I swear by blueberries. My pediatrician told me to give them to the kids when they have trouble going. I too am constipated often, and eat them to help me.
Eating dehydrated apples makes me REALLY go... haha...
Thanks for all those suggestions girls.
They are all on my shopping list :)
I'm sure that's the same reason for me, mummypink!
Oh gosh, I tried taking milk of magnesia a couple of months ago, and almost threw up. I couldn't handle the taste in my mouth, so most of it got spit down the drain lol. I've had issues with constipation too. I've found that drinking like twice as much water as usual helped me a lot. I, too, had one that was so big and painful in my first pregnancy that I seriously thought I ripped something. I can still remember it to this day, and I was sitting in the bathroom crying the whole time. It was awful. I hope you feel better soon!
My DS2 keeps saying it's a girl too. Even though he's soooo happy it's a boy. He's 3 though....so I'm not analyzing what he says. We have a name picked out too- but I never ever call my babies by their name until they are born. I just feel weird. Not superstitious, just weird. So I always refer to them as 'the baby' or whatever silly nickname they have acquired.
I always pictured 2 boys and a girl as well. I never wanted more than 1 girl. And I also looked at the statistics. Now I can't picture this baby being a girl - and I'm just throwing myself into being the best, most awesome freaking boy mom. Ever.
My MIL keeps saying stories about wrong gender too, she's doing my head in, she has been really odd this time around and I've had to bite my tongue on many occasions.. She's recently changed her insults from gender to the size of my bump. I am fully aware of how big my bump is but I dont need my MIL telling random strangers about how big I am and how long Ive got to go right in front of me and also talking to her friend on her mobile right next to me about how Ive had a scan and they didnt mention twins so seems to be just one massive one.. (sorry rant over lol)
My Ob has a machine in her office so they will probably be the only ones being done before birth. She did one the other day and she pointed out the lines of a girl so that was good. xx
MIL's... they make everything awkward!
My mil makes everything awkward too, she is terrible with that. She is even still fighting about ds1 and his autism, she just refuses to believe it and thinks I make it all up and lied to the docs or something to get the diagnosis! Ugh.
You girls talking about your MILs is making me sad that one day my future DILs will talk the same way about me :(. I hope I won't be crazy.
