HI Princess mom! How are things going with your little girl? Did she do fine breathing on her own being born small and over 3 weeks early?

My midwife wouldn't do a stretch and sweep until 40weeks and baby was still sitting so high (my last 2 haven't dropped until I was ready to push) that she couldn't do the sweep. So it did nothing. Hoping today we have better luck. I'd rather not be pregnant till 42 weeks too. :(

Good luck today! I've checked and my cervix is already 1 cm, but baby hasn't really dropped, i can feel the head but it's not putting pressure on the cervix yet. What size of babies do you usually have?

The only time i had a sweep was 12 years ago with my 1st. they did at 38 weeks because i was already 2cms dilated at 36 weeks after that on other pregnancys they refused.
Raezodal i have been the same as that the last 3 too didn't drop until baby was well on their way.

Very little change from a week ago: baby still high, cervix long and firm, dilated 1cm stretchable to 1.5cm. Hah. But meant midwife was able to do a proper stretch and sweep. So wait and see if that does anything.
Otherwise, ultrasound and nst today to make sure all is well with baby. And induction tomorrow. Dh is away for the weekend with my oldest and midwife and I agreed this was a better choice than risking going into labour while he was gone.

I feel your pain both my boys came a 42 weeks first after 48 hours after a stretch and sweep my 3rd was at 42 weeks after having my waters broken.
