Welcome Jenny! I'm glad the LE is working for you so far! :) if your cycles are regular, I would avoid clomid cuz it could give you twin by cussing hyperovulation! However if your not worried about it then I say try it!!!
2xblue thank you that's seriously so encouraging! That was kind of my mindset was to get them out quick and young so I'm still in my 20s when I'm done having kids! Then I can just work on my body again and get in shape to enjoy my 30s:) but in with you I can't wait till I'm pregnant and can eat whatever and do whatever! I've been avoiding running cuz I don't want to hinder my blue sway! I miss running!
Shellburk As far as ovulation though I agree I think I should wait around 12 hours to DTD after +opk. That would prob work better for me and DH's work schedule since so far I've gotten the first pos in the AM!

Thanks for sharing your diet with me 2xblue. It sounds fairly similar to the sorts of things I am eating. How many calories are you aiming for? I find I have to make sure I eat enough at the one sitting so I can last till the next!! Totally know what you mean about thinking about food all the time!!! I chew gum and drink herbal tea in between to keep me going 😉 I don't mind the food I'm eating, it's just hard cutting out breakky and having to eat all your food in 2-3 sittings rather than grazing like I usually do. I'm looking forward to seeing if my weight starts to decrease soon ☺️. I'm hoping to lose around 8-10kilos. I am tracking on my fitness pal but it's not easy to track things properly all the time and it seems to leave out potassium a lot so I'm not really sure how much I'm getting. I've still got no pos OPK.. Weird. Hopefully things will settle, not sure what to do otherwise?!

Welcome Jenny and shell :) Love seeing more swayers, we will be a great support network for each other!!
Nann3r I love the idea of having them close together! We started out wanting them like that but ended up having 23 months between DS1 and DS2. The gap between DS2 and DC3 will be 28 months at the very minimum. Funnily enough I'm ok with that. We spent the first 10 years of our relationship being carefree and spend free, taking 2-3 holidays a year travelling all over the world and basically being WAY too selfish to contemplate kids! We got married when I was almost 29 and DS1 arrived 9.5 months later lol. I was 31 having DS2 and turn 33 in 2 weeks time. Would love 4 kids, DH wanted 4 until we had DS2 and he is KERAZZZZY so now its been a struggle to get DH on board for #3. I would ideally like to be done by 35 if we go for a 4th child but that might be a bit of a stretch at this stage haha!!! My friend has 3 little girls aged 3,2 and 1 and is due her 4th daughter in September. She has THE most girl friendly life ever, I need to start taking a leaf out of her book ;)
I have noticed that with MFP shellburke! It rarely has all the stats but I'm mostly tracking fat and protein so try not to worry about the rest! What CD are you on? The LE diet can shorten and lengthen your cycle and its made mine fairly irregular but supposedly thats all part of the sway! I'm on CD24 and only getting pains and EWCM today and yesterday. My LP is consistent though so thats the main thing.
Ladies on LE. Are you eating a proper main meal - like a dinner? I am finding that the hardest part of the day!! Any ideas? I am currently 125lbs, lost 1lb in the fortnight-ish since starting cardio. Would like to get down to 120lbs or so having been 140lbs since I was about 21.

Isn't it funny for us swayers now that you look around at people and guess their lifestyle and then u see their kids and your like omg I totally called that.. I see very apparent runner moms come into my shop all the time and more often then not they have all girls or at least mostly girls... And then when slightly overweight women come in they have at least one boy or all boys! It's like when you buy a new car, then you see that car everywhere now haha now that I'm swaying, I see accurate results every day without people even knowing that they're swaying!!! :)

Welcome Jenny! I don't know about the clomid. It does sway girl but I don't know is it bad to use if you have regular cycles.
Nann, I also love running. It's such an effective exercise. I can imagine how you must miss it. I missed it so much when pregnant with DS2. But I miss weight lifting now! I wish I could do it. Yes it's funny to guess people's lifestyle and see what gender they have. Sometimes you can really see why someone has that gender but also I know many thin boy moms and overweight girl moms. One lady I know has 3 girls and she is overweight. I've been wondering why she has only girls, is it because of something (like low fertility?) or is just down to luck. I know many boy moms who are very thin but I have no idea what their diet is like. Maybe they eat little but very healthy stuff? One of my neighbours has girl, boy, girl. She is overweight and she's vegetarian. Sometimes she eats chicken. It's intresting to think about these things!
Shellburke, right now I'm eating 1600cals a day. I started with 1800. I don't know should I increase it when I start my intense cardio. I guess the calorie amount depends how much weight you have to lose. By the way, I'm not sure but was tea not recommended when swaying pink? Not sure though. About potassium, I was wondering exactly the same thing when I started LE. But like hopper said MFP doesn't track all the potassium so you probably are getting more than MFP says.
hopper, I'm having pasta or rice and cooked vegetables for dinner. What have you been eating?
Today I had my usual toast for lunch and then went to a restaurant to eat dinner with my friends. I had a ceasar salad without the chicken and a glass of white wine. I have no idea how much calories, fat and protein it had but omg it was good. There was amazing dressing on it and lovely piece of foccazia bread. I should've probably not eat the dressing and bread cos I think there was too much of fat in them but oh well. I went running in the evening for 45 minutes, maybe that helped a bit. In the evening I had some sweets.

