Congrats ktf!! How exciting!!
2boys how was your scan last friday?! I have been waiting for an update!
10 weeks here about. Still feeling yucky. I have tried the unisom/b6 a few times. It usually helps, especially during the night. Last night I took it within 10/15 minutes of my prenatal and I felt awful all night long and dry heaved like crazy in the morning. I am wondering if it has anything to do with taking it too close to my prenatal?
This week should go by quick for me. I am preparing for ds3 Bday party over the weekend. The next week I will finally call my midwife to schedule my first visit. I don't know why I am so backwards. Everyone else that has had a loss is wanting to get in ASAP. But I am putting it off. What the heck is wrong with me!!
On a GD not. I actually stopped and looked at some baby girl clothes while shopping this weekend. There were 2 sun dresses that I could have just cried over they were so cute. I was with my mother and about 10 minutes before that she was telling me how this family we know just surprised everyone that they were expecting a little girl after 2 boys. Jeeeez my GD kicked in after that, I couldn't even sleep that night because of it.
Hope everyone is doing well. The nausea sure does suck but I agree it is somewhat reassuring!
P.S. I want tater totes;)

Queen i think it is understandable you want to wait. I am constantly terrified and i almost feel like all my scans and reassurance are giving me false hope.
Speaking of tator tots...we have a restaurant around here that has the best tots you will ever eat. They are soooo crispy and seasoned just so and they have a sauce they serve with it called rock sauce. Omg. I really want to go there now. Haha
Keep the faith, major congrats! So so happy for you!
Rosie,
Didn't realize you were team green, good for you! I was also for my first two, it was dh more this time that insisted on knowing :)
Tara,
Glad you are feeling the symptoms, it's so reassuring.
I'm having the worst most sharp pelvic pain of my life when I walk, way worse than when I was in my 3rd trimester and I'm not even 14 weeks yet. I can't take it, anyone have this or know how to ease it?
So happy for you keep the faith! Wonderful news!!

Thanks! I'm just praying that the symptoms and mostly that this baby sticks!!
Have you considered seeing a chiropractor for you back? They really do help! It's just one of those things that you have to continue going to get the benefits and can get pricy:/

Babyxx- look up SPD in pregnancy. Basically all the hormones we get during pregnancy that prepare are pelvic area to separate during birth go hay wire. So your pelvic bones start separating during pregnancy causing extreme pain. Unfortunately there is not a lot you can do. The bigger the baby gets and the more weight you gain will only intensify the pain. Some people have luck with the belly support systems, you can get ones that wrap up under your pelvic/pubic area that help.
I had it with all my pregnancies. It is the absolute worst. Going up and down step is really painful. Sleeping was a nightmare, turning over in bed was the hardest. You pretty much want to keep your knees together all the time, so sitting cross legged is a big no no. And never try putting all your weight on one foot, so when taking pants on and off you want to be sitting.
So I am rambling....... Sorry maybe this is not even the pain you are feeling? Hoping for you it is not FX.
The best way I could describe the pain was it felt like my pubic bone was being pulled apart:( the good thing was that after birth it pretty much disappeared for me.
I think you can look up some exercises that can help strengthen the muscles holding those areas together.

Queen, thanks so much for that, it's exactly what I am feeling! Yes the stairs are the worst ever for me. I will definitely look into some kind of chiropractic therapy, great idea. Also it would most likely help if I carried my 2 year old around less, sometimes even my 3 year old insists that I carry him up or down the stairs! I'm nervous about the pain towards the end of this pg if this is how sore I am now!
Yes I will look into a chiropractor for sure, thanks for that. I may also try accupuncture, it really helped me a couple of weeks ago when I had the worst headache of my life, and Tylenol was not really working at all. It made such a difference, I felt like a new person. Plus I hate taking anything during pregnancy, even Tylenol, although they say it's safe, you just never know...
How is everyone doing? I've made the 12 week mark yay! Got scan tomorrow then telling our friends and family!
We can't decide whether to tell people it's a girl or hold onto it a bit longer? I'm so excited though and dying to tell!! Any opinions appreciated!! X
Im joining in aswell. Im 7 +3 now and due around the 25/10 :-)
Congrats and welcome angel29!
Ktf yay on 12 weeks. I would tell everyone its a girl...too great of a secret to keep!
Betas
11dpo - 15
13dpo - 23
60% increase
72 hour double time
It is literally the exact bottom on the normal range.
I have to retest Saturday but the cruel thing is I won't get results until Monday.
I'm going to go completely crazy by the end of the weekend.
Welcome 1dd! It is so so early for you still...i wouldn't worry yet!
Okay this sucks soo bad. I literally peed 8 times in the last hour and its not stopping. Is this normal?!?! It doesnt burn and its a bunch of pee. It literally like my bladder is the size of a walnut. I am getting super annoyed. I read somewhere close to 11 weeks your uterus is too big for your pelvic cavity and really pushes the bladder and it will be relieved at 12 weeks when it moves up...i really hope its true. I have never in my life had to go so much...4th baby issue? Lol

12 week scan yesterday measuring 12 wks 4 days, all looking great and been put on green pathway as no complications anticipated!! Yay, told everyone yesterday and it now feels so real! Can't believe can go pink shopping!!!
Great picture keepthefaith!
Congrats Angel29 and welcome.
Rosie- I get up to pee 3-4 times a night. I don't notice it so bad during the day. I know I don't drink enough because it makes my tummy start rolling. I am always thirsty though.......

