Did it get ground up into the carpet?

I adore and hate play-doh. My oldest being autistic thrives off of play-doh, it really helps his stress and hand coordination..but he likes tearing it into small pieces and gets it everywhere and it dries up super fast since he plays sooo long with it.
Don't you just love some of the gifts that aunties and uncles bring that don't have kids. I swear my sister always brings the loudest toys that make you want to chuck the toy across the room... Lol!! This Christmas she bought my 3 yo a bow and arrow set (suction of course) but seriously, I don't want that in my house. We've had to hide it!!! Lol!!!!
Hehe, I'm always thankful for having wooden floors when it comes to play dough!
I have been known to charity shop toys that were incredibly annoying though!!! ;)
Oh I actually LOVe play-doh. It is truly one of the ONLY things my boys can do together without fighting. Gotta love that no matter if it means finding bits of it all over the house (including my older boys bed??!!). I have been know to snip out fibers of carpet that were particularly unsightly. But I do understand the pain of it getting everywhere. I try to limit it to the dining room (where we have hardwood), but it still turns up in every corner of this place. But for my thirty minutes of peace while I drink a cup of tea...I turn to play-doh ;)
However, the annoying, loud, dart-bearing toys are immediately given away or hidden in a dark, dark corner of my house. Who the heck invents these things? Whatever happened to nice wooden toys that created no noise on their own volition?! Lol.
Although I did get some awesome "old school" building bricks for my boys this week and almost lost my marbles trying to "build" them into blocks. Flat-packing and "Ikea-style" instructions just don't mix with a moody mama functioning off 4 hours of sleep a night. Thank goodness the kids like them, cause I almost threw them all away after seeing how complicated it was to get them together. Meanwhile two small people were jumping around in excitement and offering "helpful" help. Looking back, I wish I had a video of us doing it...it was a mess. But at the time I was NOT entertained!
In other news, I am rapidly going broke buying adorable wool for wearing over cloth diapers. I fear it is an addiction. I shall remember to disown the friend who got me addicted...after I get her opinion on all of my choices :D
Hello! Had my giant baby boy with I think the name Wyatt James Finn this morning at 12:28am 9lbs 5 oz... I'm only 5'2 and I delivered by 2nd vbac! Did everyone just grab their crotch in sympathy?!? Lol!
I am so happy I tried for a girl and got this little guy instead, I couldn't be happier:) this being said after the labour!!! Man!!! How easily we forget how hard that is, but such a relief it's over:):)
CONGRATS coocoo!!!!
