Cvd you are so strong and have been so supportive that it hurts me the most to see that you didn't get your little girl. Ladies, I've had those thoughts too. When my friend had 2 boys and then gave birth to a girl, I felt like she'd hit the lottery. What are the chances that I could hit it too right after her?? I was jealous and convinced that since she got her girl, I wouldn't get mine. My DH kept reminding me that the contents of her uterus had no effect on the contents of mine. That's true here too, this collection of women in cyber space won't have any effect on each of you at home, from far flung nations. Neither will the fact that 3 of your friends are having girls. You've still got just as much chance as anyone else, and I'm crossing my fingers and toes for each of you. Try to remind yourselves that what other people have won't have any impact on what you're having. xx

Hello ladies sorry I havent checked in for a while Things are ok wit me - full of some nasty flu like bug that has really knocked me for 6 yet im still working with 8 kids from 7am-6pm each day and even tomorrow on my birthday too :-( Meant to be going for a meal sat night with my friends but not sure I will be up to it at this rate which is sad as some of them i havent seen for months though some I could really do without seeing if I am honest ( 2 best friends both pregnant with girls after having 1 son each the same time as I had ds3 ..... going to be talking about all the joys of pink shopping .... i might just chuck my paella at them both and blame hormones !!! ) Anyway aside from that Im great - My doppler arrived yesterday and we laid on the bed last night with all 3 boys listened to their hearts, our hearts then the babies heart - Ellis said it sounded like a train - how odd when we ahdnt even spoken about the train or horse theory but i think train means boy so he is probably right !!
I havent had time to read all the posts as there seems to be soooo many since I last properly had a read but I hope everyone is ok and I promise to try and be around more. x
PS Has anyone heard from MRS_P in the last few days - I know she had her scan on Tuesday and was really nervous but not seen anything from her since and she hasnt answered my messages. Fingers crossed everything is ok and her pc is just playing up or something.

i'm on the side of w/ all this girlee stuff going around maybe i'll get lucky too but I know i'll be happy either way. dh was sayign the other day that odds are in our favor like a coin you flip 3x heads your bound to get tails lol I told him i don't think it works that way w/ babies lol and 3 boys odds are in boy favor but i really am super cool w/ it. i did an easy fun sway nothing drastic so maybe that upped my odds 55-45 lol and that's how I look at it. I was trying to have a baby and knew that gender is really out of my control no matter how much i did to sway. hope everyone is able to be happy and find peace with whatever life brings them:)
Maple & Praying4Pink - Wow thanks for your kind words!!! That means a lot to me, I'm so glad to have all you ladies here to chat with and share everything with. I truly feel I was meant to have 2 boys. Although I'm a super girly girl myself, and was really looking forward to things like cheer leading and dance etc.. I am now looking forward to being a double hockey mom!! Man, I better upgrade my Jetta to a bigger vehicle soon lol
I can't wait to see pictures of your twin girls Maple, you're going to have sooo much fun shopping for them! They're going to have such a special bond
I think there is still plenty of pink to go around, don't lose hope yet ladies! There better be because you all need to make up for the leopard print and pink sparkles I I was hoping to buy lol!! I'm glad we've had a great streak of healthy babies too. Things have been going well for everyone!

cvd I am pretty girlie myself and I almost died when I found out I was having a boy the first time. But you definitely get used to it and I can crash cars and race cars like the best of them, lol. I can't imagine not having my son! I wouldn't trade that little bugger for anything in the world. I know you feel the same about your boys too!Quote:
