Yay!! So glad you are finally having your surge :D
I'm CD15 here, not much to report lol, still negatives, but I feel things happening so maybe in a couple of days. We'll see.
@Erin, I would keep testing and continue your BD pattern just in case.
Robin, good luck that's very exciting!!!
Ladies, I *know* I shouldn't be stressing, but I got ANOTHER morning of the "low" reading on the digi. I'm CD17 today. Last few cycles I already O'd on CD17, but typically I O between CD17-25. I know the stress isn't good and delaying O further, but I can't help it. :roll eyes:
I called my ob this morning and left a message for the nurse. I've never been in before to get any tests or ultrasounds to check O. Is that something that I should be doing? If I don't O this cycle, should I be asking for clomid or such? I was lucky enough to have DD1&2 without really trying, so this is all new to me and therefore causing me a lot of anxiety, especially since I'm 35 and also worrying about the age gaps between the kids getting too large. Please, any thoughts or advice??
Welcome back momamia! I have been wondering how you have been. Very hopefully for you and a BFP in March!!!

Maximbella, it wouldn't hurt to discuss things with your doctor. Stressing really does delay it though. It might be a good idea to dtd every other day to help reduce your stress. That way even if you ovulate, you're still having attempts.
Thanks girliecat! :)

Maximbella, sorry. Yes, every 4 days would be great! :)

It's definitely something you can discuss with your dr. My Dr said that he won't refer me to a fertility clinic until it's been at least 6 active months of trying. Then I had to wait to even get into the clinic from there. They are the ONLY ones that give clomid and it's after a diagnostic cycle to confirm that you're not ovulating (at least that's what I've been told) Clomid requires being monitored from a clinic.
Is there any way your tests are defective? Have you tried another bavk up kind just in case?
Maybe you're just late in ovulation this month..

Maxim do you have a period every single month or have you been known to skip a month or two? If your periods are regular and you don't skip it's not likely you have annovulatory cycles however depending on stress you may O at different points each cycle!
Doesn't hurt to talk to a doctor but depending where you live they won't do clomid without a hormone panel first and some other hoops to jump through which I think would stress you out further so be sure you aren't just delaying your own O.
Robin is correct in the states it's at least 6 months of active trying. In my case I was already under the care of an RE because he unclipped my tubal ligation. He did a hormone panel off the bat and said I was healthy normal and good to go so 6 months later when I came in complaining that's when he prescribed Clomid. Try and remember I was CD 18 before ovulating with DD3, I was like 40 days into a cycle thanks to an anovulatory month with DD4... Robin is also 18 DPO and just now ovulating, and what should give you some hope is she is swaying pink.. and while I wasn't swaying pink mine still ended up pink. The longer it takes to O it seems better shot at pink.
Thanks, ladies! So I made an appointment with ob next Thursday, 2/9. She said they do bloodwork to see what's happening in cycle. Not sure what that will do, but I guess it's a good start.
Burakoam, I do have periods every cycle, but I have had anovulatory cycles before (once when I got off bcp when ttc DD1, another when I was breastfeeding DD1 and was rx progesterone (which is how I ended up pregnant with DD2 without trying!), and then I believe when I got off bcp this last cycle about 3 months ago, although I wasn't temping then so no way to know exactly. Can you see my charts to FF below?
After reading your messages I tried testing with my old digi and it also gave me a "low" reading. Augh... :worry:
Cheapie opk's for reference...
https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9ac917dde7.jpg
Doesn't today's look darker than the rest? Why am I still getting no increase on the digi?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To me it looks fresh but not darker. Its not dark enough to be a positive and the digi will not go positive until you are about to pop the egg out. I know your frustration. it was a really really long 7 months waiting on my BFP with my DD3. It was torture, agony, and i cried every cycle when i either bled or took a test early and it was negative. I was getting low and high and peak reading for 6 months and 'nailing' what i thought were my ovulation days and still nothing. i want you to know i know i come off as a hard ass on you but i do sympathize and i wish i could give you the biggest hug because I HAVE BEEN THERE...It is crazy that for 6 months those OPK's worked like they were 'supposed to' but according to my doc i was not ovulating and then the month when clomid actually made me ovulate i only got low and peak readings and AGAIN with this baby when actually conceived only low and peak.. I cant explain it, i dont know if anyone knows why it happens but there are women on here who experience both sides of the coin. Some get pregnant with low high and peak, some get pregnant with low and peak, some cant get pregnant with low high and peak and some cant get pregnant with low and peak...some women have dark dark opk lines that SHOULD be a nice big egg but dont wind up pregnant and some get barely there lines, ovulate not realizing their surge has happened, and get pregnant with no idea when it could have happened. I was 'bleeding' every 28 days for 6 months trying for DD3 and that regular should have been a period..but i realize now that my periods then were extremely light, barely there and only lasted 2-3 days...apparently for me that should have been a sign something was amiss but they always push into you that a clockwork cycle means you are very fertile..it wasnt the case for me.
If you have at any point known to ovulate CD 20-23 as you have told me and just mentioned again on here i think as well then you are not out yet this cycle. I know its hard especially in a thread with other women getting their surges etc...You can do this maxim. You have an end goal in mind..you want another healthy bouncy pink bundle..and im certain it will happen for you sooner rather than later. Your age is not as bad as you think and i know you dont want big gaps between all the girls but ultimately this baby is for you so if a bigger gap happens that just means your littlest will have more time with you while the other two are busy with eachother. I promise this will all work out. If you DONT ovulate this month, i hope the OB figures things out fast for you. If you make it to that appointment without ovulating i would for sure have her run a hormone panel and maybe if she will at that point do an ultrasound to see if you have any good follies or even if she can see a Corpus Luteum meaning you ovulated and just didnt know.
-biggest hugs-
Barukaom, thank you for all of your continued input, seriously! :kissy:
I got prescribed clomid for next cycle and progesterone this cycle just in case.
They want to do clomid and iui right away to really increase odds. I am hoping to try a cycle with just the clomid and then go for the IUI as I heard that sways blue big time!

