(((Huge Hugs))) Julesbwn! I agree with 1pinkplease that it doesn't sound they were very confident in their guess on gender. You mentioned the cord was in the way earlier and what they *think* they may have seen could have been cord interference too.
When is your next scan?

Also have y'all started to think of names? I have always struggled with names but I am like 75% sure I have her name picked out already. Is this crazy?!
I am not going to tell anyone on social media except very select close friends bc I am scared of other people stealing it 😂
Pathetic I know... but it's happened where they had the baby first and used my name I had told them.

Our girls name is pretty set in stone, but only one person knows we are considering it and we won't announce it until the baby is born. I'm undecided on boys names.

I'm stumped for girls names! I've got a boys name picked out that I absolutely love
I chose names before my BFP cycle :)
We had 2 boy names that we picked out, but so far we have definitely decided on a middle name. We have 2 first name picks that we like real well, but we are still looking.

Both of my boys go by a "C" name, and the girl's name we have picked out is a C name too. I feel a little weird doing a totally different letter for a third boy, although the C's weren't intentional, just the names we liked.
I'm kind of overall worried about this baby being left out since my boys are about 20 months apart and this baby will be 3.5 years younger than DS2. I worry that DS1 and DS2 will continue doing the same activities, sharing friends, etc and this baby (especially if it's a boy) will get left out a lot.
They said to come back free on charge closer to 20 weeks.... its just so strange I really thought it was a girl.. Ive had HG in this pregnancy and had a bout of relief and then have very strong MS and am still sick up to this day. There was a lot of cord in the way in the first scan anx the second scan there was still cord but then I had a wriggle around and a cold glass of water and it moved the cord away. She did say 98% boy but told me not to be painting my nursery blue yet.. hmmm I dont know .... i thought i saw three lines in the first scan but the second when bub opened its legs it looked like there was something there .

Foxtrotmama There is 12 months between my first 2 boys and my 3rd didnt come along for another 3 years. They are now 12, 11 and 8 and the 3 of them are so close they do everything together, the 3 year gap doesn't seem to have made any difference.
so still early enough for a decent margin of error. Although on my last pregnancy i was told boy at 13+6 and really hoped they were wrong and it was just too early. I wish i could honestly say that i dont mind which gender we get in pregnancy but that would be a lie, however even with him being our 6th boy once he was born i fell head over heels in love and couldnt imagine life without him.
:nails: I am so nervous. I am going to call my dr & get my NIPT test results (hopefully) tomorrow. So nervous that something will be wrong more than GD! I have even called in sick to work tomorrow as I dont think I will be handle being at work & getting the call. Its midnight here & I am still awake so that doesnt help either! I am normally asleep by 8pm - Im just so tired normally, I havent really thought about it much all weekend & now here I am wide awake & stressed, I am going to be a wreck tomorrow. At least I can take the boys to school & have a nap after lunch. Wish me luck!
(((Huge Hugs))) kc! Know that we are here for you! [emoji1317]for a healthy baby and 🤞🏻for [emoji175]!!

I'll be 17 weeks tommorow can't believe the size of my bump which is worrying not to mention my massive boobs !! Feeling good though in this middle stage which is so nice - can't wait for my 22 week scan though just to double check she's really a she !!

I know what you mean, BB! It was good to get confirmation at my scan last week! I have my anatomy scan this Thursday- I'll be 19w5ds. It's hard to believe that I'm almost halfway to meeting her! I'm curious to see if she comes early. My DS2 came 8 days early and my DS3 came 12 days early. My doctor told me to stay around home starting the 2nd week of September!

I'm curious to see if I will go early this time around too. Knowing my luck, she will be over a week late like my DS1 [emoji23]!

Mine were both induced for medical reasons, so I have no idea how long I might go if that doesn't happen!

I was exactly 11 days early with both DS1 and DS2! Wondering if this little guy will follow his brothers' trend.

I am so jealous of all you ladies that go early. All 3 of mine so far have been late by at least 5 days 😐

Me too Robin! I've never gone 'early' yet (although really I believe that the baby comes when it's ready to come...our due dates are just an estimation!). Having said that I always expect to go at least a week past my due date and that's generally what happens!!
I'm just hoping and praying my water doesn't break early. I tend to not be very careful and last time I got out of bed too quickly and twisted in such a way where I just hear "pop" and that was it for us. DD was horizontal still, nowhere near engaged and knowing her personality now, she would have been VERY late. lol.
I am so tired. Worrying too much about the NIPT I didnt get any sleep last night. I am so glad I called in sick for work today. I will keep you ladies posted.
Kc, do you have increased risk factors for genetic conditions?

my age (37) & hubby has an uncle who has downs syndrome - but my OB didnt seem to think that counted much. Just being paranoid really after our miscarriage last year I think. Im more worried about a lot of things this time.
results are back & despite my best efforts it is another boy for me :DS: Not entirely sure how I feel right now. Happy that it is healthy but a little disappointed I guess. I tried really hard with the LE diet & the only thing I didnt do with my sway was the exercise as it just wasnt something that I could do. Worried that our autism odds are now higher too. It seems that I have definitely broken our LE lucky streak.
I'm so sorry that you didn't hear what you had hoped for, KC. Know that you're not alone. I broke our groups first amazing streak of DG [emoji17] I'm so happy to hear that your little guy is healthy. The autism part of it is difficult because you just don't know right away. When was your other son diagnosed? Don't forget, boys LOVE their momma [emoji170] ::hugs::

So sorry KC you didn't hear pink! I know, as so many here do as well, gender disappointment is a very real thing. Praying you have peace and adjust to the idea of a third boy quickly. Love to you and your family
