Welcome back Fiya sounds like you had a lovely time, you have a beautiful baby bump [emoji4]
Hopper that's so cute how your DS 1 is about the baby. My DS1 is similar and I just love it also x
AFM, baby is getting stronger with its movements/kicks each day. By the end of the week I'm getting quite tired but otherwise feeling good :)
Boyz, missiz I was just looking at the updated stats and noticed you guys are on it but I'm not, is there something extra we need to fill in besides our sway attempt?
Hopper its actually quite nice having them close together. I have the older 2 that help out so its certainly made having 3 close together somewhat manageable.
Its a busy household but noisy and lovely at the same time 😂😂

Hope everyone is doing well! Who besides Luvmyfam is due for their anatomy scan soon??
I had a fun 3D/4D ultrasound 2 days ago. Here is my favourite picture. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...8907c75bca.jpg

Gorgeous pic mommy, I love seeing the comparisons of these pics with baby's face once they are born [emoji4]
My anatomy scan is in around 2 wks
@Mommy: that's such a cute pic. She's a beauty. I see now why you can't seem to stop making babies if they are all such beauties  I just sent an e-mail to make an appointment for a 3D scan in April and I have my anatomy scan in 5 days. I'm sooo looking forward to it.
What a cutie mommy!! Love that little nose!! [emoji7]
I got my results back from my doctor and they said my hemoglobin was at an 11. She just said to keep taking my prenatal. But when I looked it up on my chart it says normal range is 12-16. Should I be taking iron supplements? Any other ladies with experience?

Hello everyone!!!! Sorry it has been soooo long since I have been on, hope you are all doing well! We are all good, i had my 20 week scan a couple of weeks ago and everything is looking fine, they had a good look at his lips and heart as those are the two areas most commonly negatively affected by the zofran I had to take and all is looking ok. What a relief!!!
Mommy, what an absolute cutie your little one is!!!

Taytum - I had very low iron in first pregnancy and ended up having to take liquid iron each day (yuck!!!). For the last two pregnancies I have taken something called floradix from the start (a kind of gentle iron supplement) and my levels have stayed fine, so I don't think it hurts to top up a bit. How are you feeling? That is the main thing. I don't think having levels on the low side is a prob for bub, but if you are feeling tired and lightheaded etc it might be worth taking something extra? I felt soooo much better as soon as I had the iron, I hadn't realised how knackered I was until I took it!!

I actually haven't felt much different (other than a baby in my right rib! [emoji30]). I went to bed early the other night and I've been sleeping pretty soundly. No lightheaded or headaches and I don't think any more tired than my crazy week/3rd trimester has allowed. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't depriving baby of nutrients!

I'm pretty sure they suck us dry before being at any great risk of being short themselves!!! Glad you are sleeping well and generally feeling good!! I know you were about pain relief a few (hundred!!) pages back and I want to read that again and respond as I have had two v different births re pain relief options

Good to know Foxcub about the iron! That does make me feel better. [emoji4]
And yes I'd love to hear your story!

Mommymachine what a beautiful photo!!
I have my 20 wk scan in 2 weeks. I saw the hospital doctor today and she told me that I'm anemic! Normal feritin levels are 15-180. Mine was 6!! I'm in shock too Taytum because I've been taking my pre natals and feel fine. She told me to increase my iron but if it hasn't improved by 28 weeks I'll need a blood transfusion. Has anyone ever had a transfusion during pregnancy?
@mamacass i didnt do anything extra to update. 🤔
@mommymachine cute pic[emoji106]
@fiya looking forward for a pic from anatomy scan. Hope everything is ok
@taytum my feritin level was at 7 n i started taking feramax but was not too regular.
My hemoglobin is low again in recent test yesterday. Dr started me on 300 mg iron[emoji37]
@foxcubblue good to hear bub is doing fine
I had my two hr glucose test n i m border line gestational diabetic. [emoji21]i m going to limit my sugar intake.
Baby is quiet active now a days. Moves a lot. I can feel kicks mostly at night[emoji39]

