Tfahn..any chance you are getting a positive OPK because you are picking up HCG?? What day do you normally ovulate? How many DPO do YOU think you are and most importantly if you could be 10 DPO+.. have you tested with a pregnancy test? :X

I can't read you chart as easily as I can others.. it's probably my fault my brain is total garbage ATM... it just looks different to other FF charts but maybe you have it in a different mode or something.. I am thinking you may want to pee on a pregnancy stick...

Way ahead of you Burakoam, tried an IC and a FRER this morning and both were negative :) I normally ovulate anywhere from CD 14-18. 2 months ago I was on the pill for about 12 days when I thought I was going to do IVF, we changed our minds. I stopped the pill mid pack and 4 days later had my withdrawal bleed from the pills. The next cycle was short, 24 days, but FF gave me CH and said I ovulated but only had a 8 day LP. And now I'm onto this LOOONNGGG cycle and really I don't think I ovulated yet since my temps have not stayed in the post O range at all. Prior to the pill month I was on fertility treatments for about 10 cycles, so maybe my body is just taking time to get back to normal.

Tfahn for what it's worth to perk you up a bit.. June 2016 I didn't ovulate either or bleed.. i just kept going up there in cycle days until I was pregnant the following ovulation in July.. its long and tedious but keep looking for your signs and do your BD pattern with hubby.. something will give eventually wether you bleed or get a positive test :)

Alright, so my temps went up today (not sure how as I was freezing and shivering), but I may discard it because I didn't get 3 full hours of sleep after I woke up for the toilet. I tested and still BFN. Gonna give it 2 more days. I'll be 16DPO in 2 days and that is also AF's new due date. :think:

Thanks Burakoam. I was looking at charts yesterday with late ovulation in Fertility Friend and there did seem to be a lot of them that ended up with a BFP so I guess I will just go back to EOD BD until I see a temp shift, get a BFP or AF.

Don't despair yet! With my DS2, I felt pregnant but couldn't get a positive on a hpt until I was 21dpo!! I had delayed ovulation that cycle, so I was sure of my O date. He was also a late implanter as well.

I'm holding onto hope for you!!!

My Ovulation Chart

Hi ladies! I know I'm new here, but don't really know where else to wait and share... Temp stayed at 98.2 today, but I woke up with cramps and tested to get another BFN. Really disheartening... I had pretty close to zero CM this cycle (maybe from changing up my diet and adding more acidic things like wine, diet cokes, etc.)...could that have been the problem?

Had a lower temp this morning.. I think I am out. But I have been getting extreme headaches the past 2 days and I've been using peppermint oil at night on my head to combat. I'm wondering if that along with me getting up multiple times (bc of it) a night might be causing lower temp?
AF is due today.. I didn't test this morning bc yesterday was bfn on cheapie.

The temp itself isn't going to tell anything unless it is higher than your normal temp at this stage, but even then, you'd need to get towards the very end of you LP to make anything of it. If you are aiming for girl, then you want a more hostile environment so less CM is a good thing in this case.

I can relate to the disheartening BFN. I've been getting those for a good while now. Hang in there, it is only a matter of time and you'll know. :)

Awww <3 I know the feeling. Did the temp drop below your coverline? If not, then don't worry about it. Getting up multiple times will affect temps for sure.

When you are in FF, find the "sharing" button and in sharing find "code", then choose thumbnail. :)

Maxim if I recall by adjusted ovulation you were 6DPo so today you are 7-8 DPO.. I think it's just too early to test yet him :) few more days should give you an accurate answer!

True, but woke up today with big AF like cramps and emotional, which typically means she's on her way... really praying your guess is right! 😔

I had awful cramps because of the bloating the week before my BFP. Hang in there.

AF showed... I'm out.
Sonohystogram in a few days now followed by this cycle being tracked by a fertility clinic. Hoping to get a trigger shot and clomid next cycle.
This will be cycle#5 for us.
So odd we are having such troubles npw. We conceived all other 3 children no more than 2 cycles.

