who had their first at age 40, and turned out to be great moms. I think it keeps them young. That said, I hope to be done much sooner, but that's because of the extra risks in pregnancy and newborn nights. Your child will not hate you just because of your age. Blame them for not showing up sooner, lol!

Junie, your chart looks good! It's interesting to compare and see how you get that early peak. Does that happen every cycle?

My update: What's going on with my temp?! I didn't expect a rise until Sunday. It's very predictable, opk+ then 2 days later the rise. Maybe my changes this cycle did something? Maybe this change is what we need for a bfp? Or maybe our bding is off now since it was so close. How much time do the swimmers need to get up there? I can't blame this on sleep because dd has been sleeping amazingly well. Your thoughts?

And I just want to add how much I love this group. You're all so supportive and sweet. And give me much more info than that dr did! I love each one of you and hope we all get our babies soon <3

Maiden- I think you're right. I had EWCM finally! So hoping this is it! I hope it is possible for you to attempt again so you have better chances for your BFP!
Blue- I think you should trust your instincts! Hopefully you get two lines in a few days!
Sage- To me that temp jump is great!! Plus your timing is so boyfriendly!! I hope you get a nice big BFP in a little bit.

So I'm thrilled that it looks like I will O today or tomorrow and DH and I will have a chance this cycle, but I have to admit I feel like I have already been waiting SO long that it sucks to have to wait at least another week and a half to know if this cycle will be a bust or not. Does anyone have any good strategies for dealing with all the waiting?

Junie the best way I deal with waiting is staying off the forum and focusing on something else-anything! Baking, shopping- whatever!

I know for me, and many others after miscarriage, your "cycle" can be very, very screwed up. I had what I thought was O pains and was definitely EWCM about 3 weeks after my loss and AF showed up a few days later.
I want to help prepare you for the worst- but I am hoping for the best for you! It can and does happen and I hope you are one of the lucky ones to prove it;)

Well I am hoping that one of you ladies will get a BFP!

AF showed up for me too. It looks like I am cycling with Tarasue. My cycles have gone back to what they were before having kids- 23-28 day cycles with 24-26 being the average. I also am having NO PMS, which is great and contribute to acupuncture as well. I am taking this as a FANTASTIC sign that this ship is getting turned around! I am surprisingly at peace with this and am looking forward to changing some things up a bit for this cycle.

GL to those waiting to test! I am selfishly hoping one of you at least gets a BFP so you can pass me some of your leftover baby dust [emoji6]

This is my first 2WW since being off BC in October! I, of course, made an appointment with an OBGYN on Monday after a 120+CD and sure enough that ended up being the day I think I O'ed. I'm still going to go next week just to get some tests done and talk to them about it. I'm hoping that it was just coming off my Seasonale BC that caused the delayed O. I don't think we BD'ed nearly enough to be in the running for a BFP, but I'm just excited to finally be in 2WW!

I also had a big dip yesterday, but I'm thinking it might have been Corpus Leutum dip? Anyone else experience this?

I have experienced a temp dip after O but it is above the coverline still. My temp usually doesn't drop below the coverline until CD2 or CD3 for me though.

I think I'm going to o soon, not sure yet when our next attempt will be- either tonight or tomorrow, can't make up my mind: If it's tonight , I'll be worried that it's only three days since our previous BD. But if it's tomorrow then I'll be worried that it's too close to o and might be too late....wish I had that crystal ball ;) guess I'll just leave it up to chance and if the boys go to sleep early it will be today, otherwise- tomorrow.

I just realized that I am set to O on or during the New Moon this month! Looking back through my old charts, I Oed during the Full Moon with both boys. Not sure if it sways much though.

I'll take all the help I can get [emoji1]!

I would have an attempt. 3 days is still good and if it were me, I would want to catch the egg! You'll make the right decision. Just promise me that once you make up your mind, don't look back even if it doesn't work out. Ttcing is hard enough without us beating ourselves up for trying to do our best!

blueeyedguys, I hope you are indeed pregnant! You could get a BFP starting tomorrow, fx. With my last pregnancy I knew I was pregnant with twins from implantation onwards so I'm a big believer in intuition.

fivebabies, I can't imagine having multiple migraines EVERY cycle, wow. How do you stand it? I get migraines in some of my hyper O cycles but they are usually mild and certainly not every month. Do you have meds you can take to help?

sage, I'm not worried that my kids will blame me for having them later, I'm just angry at myself/the world bc I think it's better to have kids young for MANY reasons, including health reasons as mentioned, also so my kids can have living grandparents, cousins close in age, (I had neither) and not a big generation gap with me. My dad was even older, 47, when I was born. And I have a 7 year younger brother. Yes, I had many jssues with my mom but the having kids young thing goes way beyond that snd always had. I also really wanted a big family - for years I dreamed of 12 kids, then later I decided 6 was more reasonable...now I'll be lucky if I can manage 4. Plus I want to BF for as long as each child wants which I might not be able to do if I want to have several children as soon as possible. It's my whole number one life dream being messed up. Of course, being widowed and rapidly & abruptly crippled have posed/still pose major obstacles.

Enough about me...that temp rise does seem to indicate you Oed. Do you think you definitely did or could it be a fluke like my one temp early this cycle? Is there any reason that temp might be less than reliable? As for how long sperm take to reach your reproductive tract, that happens in seconds to minutes. The bigger issue is that sperm cannot fertilize an egg until they capicitate, and that process takes several hours (maybe 6 on average but potentially up to 12 hours depending on various factors). I am worried about the same thing, bc I think I Oed early this morning but I didn't attempt until 8 pm, and generally the egg is only viable for 12 hours (if even that). Fingers crossed we both catch our eggs! Will you be testing early or waiting for AF?

Junie, do you get O pain that seems to usually coincide with O, or any other symptoms that help you pinpoint O during or after the fact? I did attempt again today but I think I Oed 12 hours before so not thrilled with my chances. I'm still glad I tried. I also have found my cycle (for multiple months, in fact) was pretty weird/messed up after my loss.

TaytumJ, I hate to say it but I'm not sure you've Oed considering that big temp drop & the subtlety of your temp shift. I'll comment in more detail in your thread. I hope I'm wrong to doubt it though.

Ladies, I had another true positive today but it's definitely lightercthsn yesterday's, no longer blaring. I think I Oed around 8am at the latesr and unfortunately didn't attempt again until 8pm (plumber was here all morning then I was waiting all afternoon for heating oil delivery that came 5 hours late with no communication!). I can't believe both my attempts were so poorly timed this month. Also, 4.5 days apart. I did however have some strong left ovary twinges in the early afternoon so I have a teensy bit of hope that maybe I released an egg from my left as well as the earlier egg from my right. I rarely O from the left but my last pregnancy the girl twin was from an egg my left ovary. All other pregnancies the egg came from my right. But most likely I won't get a chance to conceive this cycle I think.

Grace, have you had a positive OPK or almost positive? I hope you do O soon so we're O bddies. I'd do 3.5 days since last attempt if you're unsure of when to attempt again.

XX, I think Oing on a New Moon does significantly (at least) sway pink and at least one study demonstrated that it sways pink strongly (with a large majority of NM babies being girls). Full Moon only very slightly sways blue on the flipside. Fx that's why your cycles have been shortening so as to align O with the NM so as to conceive then. Unfortunately my past 3 cycles have very clearly been shifting to align with the FM. But I know/hope it's not a huge deal. I'm more worried about my snacking/very weak fasting the past week. I've been SO hungry lately, often sick to my stomach even.

I agree mommymachine's chart is amazing - I've been eyeing it for several days - but I think she is not yet TTC, correct me if I'm wrong?

Junie, I recommend reading some totally engrossing, utterly compelling, long winded and/or lengthy series...like Game of Thrones, the Hollows/Rachel Morgan series, or the Dark Secrets books by A. M. Hudson. Those are high fantasy, urban fantasy and paranormal romance, respectively. Ooh or the Outlander series is great for historical romance. What do you like to read? Or you could watch a season or two of a great TV show; if you tell me your preferences I can make suggestions. :) Those are the most effective ways I know of to make the TWW pass more quickly!

Outlander is fantastic!!!! My fav by far.

And the new moon thing freaks me out. I believe it sways pink-I conceived my angel dd in a new moon. Now I am back to ovulating around the full moon and if this cycle I get a BFP I will be obsessed with the thought of the bloody moon and its ability to ruin a half assed post loss sway. I will always blame this factor if I get an opposite. If I even get a BFP!!!!

Maidentomother, I was worried about that after such a steep drop. [emoji17] I'm hoping that maybe it was more because of a restless night's sleep? I tossed and turned and woke up early then went back to sleep. Any way that could mess with it?

Junie, I just started the podcast Serial (Serial) and I am hooked! It definitely helps pass the time and take my mind off a lot of other things. I've also been listening while walking on the treadmill.

We had our attempt last night! The way I see it is that if I o on cd11-12 , then our attempt from cd7 is probably meaningless, especially with me being so very dry down there, so an attempt on cd10 seems good, even if that makes it only 3 days between attempts. Now all I can do is wait and wait and wait.... and hope these will be my last couple of weeks on LE diet !

Maiden- I read the first 3 or 4 game of thrones but it got a bit too depressing for my taste so I stopped. I loved the first Outlander but don't like "soapy" type books (in terms of once a couple comes together I want them to stay together I don't want to read 6 books of obstacles being thrown in their way- just not my taste), Dark Secrets sounds sort of interesting but I can't stand love triangles!, sounds like that is an issue in the Hollows books as well. But you are right a good book is just what I need! I like fantasy, paranormal romance, sci-fi- but I can be a bit picky :D

Taytum- I would want to wait for a few more days of temps before deciding if you have Od or not. Serial sounds very good!

I've had another low temp and DH and I had our last BD attempt last night. Now I just have to hope I O soon, or otherwise try to move on for this cycle. I'm really down at the moment. I've lost 4 months to the miscarriage when you also consider that TTC cycle and now it looks like if I do ever O my H won't even be in town. Long cycles can be so depressing. I mean people will have finished a whole cycle before I even O (if I ever do). I'm trying to just focus on the future and present but it would be a lot easier if I felt like I even had a chance of getting pregnant. I also have tons of pregnancy and O signs all the time due to the miscarriage, which is depressing and makes it hard to know if anything is actually going to happen this cycle. Sorry for the poor me post ladies, just had to vent.

I had a 97.68 temp this AM. Still above cover line but not very high. [emoji17] I feel your frustration. If this isn't an actual O I'll be so upset. I'm actually on cd126, but marked this cycle as CD1 on the first day of light dark brown spotting because I just mentally HAD to see a new chart with a clean slate.

I don't know much about miscarriages, but I am really sorry for your loss and I can completely understand all the emotions you're going through. I think you're completely entitled to a vent, and more. I hope that the light at the end of the tunnel shines through for you soon!

Just2boys, you read how I wrote FM doesn't really sway blue? The vast majority of all babies are conceived on/near FMs. Definitely not woryh stressing about.

TaytumJ, restless sleep should artificially RAISE, not lower, your temp. Plus, your post O temps are not well above your Pre ao temps AND they've been stagnant. Temps should be increasing overall during the first 7-10 days of the LP, at least. Yours aren't. :/ I do totally get starting a new cycle and really, you don't need more than 2w of temps before O to get the overall picture.

Junie, while I haven't had a loss as late as you, I've had more long cycles this past year than ever before, due to Vitex mostly I think. I HATE Oing in the CD20s. So I understand your frustration. Fx your last attempt is all you end up needing.

I wouldn't call Outlander soapy (and I do know what you mean), as the couple do stay together really. Keep reading! I highly doubt you will be regret doing so. The Hollows books do NOT have a love triangle. There is definite romantic confusion, bc Rachel is immature, but no love triangles. I also despise love triangles, btw, however I DO like true polyamory. Dark Secrets is YA and probably what you would consider soapy, but I found it just crazy addictive. A guilty pleasure. Like how some people talk about Twilight, but far better (I am not a Twilight fan). It is pretty melodramatic and there are love triangles on and off but I could handle them bc to me it was always clear ons guy had her heart always.