Violet - wow!! See, this is just interesting to me that it seems like a serious issue and I don't know if my doc is just more laid back?
I hope you are able to increase it!! Blood transfusion sounds so scary!
Team green baby due May 21! [emoji170][emoji166]
@mammacass - the only thing I can think of would be that I have confirmed ours is a girl? have you done that also? if so, I have no idea why mine is updated and yours not *shrugs* sorry I cant be of more help
No idea sorry lol x

Taytum I think most iron deficiencies can be corrected with iron suppliments. I'm guessing maybe that's why your doctor didn't seem too concerned. I'm hoping mine will improve with the suppliments because the last thing I want is bub to suffer and I don't want a transfusion. :(

@mommymachine - your baby girl is just GORGEOUS!!! What an absolutely fabulous picture to have, oh I'd say it has made you even more impatient to hold her :) I'm so wishing 3D scans were not a ridiculous price in this country, I'd love to have a more "fleshed out" picture of our little man!
@Taytum I have anaemia and am on an iron supplement long term (well honestly I've had to stop the past 7-10 ish days as it can become very hard on your system over time, I'll start back again in a couple of days) My latest pregnancy levels were at 10.8 I think and they said they were too low for this stage of pregnancy (but considering they were under 9 pre pregnancy I'm thinking I'm doing pretty ok!) and they will continue to get lower as the pregnancy progresses. Baby will not suffer through my low iron levels, it is just me that suffers through tiredness but the big downside can be excessive blood loss at delivery (luckily I've never been excessive and not needed a transfusion) If you are worried about your levels and want to slowly increase them maybe start an iron supp every second day, just ensure you get getting enough fibre to avoid constipation ;)
Ladies anyone notice an increase in back ache/bump ache around this stage (18+ weeks)? Is there a growth spurt coming up or anything? I just feel so uncomfortable the last 2-3 days with aches and pains everywhere. I'm really tired all the time too!!
Good idea hopper! Maybe I'll ask at my next appointment. Perhaps since I was 28+2 at time of draw and got an 11 they felt that was fine? I'll definitely double check!
I keep waking up on my back [emoji51] And then it's so sore! Also had a dream I gave birth early and it was a little girl with lots of dark hair! Dreams can make you crazy.

Yes, I'm with you hopper!! Although this time it seems to be mainly sudden complete death in my right leg (sciatic nerve?) and I am then unable to move until hubby rubs my bum cheek!! Today has been bad as I've been on feet all afternoon creating birthday cake for DD2 as we are having a family party tomorrow - can't believe she is already two!!!

Yes hopper my SPD is so bad already [emoji37] the pelvic girdle pain/sciatic is ok so far but I'm already clunking turning over in bed!! Has never been this early previously [emoji108]🏼[emoji109]🏼

