Oh, and I have to know. Did you get a nub shot or did you avoid it? Did you have any inkling this would be a girl before your big scan (other than the fact you'd swayed)?
haha I actually just replied to you about this on another threads. I was about 80% sure after the 13 week ultrasound that she was a she. My doctor's office does not do gender guesses or nub shots at the early ultrasound but on the screen I saw something I have NEVER seen on any of my other U/s - a long, bright white set of straight parallel lines. Then, just for a split second, the tech shot from the bottom up and there was nothing between the legs at all whatsoever. Also, at the beginning of the ultrasound, the tech was calling the baby "he" and by the end she was saying, "he or she" which I thought had to be kinda encouraging.Quote:

Ha ha - I just saw your response on the other thread and responded there! As I said there, I had a VERY brief glimpse of what looked like long, flat lines during my scan, but I tried not to be hopeful until they gave me the pictures. Up here they NEVER even venture a guess about gender until 20 weeks at the earliest, and even then they can only tell you if they have express permission from your doctor or midwife on your requisition.
Anyway, thanks for further feeding my nubsession - I hope I get the same news as you in 13 days :bigsmile:
