Happy Saturday night :) well it's Sunday night here in Australia now. I had 2 meals out and hit 1700, including 2 gin and tonics. Did one hour of spin though. Tomorrow is back to work so should be back on track :)

1700 calories are fine right? I think atomic says between 1500-1800 calories! So you're right on track in my opinion. Maybe you had too much fat due to eating out, but ey, as long as you are fine the rest of the days it's all good :)
Yep 1500-1800 is the standard. I go lower generally but only bc the weight wasn't really coming off. I guess had had a little weight to lose, bc im losing the 2-3 pounds a week now on the slightly lower cals. I usually come in around 1400.

I think the calories recommended on your custom plan would be different for everyone. I think I'm supposed to be closer to 1800 because I'm already a lower BMI and still breastfeeding.
Yes, I had a look and that range is ok. Went pretty well today, vege wrap for lunch, got home exhausted so ended up with take out again :( anyone got suggestions for freezable meals? I might try cooking on the weekend to avoid this!
When I conceived my little girl I ate loads of pasta with low fat cheese sauce. That could be easily frozen I think? I also intend to get a lot of vegetarian eggrolls and freeze them. They are low in calories and fat, lots of vegetebles and very filling. Oh and samosa's, love those! Just watch out for garlic, unions and other boy friendly foods.
I don't have a large freezer so I don't do a lot of freezer meals anymore - but on mega tired days canned veg soup and crackers is my go to. (Some people are anti salt but there are low sodium soups too). Also veg burgers take 5 mins on the grill and those uncle bens 90 second microwave rices. Those are my quick go to suggestions

Ok so does red meat always sway boy? Or is it fine if you stay under your fat and protein for the day? I'm thinking of having a burger for dinner tonight. I know cheat days are fine and believe me I've had plenty. Attachment 25420
I'm sure others will weigh in, but in my early LE days (lol) I ate burgers; but I have cut them the lAst month or so entirely bc I can't keep the fat and protein down. BUT if you can do it and stay in the limits then beef here and there can't possibly hurt.

In the UK we have mozzarella burgers and they are so nice. Even though I'm not on the diet anymore I still pick those over normal burgers.lol
