I am on day 16. Still getting a high reading on digital opk but no lh surge yet! Still growing that egg I guess... wow this is the longest I feel like I've waited. Making me nervous bc this means my luteal phase will be shorter! I never go past 29 days in my cycle total.
With my daughter I ovulated day 12. Boy do I miss those days!

Good morning ladies! Starting to stress....CD15 and CBD still says low. My cheapie opk seems to be stuck at the same level/color also. Does that mean it might be an anovulatory month?! [emoji17]

No, it doesn't necessarily mean that. Eggs take a while to mature then pop :) My OPK's have also just gotten stuck at the same shade lol, it happens.
@robin, your LP won't necessarily be shorter. I (apparently) ovulated on CD 20 this past cycle, much later than usual and I still had a 15 day LP, so my cycle was longer than it has been in many years.
There's something about waiting for things to happen that slows them down. Ovulation doesn't seem to be an exception here :D

Maxim not uncommon to ovulate between cd 16-18. Remember that low can go to surge without a high reading. At this point I think you are worried more about not getting a high than a peak lol.. some women will also ovulate late and in the cd 20's. It all depends. Hang in there because stressing out too much about the egg can delay it too

I'm using regular digi's not advanced so I'm just waiting around lol. I'm kind of glad though, we BD'd two days in a row and we need that break for the swimmers so I'm a bit relieved and hoping I get my surge tomorrow night. That would be perfect.Quote:

I generally ovulate somewhere around cd17-21 so its not unusual for me at all. Im just getting impatient with each cycle! I have always had long cycles too & it was only since I have had my boys that they have been regular. Hang in there everyone.

They are waiting for results of blood work for the LH surge but dr said that it can drop now at any time!
She also confirmed that clomid or progesterone will be recommended next cycle.

Maxim- no. My test DID change it just never gave me the high reading even though it could/should have. Which was weird because they actually said clomid can give false high readings as clomid increases your estrogen and that's what the flashing smiley picks up is high levels of estrogen.
You may not get a high reading before you get the solid smiley. i wouldn't be stressing over the lack of change because you can and probably are delaying your O. Just know I conceived two perfectly healthy baby girls never getting a high reading. In reference to what I told Robin, with DD3 I was CD 18 and had low reading that whole cycle even while on clomid. Even that morning and I was ticked. I was concerned it wasn't working so they got me in for an ultrasound to check follies and I had one perfect and big follie. The doctor said I was going to ovulate any day because of how large it was and said to make sure I tested that night too. I distracted myself the best I could and my cousin came over and we drank (I was so convinced I wasn't going to ovulate at all..) and then before bed at about 9 that night I tested and BOOM solid smiley. I about fell over, no joke.. i ran into the living room and grabbed hubby and that's the story of DD3 lol...
It is possible the jager bombs relaxed me just enough to surge. Moral of the story... relax! Anyway that you see fit that will calm you and get your mind off of it. Despite the amount of jager ingested that night d3 was a perfectly healthy baby so it didn't harm my egg none though it was unintentionally I'm sure a heavy pink sway...
I don't know what I am having yet, but I never got a high reading before I got a solid smiley either. I had two days of positives on a Wondfo, followed by my solid smiley the second day of positive on a Wondfo.

Mind if I join you ladies? I've been ttc for just about 2 years (this is cycle 22). During that time I've had two miscarriages. For the last 5 cycles I tried using progesterone but it didn't help anything. This cycle I'm doing injectables. I'm really excited and hopeful that is what finally makes the difference! On Feb 2nd, I start taking birth control to stop my body from producing it's own hormones. Then I go in for an ultrasound on Feb 24th to see if I'm ready to start the injectables. I won't be testing until the middle of March but thought it might be nice to hang around in here and get/give support. :) I started out swaying girl but now I'm really just trying to get pregnant with a sticky bean. DH and I have come to terms with the potential for another boy. FX for everyone! It looks like a few of you will be having your attempts in the next few days. So exciting!! :)
Great to hear from you Momamia! I've been wondering how you have been getting along. I sure hope this does the trick to bring you your long awaited BFP!

Erin HCG will make that line darker than it should be this far in your cycle after a MC too.. are you sure all of the HCG is gone?

Afm, I had my attempts but still waiting for a temp rise tomorrow morning. Could've sworn I oed yesterday.... in any case looks like I have a 3-o and o day attempts so can write this cycle off 😂😂 but did the best we could between me being away 2 nights and dh doing 3 night shifts right at the crucial time too I think lol.

Erin I would keep testing just once a day to see if the line fades out or gets darker. If your still showing a pos frer then its very possible that's causing the darker line as Burakoam said. It could also mean af is coming as I got darker opks close to af starting.... hope you get some answers over the next few days.
