oh sorry I somehow missed that question. I'm not totally sure we know WHAT sways in the OLE - actually I am sure we don't know at all LOL. So yes go ahead and get the higher Oleuropein in case that's what is doing the swaying.

No, they don't and LR should not ever ever ever be taken by anyone with high blood pressure. the effects of LR on blood pressure are like a hurricane wind, the effect of OLE (if any) is like a butterfly flapping its wings.
ok thanks. so assuming my husband, in good health, were planning to take both LR and OLE- OLE starts whenever and just is taken continuously? i know it's not been tried much here yet, but wondering how those who have done it have used it.
LR should only be taken for 14 days from cd1. :)
DH has been taking two 450mg capsules of olive leaf extract a day for 6 months continuously. He's taking two 450mg licorice root capsules a day from AF-O or 14 days. After 6 months of licorice root though you have to take a month off (which DH did last month since we were on vacation and not TTC).
thank you essnce629!!! (side note- i see you had home births- yay!! my last one was a home birthed water baby too... first one was an attempted home birth but breech vaginal didn't pan out-so technically second one was an hbac).. ANYWAY.. thank you for info about the OLE. also, i know i asked it somewhere else, but don't think it got a response- i know i always ovulate around CD 18 or later, so should/could i have my husband start LR on CD 3 or 4 and just do it for 2 weeks following that? or just always CD 1-14?
sorry this has been a weird couple weeks
OLE is daily thru entire cycle.
LR is CD 1-14 only, regardless of when you ovulate. He does not NEED to be on it when you ovulate. These hormonal supps suppress the hormone levels overall and it takes time for them to lower and time to rise. it is MUCH easier to simply give it to him CD 1-14 and requires no figuring and complex equations and removes the stress from the situation, and it works just as well if not better.
