I did have a lot of pasta - maybe that's why? I don't limit myself to just the 1 cupful if I'm serving it out again because of weight loss
swish your cheat night sounds nice!

Hi rainbow!
No breakfast
11.30 snack of rice, yogurt, cumin
2 veg pie, 2 roast potatoes, greens, apple crumble
Dinner noodles, veg with sauce. Skittles :)
hi swish! :)
yesterday:
no breakfast
lunch: Tesco light choices chicken korma (yummy) with 2 meringue nests with cream and strawberries
tea: tomato sauce with pasta, 2 WW choc slices with cream + raspberries
did you make those veg pies? I hadn't thought of pie...
No, Sunday dinner at mum's!
Don't think pie is girl friendly, isn't pastry very fatty?
home made would probably be fine?
In the early days of the diet, when I was still eating eggs, I had a few quiches on store-bought crusts. The crusts are advertised as low sodium, and as long as you watch your portion size, the sodium is fine (particularly if you aren't adding any salt into the contents), but it is very high in fat. I doubt a homemade one would be much better. It's probably ok as a once in a while thing, but I wouldn't eat it too often.
No breakfast
Lunch popcorn, rice with cucumber, grapes and lemon, olive oil, meringues, skittles
Snack biscuit
Dinner mushroom ravioli, meringues, skittles
yesterday (bear in mind I'm doing excessive BF at the moment):
1 Co-Op chocolate twist for breakfast
Lunch: Tesco light choices korma + 1/2 co-op healthy eating naan bread, 1 mars bar, grapes
tea: Birds Eye microwavable rice, mars bar
not the healthiest day, quite certain I'd have gone over on the sodium... and the naan bread said on the packet "not suitable for those on a reduced potassium diet" which I noticed after I'd eaten it, so overall a pretty bad swaying day!
Write it off, rainbow!! You can afford to give yourself a break at the moment!
I've had a bad swaying day too :(
No breakfast
Lunch with friends French bread, humous, salad, crisps, cake, sweets
Dinner rice, courgettes, mushrooms, Parmesan, sweets, meringues
Oh and popcorn!
evening, swish, where would you be without your skittles and popcorn? lol
chocolate twist for breakfast (and I have another for tomorrow too - oops!)
lunch: 1 chicago town cheese pizza (600mg sodium)+ cucumber + grapes... then a double decker choc bar
tea: philli pasta + veg, home made strawberry cheesecake
also been BF a lot today, although he's had a tiny tiny amount of solids today - just an ounce or so
I know, I go through phases of different obsessions!!
Glad ds is a bit better, x
he is a lot better thanks, I'm still losing weight too fast, though :( need to figure out what I can eat that will stop it
Have you tried full fat pop and sweets? That is what I've found had stabilised my weight. Also I put in a fatty/calorie high snack between lunch and dinner, I dropped this in the first few days of the 2ww which I will also do next time. Also I eat some White chocolate if I notice me weight is slipping down again. I am extra careful now since I didn't ov that cycle, I won't let that happen again, plus my family were really worried about me and I don't think that's fair, my mum has enough to worry about!!
swish, rainbowflower and happyheart, just jumping in to cheer you guys on and give you “GET IN MY BELLY” dust! I'm sending you all lots and lots of PINK THOUGHTS!
:babyf::giggle::ballerina::princess::DD::baby::pre gnant::pickuphappy::pinksperm::awe::HH::biggirl2:: cheer:
I hadn't thought of those, I'll definitely introduce a midafternoon snack
I recently read that chocolate is high in potassium - do you know if that's true? if so, it would be anti-sway wouldn't it..?
thanks OotB! :)
Thanks ootb!
Today..
No breakfast
Lunch popcorn, rice with yogurt, lemon, cucumber, grapes, skittles
Snack biscuit
Dinner mushroom ravioli, meringue, skittles, 3 chocolate eclairs
breakfast: chocolate twist (my last one) followed by a Wispa for energy
lunch: pitta bread pizza with grapes, 1/2 mars bar
tea: homemade tomato soup with toast + the other half of that mars bar.
mars bars seem like a nice thing for a sway to me - less chocolate (so less cocoa and antioxidants/potassium), lots of sugar that will burn off quickly... or that's what I'm telling myself!
oh, and what is rice with yoghurt like?does it go a bit like rice pudding but less sweet?
It's actually delicious, I add lemon and sometimes cumin too.
You know, I actually miss rice and yogurt and was thinking of having it again today. Weird, eh? I think I'll try it with brown rice now that I'm not on the diet anymore. Oh, and last night I had rice pasta with pureed butternut squash - another girl diet staple. I have all this food in the house I have to use up + I'm scared to gain weight before this wedding I'm going to on Saturday.
I so want a Mars Bar now!
swish - when I read about the 3 chocolate eclairs I was astounded ... then realised you probably mean the little sweets and not the big cream cakes!!
You're doing great ladies :D
Hi, just dropping by to say how sorry I am AF arrived swish, I really hoped this was your month :HH:
 not a good day again! I will try harder from tomorrow... although William is still not fully back on his solids
breakfast (10am): white chocolate
lunch: Birds Eye Mediterranean rice, ice cream (milk choc Magnum sort)
tea: pasta + cauliflower + leek with a few pieces of gammon (only a few) in a home made cheddar+mozzarella sauce - it was quite gross really and I couldn't eat it all because it was so sickly, mars bar
off to stay with my family on Saturday for 5 days so it'll be interesting to see how good I can be there - I'm going to offer to cook most nights to "give my mum a rest" ;) and oops! baby brain, I ordered all my groceries forgetting I'd be there so will have everything I need ;)
Hi All...started back on the diet last week so I'm gonna try my hardest to contribute to this thread to keep me motivated. I did well with the diet today even though I was working a 12 hour shift! Was tempted by jellie Bellie but i fought the urge to put my mouth under the jellie bellie waterfall! here's what I had:
Morning: nothing! (so used to this now)
Lunch: Broccoli and cauliflower, salad with home made dressing (lemon, olive oil, dijon, pepper), small sweet potato and a mango.
Snack: 100 cal dairy milk chocolate bar
Dinner: Sweet potato with 2 table spoons almont butter
I probably could have cut out the chocolate anf 1 tablespoon of almond butter but it was sooooooo good!
Thanks for reading.
Mandicane - while the food sounds yummy, I'm worried you're not getting enough calories. Are you keeping track? Don't make the mistake of starting out too low and losing your weight too quickly! That's what happened to swish and to me.
Thanks Mochagirl (congrats on your BFP btw!!) i just feel I have a lot to lose thats why i want to lose about 10-15 lbs before we start trying again. I've gained about that in the past two months and I feel so bad about it! I have this feeling that if I try with this weight on I will ruin my chances of having a girl. I will try to eat a bit more considering I am also working out 6-7 days a week.
do you feel we can trust our bodies to make us eat enough? I mean... if we feel satisfied how can we eat more? or that's what it feels like to me
