So sorry Kelbear!
Dreamsister, I'm moving onto injectables next cycle. I'm sick of waiting. I've been ttc since Mar 2015. I've had 2 miscarriages in that time. I've also tried Clomid and my RE says Femara won't do anything for me since I don't have PCOS. I just want to have a baby! The risks are about 20% that you could have a multiples pregnancy but you could let your doc know that you don't want multiples, so maybe they'll have you trigger with fewer follicles. I personally don't mind having twins. They run in my family, so they don't really scare me. You could also try more attempts in your fertile window before moving onto injectables. Only one attempt in your fertile window will definitely drastically reduce your odds of conception. Just some things to think about. :)

Congrats to everyone who got BFP's this cycle, I was taking a break from the boards this cycle but checking in occasionally to see how everyone was doing. Here is my two cents Dreamsister. :)
I would take the injectibles as even those don't give you any guarantees that you will become pregnant. I am about to turn 40 next month and have been trying for baby #2 since March 2015, I have had 1 miscarriage and 2 chemical pregnancies since starting fertility treatments in December. Clomid gave me weak ovulation and thin lining and had no BFP's while on it. I next moved onto Femara which I am told will make you ovulate if you have PCOS and if you already ovulate on your own it just boosts the amount of follicles per cycle (I do not have PCOS). 3 months ago, after 2 back to back chemicals, I started doing combo cycles of Femara, Gonfal F, trigger shot and progesterone supplements in the 2WW. So far no luck for me, although I did get 3 follicles this cycle but that doesn't mean you ovulate all 3, I will start testing tomorrow so fingers crossed this cycle works. If you really want another baby, I would try anything at this point but I am not really afraid of having twins since with my age this will be our last shot at having additional kids. (triplets on the other hand scare me :) ) Good luck in whatever you decide, hopefully Goldie the sticky egg appears soon for all of us.

AF found me, which wasn't really disappointing since I already had my BFN. Now to move forward with what to do next. I have an ultrasound scheduled tomorrow to check for cysts and the overall health of my girlie parts. I posted some questions in another thread if anyone can help with some guidance. Thanks.

tfan thanks for your two cents and taking time to answer my question. Wow you have also been on a long ttc-journey. I think you are right that I should try anything at this point. I think I will do the injectables (staring tomorrow night) and see what happens. I cross my fingers for you. Will you update in the 2ww October thread?

momamia4 - thank you for your opinion and story. Good point. How exciting you are moving onto injectables. Then we can be injectable-buddies :-) When do you start? And how much will you take?

Good luck Dreamsister. I think injectables are the way to go too. I hope it does the trick for you and we see a BFP for you in October.

AF just arrived for me too.

So sorry af arrived for you ladies, it is suçh a frustrating time x x

Sorry AF came, GirlieCat and Kelbear. :(
I've been almost entirely off the wagon this week and it's making me nervous. Expecting O around Monday, and I haven't exercised all week, haven't had any fibre/coffee/alcohol, and my diet has been just ok. I think we'll do this cycle couch potato and hope for the best, I'm too invested in TTC right now to not attempt.

Don't worry too much foxtrotmama as I think it is the overall pattern of less that is what sways, hopefully a week of no exercise won't make any difference and if you have still been doing the le diet even loosely with a few cheats you won't undo all your previous effort. Good luck, hope this is your month.
