BD and fertile week questions

AF is here again. I felt so good about this month, the diet and attempts were perfect. But alas it wasn't meant to be. My cycle was 30 days this time, it alternates between 28 or 30-31. Atomic, is it possible that my supps or preseed are interfering? Should I drop anything or wait out this month? I will now start my 3rd cycle of ttc. I also plan on using opks to know my exact fertile days. And no more grapefruit juice in week of O, not that I think it's bad but I'll leave it out this month.

Here are my current sups: Elevit prenatal, Vit D 1000 iu, probiotics
Attempts past cycle: 4 days in a row through fertile window, plus eod after the window until AF

Let's try dropping the Preseed. A few people have seemed to think it may have cut conception rates for them.

Your supplements should not prevent conception in any way.

Also I want to be sure you're spending part of the time after intercourse on your stomach rather than your back. This has seemed to help some people.

Thanks Atomic, I’ll drop the preseed for now, but is it okay if we use just a little bit on the outside with my fingers? And also, even though preseed is supposedly made to help conception, why does it have the opposite effect for some?

I only spent two attempts on my belly, but I will try it for every attempt now.

I’m starting to feel nervous even though it’s only been 2 cycles. I have thoughts that what if there’s something wrong with us? I want to divert my thinking and stay positive.

Well, it's meant to be better than other lubes for those who need it. Studies have shown it's better than other lubes (significantly) but is not as good as EWCM, so it may be better to take a pass on it if people aren't conceiving with it. this is especially true for those who are using a lot of it thinking it sways blue (this may not be your situation, but some people use a lot of Preseed and even mix baking soda in it so dropping Preseed is one of my standard recommendations).

It's fine to use small amounts if you need it, though.

It's really normal to have concerns when you don't get pregnant right away. Just keep in mind it takes people an average of 3-6 months to get pregnant. Just hang in there, this will happen!!

Thanks so much for the encouragement Atomic. You're right that's the average time it can take when ttc, and I keep telling myself that I'm one more month closer to when I will eventually conceive. Now that I think about it, pink swaying sounds difficult where you're reducing your fertility but still keeping enough to conceive! But they do eventually have their babies.

It's when I think of others who conceived first month and I think why they were so lucky. But everything has its own time, and I pray my time comes soon in the future.
