If I saw Mila I think I would say Milla....Meila I would say Meelah. This could be my Australian accent confusing things though [emoji23]

I would say "Mee-lah" if I saw Mila. Meila sounds like "may-lah" to me, and Milla would be "mill-ah". 🤷🏻*♀️
Lol babypink I think no matter how I spell t it'll be off for someone. I may take a list of different spellings and have people read it to me and the one that's pronounced right most will be what I pick

Ash - Mila is a very beautiful name, and it's pretty popular/trendy. It is predominantly used in all languages and pronounce the same all over the globe. I doubt you'd have any problems with people not knowing how to pronounce it.
Setting here with my grandpa and the family brought up names again and I said Estelle and of course one of the kids (I know I shouldn't put thought into it) said oh can I call her Stella like my dog [emoji35] I can feel instant flames [emoji91]! NO and I will get mad at you if you do! My response...

Ugh, people [emoji849]. I learned a long time ago to not talk names with anyone. Someone always has to make fun of the name somehow! We announce the name only when the baby is born!

Ash-so annoying when people try to put their own twist on the name!! I mean why would they even think you'd want them to call her their dog's name lol...2 diff names!!!
