37 weeks! Term but... not. So beyond ready to meet this little one. It feels like I've been pregnant for about five years...!

Oh nearly, you are almost there. Hang in there. It feels like forever when your waiting, then looking back it is all a distant memory.

The bleeding from the IUD is better, but I'm still using multiple pantyliners every day. I think I'm going to get an appointment to take the IUD out next week.
Amelia- hang in there with the IUD, it took my body 2 months to get used to it, yes- bleeding or spotting for 2 months but then it's the best thing ever! Sorry to pop in on your thread but I stalk IUD issues, ha! Of course trust your body and talk to your doctor, but I did have the same thing.

Hi gwynn, thanks for the moral support. Two months! I won't survive. I am starting to think this is a sign that I shouldn't go HT and just be a normal person and sway. We already have our second choice name prepared if it turns out to be Baby Boy #2: Russell. For girls we have a list I am continually hehe.
Amelia, I had an IUD many years ago and it didn't work out for me either. I had it for 9 months and at one point I bled everyday for 6 weeks. For me it was more that I needed the daily hormones to keep me balanced since I have PCOS. I went back on the pill and all my issues went away and I had the IUD removed 2 months later.
I am now 7 weeks post pardum and I started the mini pill today. I wish I could go back on my old pill but can't while breast feeding.

39+4 today. I find this particular gestation very frustrating, because this was when son #2 decided to grace us with his presence... and then son #3 just kept going, and unless little missy gets her baby butt into gear (it's currently 8:23am here), it looks like we'll be sailing past today as well. I know it's dumb, but I get to this point and I'm like, come on baby, your brother was here by now! What's keeping you? Hopefully not too much longer. I have two very impatient little boys who are desperate to meet their little sister (and one who couldn't care less, but he's two, so that's not surprising). Never mind Mummy who just wants to see her toes again :P
I'm right there with you Hun! (My boys had made their appearance by now too). Hopefully the wait won't be too much longer for either of us xxx
Delighted to announce that our sweet little girl who is definitely a girl(!) arrived 48 hours ago on her due date, August 28, weighing 8lbs 7oz, beautiful and healthy. I'm ridiculously in love and I can't believe that this perfect little person is my baby. I can't stop staring at her. I can't believe I have a daughter. It feels so surreal! My boys are besotted and even Master 2 is impressed (when he's not pretending to eat her, lol). The birth went really well and we were home by the afternoon. I feel so blessed that everything has been amazing <3
