That sounds like a wonderful plan!!!! You have wonderful boys and this one will be as well. He was meant to be in your family!

I honestly don't know? I have a Carter and a Cohen now. I'm not set of keeping with the "C" theme at all. I just want to love a name like I did these two.

I need to sort a boy name out too, what do you think of Conor (very popular in Ireland) or Callum xx

Some names Everett, Kyle, Andrew, Matthew, Corbin, Nicholas
I like Clark, Clayton, Corbin (We have a HOT mailman named Corbin, haha! He's very easy on the eyes), and Calvin. I also like Chance and Chase.

HUGS Roe! I know you wanted to hear girl but I think you are coping great and you have your trip to distract for a few days.
I plan on telling the boys tomorrow with a little scavenger hunt. I know DS1 will be excited to hear the news and DS2 will be excited and then just go about his day lol! Then I play on telling the rest of the family at Easter dinner. I'm going to make baskets for our mothers and put the US pic in a chick shaped Easter egg. I know my MIL will be thrilled and my mom will be impartial about it until the baby gets here lol.
Congratulations Roe on your healthy baby boy! Wishing you an easy rest of your pregnancy and an even easier birth! Happy to hear your baby is healthy..
Ooh! I forgot about Callum! I taught a sweet boy named Callum! Super smart- he got accepted into Cornell University to study Chemistry. He still keeps in touch with me (I was his Chemistry teacher)!

Toe you are doing amazing!! Your positive attitude it setting the tone for the rest of the group who might not hear their DG. So way to go!! You are amazing!! Know we are here for you in any and all ways. Praise God for a healthy miracle!!! My friend loves C names with her boys. I know you aren't set on it but her boys' names are really unique and all places in Ireland. They are pregnant with their 4th, a surprise, so I can't wait to hear their name... Cashel "Cash", Camper and Corban.
Today we finally told our family! They are excited. Shared our photos from decorating eggs with the girls and among the pics was this...
feels so good to have shared.

Not sure why it didn't post... and I agree, I too always just wanted to be a boy mom. Well two boys and 1 girl... I have two girls so we will see what happens, but Roe you are handling the news wayyyyy better than I did with my two girls. Seriously you are awesome! Keep it up
Fun way of telling everyone xxx
I feel strange like now I know I'm going to find out what I'm having soon, I suddenly don't have any symptoms [emoji50] like before I was picking up on any girl symptoms etc and now nothing, nada!!!! Maybe I'm preparing for the obvious [emoji32]
[emoji170][emoji170][emoji170][emoji170]
Im the same ladytara im pretty doubtfull now...i just feel like even though i probably want a girl more than anyone else in my family my hubby n kids and mum will also be so disappointed..im more worried about telling them its another boy...just so much stress right now i cant start to enjoy being pregnant until the harmony results x
Ugh. There isn't anything worse then family and friends confirming your worst nightmare that you're unborn child should already be mixed with disappointment! I mean, in the grand scheme of things the gender really doesn't effect them that greatly, nothing like it will the parents. (If it really should affect even us is up for debate in my mind 24/7) [emoji38]
But anyway, I remember the expression on my MILs face when she opened her gift with the blue, signifying her grandchild would be a boy. I expected her to be thrilled. Her expression read: yeah, been there done that."
She has 2 boys only herself.
It only confirmed my depression and anguish. Not to mention then her other son's wife then immediately got pregnant and ONLY would hear of it being a girl and viola, that's what she gets. And the way our MIL favors her is crushing.
Anyway, now I'm just ranting. My point is I wish family would just smile and keep those thought private. When my friends or family announce their 4th or 5th boy or whatever, I treat it the exact same way as any other blessing. My feelings shouldn't matter.
Rant over.
I pray I can deal with this better this time around.

I couldn't agree with you more, Wantanother! Since when did having a baby become anything other than a blessing? I remember announcing that we were having DS3, and that he was a he (we found out early with MaterniT21). Most family member laughed or made comments about us only making boys. You could see the sting of their comments in my DH's eyes. I always followed up with how excited we were, which caused people to stop with their comments. It would infuriate me if people treated my boys differently. I would have to keep visits supervised only and leave if I felt the person was going too far.
I hope and pray that this time will be different for you. GD is hard enough without family and friends fueling it. 🤞🏻[emoji1317][emoji175]

I've announced to a few nearest and dearest recently and the comments came rolling in just as I'd expected them to...sigh. I feel like I wanted a girl because I felt pressured that I should have one as daft as that sounds...in the grand scheme of things now that I've unexpectedly become pregnant I realise that as much as I'd like a daughter I wouldn't mind another son either...but people don't seem able to grasp that and so the gender comments keep rolling in!
Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on here in a few weeks. I've been feeling pretty down lately. Having a hard time getting excited for this pregnancy because i don't really "feel" pregnant a lot of the time, and I'm still worried I will miscarry. I am also convinced we're having our third boy, although I know I'm being silly as I have no way to know this yet. I thought I didn't care that much about gender anymore, but I just feel like I'm in a mental rut now for some reason. Actually, it kind of makes me feel better to see that a lot of you have posted about feeling the same way (not that I want anyone to feel this way, but at least it means I'm not crazy).
Shanshaff, I'm so glad to see you saw a heartbeat and everything is ok! I was wondering if there had been an update from you since I last checked in. Roe, sorry you didn't hear pink. XX, huge belated congrats, although it sounded like it was practically a sure thing since that nub shot. :)
My fear exactly and it's happened for my last 3 out of 4 pregnancies!
On a different subject I've noticed my hair is still coming out after shower/brushing!!! Pregnancy usually stops all hair falling out I recall. I'm a little worried I think I will get my thyroid checked again as I'm hypothyroid but wanted to know if anyone else here has same symptom? I'm now 10 weeks 4 days
[emoji170][emoji170][emoji170][emoji170]
I've always continued to "shed" as much as I usually do during pregnancy.
Mines staying put. Way less shedding

We told our kids this weekend and some close family. Kids are thrilled.
My families comments were
"Wow 4 kids.. wow" and "what are you hoping for this time?".
Yes thank you ... I know I am a crazy woman for having more than the "2" kid norm.
And we are hoping for a healthy baby to complete our family!
Although they were all happy for us.. the comments are hard.
I dread announcing on social media now bc of the back lash I'll get for the amount of kids we have.
But having said that.. I love the idea of a big family. I'll have the big kids and the little kids. I am beyond excited for this journey of mine.

I'm sorry your family wasn't super supportive, Robin. I'm dreading telling mine, I feel like they think three kids is only a hair short of a whole three ring circus.
I'm sorry those comments would be so hard! I love the idea of a big family. But the more I have the more it puts my body through.. :(

I haven't noticed anything with my hair, but I only have low thyroid when I'm pregnant. Really strange but it happened with my last pregnancy, and now this time around. It is so much better to be safe then sorry so be sure to mention that to your OB/midwife. They test my thyroid every 4 weeks.
Oh I got a lot of the wow comments too and please God it's a girl this time and my mum going around telling everyone she's definitely having a girl this time, it has to be!!! 😠
As for social media I share less and less now then I use to and definitely won't be sharing my news on Facebook ... I like to go on for a noisey every now and again but keep my business to myself.

So question... did you guys do the harmony testing or panorama? I have both options here. Harmony is $50 cheaper but I'll have to drive out if town to another city for it. Curious if they are all the same turn around time and how the results are delivered? I am not going to my general Dr as I am with a fertility clinic and then with a midwife come may... who gets the results? Do they phone me with them? Do they ask me who to report results to when I go in to lan for blood work?
Sorry for so many questions just trying to figure it out
