I can't officially join this conversation, but as for craving salt - don't sweat it yet! My first trimester with both girls all I wanted was salt - roman noodles to be specific, which are terrible for you but loaded with sodium. I think the sweet cravings come toward the end of pregnancy [emoji854] Just wanted to encourage y'all!Quote:

Sumbal you're referring to ramzi theory and it guesses gender from a scan taken between 6-8 weeks and is about as accurate as the chunese gender predictor 50/50. If you're doing for fun then go for it 😀 just do not put any stock at all in the result. The nub theory however is very accurate especially if your scan is taken close to the 13 week mark!! I'll be getting a scan at 7 weeks as 6 weeks may be too early to see a hb....

I laughed so much because I always say that though!!.😂😂😂 I turn 39 in just a few short weeks. Will be just after my 7 week scan I think! I'm going to ring my obs office on Monday to see if I need a new referral to see her and if so then I'll have to see a gp (my gp is away till June wah!) to get a referral for both my ob and 7w scan. What date is your 8 week scan again?

They usually do the scan with the first appointment but I rescheduled to get in sooner and have to see a different dr. I think she will still do it though. June 9th 8W4D

Just had a look and I'll be exactly 7w by lmp (7w2d by o) on the 31st May which is a Wednesday. My birthday is on that Friday. Should I get my scan done on my birthday??? I love the idea of seeing a healthy bean with an awesome hb on my bday and on the other hand if its bad news well it'll be a Friday at least and I'll have the weekend to deal with my emotions before Monday and life as usual rolls round again....

My first scan is booked on May 22nd. The 6 week mark. There will be another scan at the 14-16 mark. But the blood test should tell me gender before that last scan.

You may be first to find out gender too! I think I'm going team green it's my last chance for a surprise. I found out with ds2, the u/s tech slipped a 'his' at my scan after telling me to look away as she was going downstairs and when she did there was this loooong awkard silence and me and dh just looked at each other like 'oh no she did not just do that did she!!'
So who's interested in doing some ol wives gender tales tests? I've got quite a few up my sleeve!

Ash most of them are done between 8-10 weeks! But if your st the shop buy a pencil with an eraser at the top of it. Has to have an eraser as we'll be sticking a needle in it!! I still have mine set up needle string and all from last time I did this....

I was supposed to have my first scan yesterday (8 weeks!), but my ob called 45 minutes before my appointment and had to go deliver a baby. I've been rescheduled for Monday afternoon.
Oh my srg I'd be blowing up [emoji23] I'm way to impatient for that stuff!! I was schedule to be induced with ds1 and they called the morning of and said they needed to reschedule.... ummm NO

The wedding band one is done with a strand of your hair over belly and the pencil test is done with thread over wrist. I'll do up a list and with instructions when I get back from school drop off. Speaking of which I better get my kids up and moving :) I'll be back in a couple hours!
