Those of you doing trigger shots, how have you gone about getting them? Did you try Clomid first? I'm wondering when I make my appointment if I should push for one or the other. Obviously I'm not ovulating and will need some extra help somewhere, so trying to see what my options are.

I'm definitely taking care of myself. Eating chocolate ice cream and sweet potato french fries for lunch. Trying not to stress but I just can't stop crying when I see anything kid/baby related. I'm a mess.

went for my ultrasound. looks like i ovulated two. but, then the RE tells me that i ovulated on tuesday. on monday, she told me i started to ovulate sunday night. now, i'm annoyed. I doubt our BD on friday night worked with -4 days before O. and then BD on tuesday was probably too late. we BDed on O date last month without luck. another month of reminding myself timing doesn't work. but, can't help feeling that i'm out.
absolutely have to skip next cycle. DH is away during O and i would be at the peak of my morning sickness for our disney trip in june

Seebeewife.. I had a massive temp drop the day I got my BFP. I dont want to get your hopes up but it is possible.

Still no AF.. cervix is high and I can't reach it, usually I can feel it before AF. But I was 2 days late late last month, sunbunny I'd be shocked if I wasn't out.
When are you due? Have you taken a test?

Taytum - I got my trigger from a fertility Dr. He showed me how to inject myself - sounds scary but is actually really simple. He looked at the size of my eggs on the scan and said he thought I'd O on Friday/Saturday and that if I hadn't picked it up on an opk by Monday, to give myself the shot.
I have MASSIVELY complicated the process by failing to test properly yesterday. I got an error message on my Clearblue yesterday morning and then FORGOT (?!!!!!!) to test again during a very hectic day with a toddler and a work crisis. Woke up early this morning in a cold sweat realising I could actually have missed the surge. I could, couldn't I? Advice anyone? It's negative today with fmu and smu. I am completely amazed by my stupidity and the thought that I might have condemned myself to another (8th) month on the HE. I think I will now have to go to the dr Mon morning and get a scan to make sure I haven't already o'd.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Seabee - I'm so sorry. Swaying and TTC is just so miserable. I hope your treats were delicious.
TM29- if you get negatives today and tomorrow I bet you Od and I wouldn't worry about the shot but probably would confirm with a scan on Monday. Did you get your BDing in? That is the important part :)
Maiden - if you're there, could you advise me? Or anyone else? Im going for a blood test to see if I had my surge yesterday and missed it with my opk. If I did have it, apparently my progesterone will now be high. If my progesterone is high, will I be ok to BD x2 today and tomorrow? Or will that be completely wrong for a blue sway? I am in such a panic I can't work this out! I've asked atomic but I need to know asap so we can decide whether to BD. I don't want to do something which could replicate a pink sway pattern in any way at all!!
Junie thank you so much for espousing I am in a panic! No we did not bd yesterday. If I would have got a +opk yesterday I need to know if we should NOT now bd in case it sways pink or anything just to bd X2 the day after +opk!!! I'm so so worried I missed my chance this month

Go BD right now :) :)! BD as much as you can. I would BD this morning, night (if you're up for it), and tomorrow and the day after. You don't want to end up having only 1 attempt- that sways pink!
Junie!!! I am so relieved! I just got the results of a blood test I had this morning and it shows I have NOT o'd yet. Thank goodness I haven't missed it.

Tm 29 BD as much as you can. Don't panic, just try to get as many attempts as you can:) At least that what I would do, GL!

We bd yesterday as I wasn't expecting a +opk yet. If this is my positive would Monday be too late to bd again . Ideally Monday morning would be ideal if we could fit it in
Eleena - I am sending you huge sympathy. It is just ridiculously stressful not knowing exactly when to do what!
JUNIE, sc1411, do you know if it's possible to BD too much for blue - ie if I BD today and tomorrow and I end up using the trigger to ovulate on Monday and then have to do x2 attemppts Monday and Tuesday is that some kind of frequency pattern that would be bad for blue? Or just the more the merrier at this point?!