I aim for about 1500 cals 2x but honestly if I am having a bit of a cheat day and I stay under the upper limit of 1800 I am happy with myself. I rarely go over the 1800, maybe I have once since starting LE. I aim for 40-50g of fat if it's lower then that's great lol. The odd day I have went above that but those days have been very few. I aim for about 45g of protein but find it hard generally to get that much without increasing fat. I did today though! Lots of carb loaded, nutrient-less white bread lol.
Your dinner sounds delish 2x!! I had pasta with a tomato based sauce and a sprinkle of light cheese. Some garlic toasties to bulk it up and an Apple to finish. Would have had extra cals to play around with but had a small slice of birthday cake this morning ing and that ate up massive calories so was kinda depriving myself for the day afterwards!
I started the cardio about a fortnight ago. I haven't increased food yet but I will if I feel my weight is dropping too fast. I have lost 1lb since starting so nice and slow, hopefully I can keep it up.
Are any of you ladies taking Fibre? And how much Folic are you taking? I am using Benefiber but am switching to Chitosan tomorrow and am taking about 800mcg of Folic daily. I am also on a daily iron supplement, had hoped to be able to give it up for a while but my doctor rang today with blood results and asked that I stay on it for another 6-8 weeks! Kinda worried now about it having a negative effect on all my hard work!!
Also are any of your OHs helping you sway? My DH has said in the past he would take supplements but is having second thoughts now. I would like him to take cran and LR in an ideal world! He's cut out tea drinking, he was a tea fiend! He claims to be getting withdrawal headaches and all!!

Hi Ladies,
I am swaying for a little girl. I started the LE Diet on the 1st of May and doing my first attempt at the end of Sept onwards.
Just wanted to wish you all the best of luck with your sways and will be following your journeys in this thread. I am pretty boring and eat basically the same foods that I know are "safe" on the LE diet.
I start my day with 2 coffees with skim milk between 6:30 and 8:30
I have my first meal round 9:30 - 2 x white toast with jam
Lunch is around 1:30 - some cracker bread (Cruskits) with humus and some cucumber with a thin slice of cheese
Dinner is around 6pm and I have veg( mushrooms/ zucchini / cauliflower and broccoli) with a dash of soy sauce, either with white rice or plain pasta.
2 glasses of white wine every night
If I am still hungry, I might have 3 blocks of white chocolate.
I might also have a cup of hebal tea or some more coffee during the course of the day.
No snacking
That's pretty much what I have been eating for 10 weeks now - boring I know! I gave up all meat and am so looking forward to a nice steak.
I take folic acid and fibre. I have hubby taking OLE extract, every time I give it to him to take - he jokes as says he thinks I am poisoning him - lol
I opted for the couch potato option, as I didn't feel like I could follow through with the exercise ( this is the only part of my sway that scares me)
Anyway, Best of luck to you all with your desired genders :)

Welcome pink pony! Hope your sway goes as planned and you get ur little pink bundle!
DH is totally on board with helping me sway! Luckily he doesn't have to do much other than be healthy! (I type this as he eats a bag of Doritos...) haha but he promised me 2 months out he will do whatever I need:) so that's super refreshing! So he's gonna take zinc and vit E and wear boxer shorts:) and coffee 30mins prior to bding!
anything else I should have DH do!?

Hi Everyone,
I went on a holiday to Fiji recently and it was FULL of families...I couldn't help analysing whether the 'girl' mums were thinner/more athletic and the 'boy' mum's a bit heavier etc. Of course I found lots of examples to fit the theory but then hubby would point out a really overweight mum with 3 girls. Ah well...it still makes sense to me and I'm putting all my energy into giving it a shot! I just ordered a lovely rose quartz and moonstone necklace to wear :)
Pinkpony it sounds like you are doing great and are commiting to a fair while on the diet before you ttc. I notice you are in Aus too, I am in Sydney, how bout you? My hubby is taking OLE too...he was actually already on it as we use it to fight off colds in winter. I'm hoping he is on the right dose-we have the liquid type and the taste is fine and he just takes the max dose listed on the side. It's expensive though?!
Hopper-hello :) I'm on CD 16 and have only just been on LE diet properly for 5 days so it can't be that. Not sure what is going on but I've written to Atomic to ask for some advice.
It's great to have a little group going for support-we can do it girls!!!!

Hi Nann3r,
Not to sure what's involved for a boy sway, but I do have 2 boys and my diet consisted of cereal every morning with full cream milk. Lunch was sandwiches, or I had them toasted, like ham and cheese. Dinner was always meat, salad or veg and sometimes a starch, like hot chips, potatoes.
Good luck with the sway :)