Aww so cute ktf!! Enjoy all your shopping!
Queen 3 times a night?! That would drive me bonkers. Luckily after I fell asleep last night i got 5 solid hours without peeing! Haha
Beautiful Ktf!
Try not to worry yourself sick dd1, I know how much worry can consume a person. That's all I've been doing is worrying and praying for this baby.
Afm- I had my bloods redone yesterday 4w7d. My hcg was 3682!!! I was praying for 1500, that would have meant it was doubling every 48 hrs. It went from 120 3w7d to 3682 a week later! I am finally feeling a little relief. Since I had a miscarriage in December, I can't help but worry. My first ultrasound will be next Thursday! I so hope we see a healthy little bean with a good strong heart beat. I will be a long week to wait...

Hey everyone! I have been following you all just keeping quiet as I wait for my scan. I guess the department is backed up so I will finally have it done tomorrow night at 7pm. I am pretty nervous and excited- I will be 8 weeks so the little nut should be big enough to see a good heart beat. I hope.
I have been severely sick the past week, barely able to eat anything except junk! It's bad. And I feel like I am more like 6 months pregnant than 8 weeks! Pretty round already!
Other than that I am so tired I don't do anything besides work and parent- no energy for anything and I feel so lazy for it. I should be exercising but I am literally just exhausted.
Anyway....I will let you know how the scan goes:)

Tarasue that is great! Maybe the high hcg means girl or twins!
2boys that is a bummer your scan had to wait. Excited to hear all about it though!
I am feeling better day by day. Still tired but less nausea and more gusto to go out and do stuff and clean the house. I can eat now too...small portions though of course...eating too much makes me very sick.
First day I've not felt sick in ages and I gutted my house as been really needing it. Now knackered but so enjoyed a day of feeling semi normal! Told all friends and family today and it was so much fun!
Sending love and sticky vibes to everyone xx
Keep hope 1dd.
I know how hard it can be. Are you feeling any pains? I also had low rising numbers and yes mine turned out to be an etopic pregnancy, but please know there are also a lot of women that just have slow rising numbers! Everything could still be fine :-) just stay positive.
Hi everyone,
I have been feeling quickening since 12 weeks, hope this is normal? From what I have read it's really early, anyone else felt the baby moving this early?
Wow 11+4 is really early Tarasue, thanks for that, just wanted to make sure it's normal :)
Thread crashing- I felt DS2 movement at 10w2d confirmed during my first US! My midwife scheduled the US because she found his heartbeat on the Doppler right away! I was so sick and couldn't keep anything down. She thought I was having twins!
During the US, I kept feeling him move. The tech asked me to press a button to mark on the screen when I felt him move. Every time he made large movements, I had pressed the button and recorded it on the US!
Crazy, huh?! Totally possible to feel baby early if you have been pregnant before!

I hope i can feel the baby that early...will help calm my anxiety!! I felt ds2 at 14 weeks. Ds3 though was 19 weeks as my placenta was anterior.
Ultrasound went well! Measuring right on, 7 weeks 6 days. Heart beat 167[emoji173]️. It relieving but not?!? I just know nothing is yet certain, I suppose it never is until you hold that baby in your arms.

That's wonderful 2boys! I have a feeling everything will be just fine for you! I totally get the feeling of fear though...so hard.
Told everyone it's a girl Rosie couldn't not!! So no little surprises this time and couldn't be happier!!
I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on whether or not I should do a CVS or an amnio. Because of my age, I feel the need to do invasive diagnostic testing. But I worry about CVS potentially harming the placenta-- although it would be so tempting to know that everything is ok so much earlier. What are you all doing?
Keshet - just dropping in this thread to say I think with all the risks involved with an amnio or CVS you should consider NIPT (Harmony, Maternit21, etc instead). You can take some of them as early as 8-10 weeks and then if you get positive results you could always get the CVS/Amnio to confirm. Is there a particular condition you need to test for that isn't covered by NIPT ? I'm not sure where you're located but in the US my Maternit21 wasn't covered by insurance but they have a special if insurance won't cover it, it's only $200.
Hi Bluebonnet, thank you for writing. I thought about NIPT and went to the doctor to do it. But, she convinced me that it is pretty limited in terms of the number of conditions that it could pick up. I am 42 and already have a child with issues. I want to be absolutely sure as much as I possibly can that there are no genetic issues. But, at the same time want to do what is safest.