Eleena, that second one down could just about be positive. I see what you mean. I am not familiar with the pink swaying pattern for BD so I won't get involved in that element of the question. But I can see why you think that might be positive. Tricky that it's a new brand...

I think 7-10 attempts is too much, at least that what I remember reading in Atomic's essays.
Hopefully someone else can support it.
Maybe start a thread in TTC a boy section so more people could see it and help:)
Eleena- If that is your positive and you are trying for only 1 attempt in your fertile window then waiting until Monday is fine. It depends on how quickly you actually O after your positive.
TM29- As long as your H doesn't have sperm quality issues then I think it is fine to do every day. I think you can't have too many attempts for blue. The worry is more if you start doing every day too early and by the time O comes you are too tired to get in a few attempts. But since you know you are doing the trigger Monday at the latest that shouldn't be an issue.
To me sa/su/mo for ovulating on mo sounds perfect for blue.
Although I'm not a blue swayer so you should confirm with atomic.
Eleena the 2nd one is almost there but not quite.
Keep doing a couple of more tests today and tomorrow and based on what you see on the opk see if monday is too late or not.

But the last one I did looks like it's fading out. Maybe the second one down isn't completly positive because I had a full flask of coffee about an hour before?
seebee~ I can sooooooooooooo relate! We have been ttc for 15 cycles now!!! I absolutely lose it everytime AF shows up or even the 2 days before because I know she's coming. Its miserable. So I am truly sorry. Have you tested recently? You last said no AF yet.....?
Eleena how far apart were the 2 tests? Maybe it was too diluted?

Eleena - if you had a full flask of coffee an hour before then that could be a positive. What Junie says sounds reassuring though - if it IS your positive then waiting until Monday is fine. And if it isn't, you will catch the real positive with the million other tests you can really enjoy doing between now and then! Ugh - it's awful. I really hope that was the positive and you catch it perfectly on Monday.
Ok, so I just got caught up after being MIA the last 10 days. Lots going on! Nice to "meet" the ones I don't know yet and Hi to the oldies but goodies! ;)
So after 15 (FIFTEEN) very frustrating cycles I finally got a BFP! A dark one at that. This was my very last month for 6 months at the very least. I had mainly given up. I was barely swaying and didn't pay a ton of attention to timing but I'm pretty sure we dtd 2x on CD16 then once in the morning of CD17 and I O'd late on CD17 which is early for me. I've been down to 7-10 day LP's so Ireally thought it was never going to happen. All 5 of my kids were conceived in 1-2 months so by the time cycle 15 came around I realized it was just not meant to be. Pretty sure God is trying to show me whose boss and that He doesn't have the same agenda as me.
AF was 2 days late but I have often times caused AF to hold off because of me hoping and thinking I was pregnant. I would take a test, see a BFN and AF would show up within the hour. So that was my plan on Thursday! I knew I wasn't pregnant. Knew it. Just bought an enormous box of tampons in preparation. So I took the test at 13dpo and was blown away!!!
Anyways, sorry that was so long! Here's my 13dpo BFP! (If I can figure out how to post a pic) Never ever had one this dark before! Hope it sticks!

fivebabies!!!!!! That is fantastic. Well done you! I actually have tears in my eyes reading that you've been trying for 15 cycles. You really, really deserve this. Congratulations - it's a beautiful, dark I DID IT (with a little help from DH) BFP. :)

My monitor today was first day of high and I know I will get my first peak on on Tuesday.
If you bd Tuesday in the Am I think you will be fine and not too late.
I will be aiming for today and Tuesday as well [emoji3]

Thanks Ladies!!! I'm tearing up just reading your posts! I had gotten soooooo depressed about it. Fall and especially Christmas is my most favorite time of year anyways but having a new baby then makes it simply magical for me! My last baby was born late November. :) I'm already getting waves of nausea (I stay sick until 22 weeks :( ) but I'll take it!!!! I don't even care what gender this baby is. Just happy to be pregnant again!
I'm really, really, REALLY hoping that every single one of you will be in the December Due Date club too! Fingers crossed!!!