IF this cycle of FF was right... today was dpo 11 so I think 11 days this one. But every other cycle so far it's been 14-15 at most. I'm not sure what's going on. Is 11 LP too short?

Yes, 11 is waaay short. Some women conceive like this but it really limits implantation. Was O confirmed? Do you have a chart I can look at?

I'm not sure FF had it right this month. Bc my high fever ran during the days I usually ovulate. I'm wondering if it just missed it bc i had to delete those temps bc they were high from fever.

11 day LP is NOT short at all and perfectly fine for an egg to implant. Anything less than 10 is considered short and most docs will not treat for a short LP unless it's less than 9.

FX that your appointment with your RE will give some answers.

My Ovulation Chart

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Compared to a 14-16 day LP, 11 is short. Implantation can take place as late as 12dpo so 1 day makes a difference. I'm not speaking from a main****** medicine perspective though and I didn't consider that kind of treatment when I made the suggestion :) The more time an egg has to burrow, the better chances of a successful pregnancy.


AFM, I feel very lightheaded today as well as crampy and kinda wishing I did things differently during my attempt. I was pretty certain I had O'd earlier so I got a bit more relaxed by CD20 lol. I really wish I could take my mind off this completely.

Sorry robin! My LP has always about 10/11 days since I started swaying. It's so annoying that TTC a girl makes it harder for us to conceive but at least we know the sway is doing something. Hugs!

Robin, I don't think an 11 day LP is short, either. I understand what Cosmosis is saying--who knows if that extra day might be the one that makes a difference--but 11 days should be enough for an average pregnancy to implant. I had a 9-day LP prior to getting a BFP and I still managed to conceive on the first cycle. Granted, everyone is different, but I wouldn't worry too much about 11 days.

I lost my urge to test LOL. All the BFN's turned me off, plus I'm down to 1 IC and 1 CBD. My temps are still up and I'm having some wild dreams with people I haven't seen in so many years. It's so weird! Kind of enjoying it haha.

I suppose I can test after the magical 17 temps above coverline. So on 18dpo, in 3 days.

How long does a chemical pregnancy take to do its thing? What symptoms should I be looking out for? I'm bracing myself for a BFN at 18dpo.

We will be testing at the same time, Cosmosis! I'll be 10dpo and having the desire/fear to test. I might chicken out and wait until 13dpo when AF is late.

A chemical should still give a positive pregnancy test to my knowledge so I don't think that's what's going on here. I think eggie popped for you later than you think and DPO is just really off. Have you ever had an ultrasound on the days you swear you ovulate? If not how do you know you ovulate quickly in your window vs the tail end of it? I swore a positive smiley meant I was going to ovulate any time yet it seems my egg pops 3 days after a solid the last two pregnancies. I doubt I'm a freak of nature so I am sure others have the same thing happen to them. So even with the temp rise I think entirely possible your egg popped 22-25. If baby is blue and not pink they do tend to take much longer to get a positive test with for some women.. who knows why

To answer your question about chemical pregnancies, they typically occur around the time AF is due (4-6weeks gestation).

FX you just have a late implanter!!

OMG don't even say that. I think I stopped using preseed by CD25. I doubt I O'd that late in the game though . I can't believe this kind of stuff happened during the cycle of our first attempt. How annoying.

No, I've never gotten an ultrasound to check for ovulation, I wouldn't doubt I O later and I don't personally believe that the dip we see on charts means O. It just doesn't add up with all the stories I've seen. I tend to get a big dip on the most painful day, so I was connecting them, but it could very well be the swelling up before popping out. I have never seen bloody discharge after O pain like I did this cycle, I got the bloody discharge on CD17, so 3 days after the dip :think:

I plan to start a thread to try and pinpoint my O day after I confirm BFP for dating purposes lol. I played around with my chart this morning and its just all over the place. I've never had a chart that slowly climbs like this.

Maxim something for you and cosmo to keep in mind is some women, not all, get implantation dips. I only see the one dip so far max... isn't that around adjust ovulation 8-9 DPO too? ;)