Fiya what an adorable bump! You look great! Exciting that your anatomy scan is so close!
Panther I have hypothyroidism and I have 2 boys and another on the way! I've been on synthroid for 9 years now.
Hopper and netti, that's nice to know you liked that age gap. Did you think it was hard being pregnant with a 1 year old?
Mommymachine she is precious!! Such as great clear pic of her! I've got my 4D ultrasound in April and I really hope I get a great shot like that!
I've been having some heartburn and Ocular migraines. I had the Ocular migraines with my last pregnancy too. Other than that I can't complain. I feel my little guy more and more each day and even with an anterior placenta I saw my belly move today when he was kicking 💙! I also felt him having the hiccups today! I absolutely love feeling him move around!
My oldest is going to be 7 in April! He's so excited for his birthday and we are planning his party. They don't't know it yet, but we also got tickets to take them to a monster truck show in the beginning of April!! DH and I are so excited to tell them!!
Also, any baby wearing mommys here? I am looking at some because I think it will be nice to have with his 2 older brothers not really needind a stroller unless we go somewhere for a whole day. I know I want to get a tula carrier and I'm also looking at the girasol ring slings.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Sorry I've been MIA for so long.
Luvmyfam - yes I babywear & love it. I only got into it with ds3. I have a Fire Spiral woven wrap, Lenny Lamb ring sling and a toddler buckles Onbu which is great for wearing ds3 on my back without a strap getting in the way of my bump. I'm looking for a shorter woven so that I can wear this baby from birth as I don't particularly want to buy another stretchy. I gave mine to my sister as she's just had her baby this week and it has a fleece panel sewn in - useless for a June baby! Tulas look lovely & if I wasn't a wrapper I think I'd opt for one of those tbh. 😀 I don't like Connectas.
Three beautiful boys and my longed-for DD due in June 2016!
Thank you sweetdream! I'll ask my doctors next time I see them.
Hopper not sure if there's a growth spurt is due but around 17/18 weeks I found myself eating everything is sight. My hunger has died down a little now so I've put it down to baby having a growth spurt. I hope you feel better soon. x
lol thanks ladies, glad to know I'm not alone! The bump ache has been horrible the past few days but then last night I felt him move much higher in my bump than ever before so I'm just assuming it was everything shifting around and him moving a bit higher :)
DS1 was 14 months old when I got my BFP on DS2. I had Hyperemesis on both pregnancies but it was horrendous on my second so the first maybe 14ish weeks were very hard for our family in general as I was constantly being admitted to hospital for fluids. After the sickness had passed I found it fine for the most part. DS2 arrived when DS1 was just gone 23 months. DH had to be more hands on than I would have thought he might have wanted to be but that can only be a good thing ;) The age gap this time will be 30ish months between DS2 and DS3. I'm loving it so far, pregnancy has been easier in general and the boys are great buddies and great for occupying each other so I can rest a lot more than I could have on my second pregnancy. The fact DH is more hands on this time round is a real help too :)
Sorry to hear you are suffering from migraines hun, they are so unpleasant! But yay on seeing belly move :) I'm so surprised by how inactive (even at this stage!) this baby is compared to his big brothers. I'm hoping its a sign of things to come lol. A quiet, easy baby would be such a change from my first two :P
Enjoy telling your DS about his birthday treat :D So cute!!! As for baby wearing I've done it on both my guys and I will again this time, though I have sold on all but one of my carriers. I wouldn't have survived the early weeks if I didn't wear DS2 lol. I just have a Boba left though, I prefer buckles over wraps and slings. Easier and less fuss with a newborn ;) I had a stretchy wrap on DS2 and I thought I'd love it but honestly it was just faster put him into and take him out of the structured carrier!
Luvmyfam- I baby wear! I just got a Tula in the fall and I absolutely love it! It's the most comfortable carrier I've found for a toddler. I swear by my Rockin Baby ring sling for newborns though. I wore DS2 in it from the day he came home from the hospital until I switched him to the Tula at 20 months. It was quick, easy, and I could nurse in it.

Boyz my DS 1 was very active in utero and I think this one is on the same track as him. He walked at 9 months and was always on the go as a baby. DS 2 was so lazy in utero I had to do daily kick counts and he was a lazy baby and didn't walk until 14.5 months. It is normal and she can move a lot in her sleep.
gah so excited, hubby felt baby move for the first time on saturday!!! his reaction was so gorgeous :P I dont think he was expecting to actually feel anything when I put his hand on my tummy, but then little miss kicked him right under his hand haha how far along were you ladies when your partner's could feel baby move? I ended up being 16 weeks which I think is similar to my last 2 pregnancies
I have always used a Baby Bjorn for mine and just love it :) perfect for when bub just wants cuddles and you need to get things done around the house, and also great when u go out and about and don't want to use pram :)
I can't seem to stop eating either ladies, have been indulging quite a bit :( oh well.
Sorry to hear your son is also sick boyz, it's been long and drawn out for you - hope you are able to get some rest x
Missiz my hubby and DS1 have just recently felt Bub move too at 18wks, loved DS1s reaction, it was just perfect [emoji4]