I believe in the CD 18 babies Robin! My DD3 is one of them :) my fingers are crossed this is your BFP cycle
You are not alone Robin and Maxim! <3 CD15 here and no signs of anything, besides my cervix being lost and my sex drive revving up LOL. I am so in the late O club again this month :D
*sigh* my lines are all the same. I had an initial darkening on CD 11 and they haven't changed since. I'm testing 3 times per day so that I don't miss my surge but I have a feeling I'll miss it anyway so I'm keeping an eye on CM and anything else I can. BD scheduled for tonight. DH is getting impatient and wants his back to back turns :giggle:
What is the earliest you would take a home pregnancy test with the cheap Wandfo tests? Anyone?
Sometimes Wantanother it is the month you feel nothing that you end up being surprised :)..if you are sure of your ovulation dates 12 DPO should be fine to start testing. If there is any chance you conceived give or take a day dont expect a positive right off the bat and be pleasantly surprised if you get one :)
however if you have the money to spare 10 DPO is a fine starting point. It doesnt happen often but some ladies do get positives that early, some earlier...i know those are the exceptions...i was 10-11 DPO with DD3 and 8 DPO with DD4 by her first ultrasound..DD4 implanted right out the gate is the only thing that makes sense. and some babies do :)
I got a positive on 10dpo in the evening and a clear positive on 11dpo with FMU with this BFP on both Wondfo ICs and FRERs

I agree with Burakoam. I had NO symptoms. Maaaybe increased thirst, if I am hard pressed to come up with something.

My Ovulation Chart
wantanother, I had literally ZERO symptoms with both pregnancies with DD's. These last few cycles when I *thought* I was pregnant, I had every symptom imaginable, but ended up not pregnant. So maybe no symptoms are a good thing?! :)
Well thanks guys! It's not quite even 10 days PO so I know it's too early to be down about the negative test this morning. However, by this time with my previous pregnancy I felt symptoms. But I'll hold out another few days to retest!

However, the only symptom has been light nausea the last few days. But still think it must be in my head. [emoji57]

We all understand wantanother, i think everyone has felt that sting of disappointment even though logic says you could still be pregnant its just too soon. We all want instant gratification..maybe some day they will invent something that tells you exactly when conception has occured LOL
Sounds like most of you ladies are going to O any day now. GL with your attempts.
AFM - I am 3dpo and officially in the 2ww! Praying for at least a normal LP this cycle!
Seriously! You all are going to be on the exact same 2 week wait or at least very close! Can't wait for our results! [emoji170]

Good morning ladies! Hallelujah, finally a flashing smiley and a "high" reading. It's not a "peak", but it's progress and I'll take it! [emoji3] Can you please look at my chart and tell me what you would do for BD timing? Again, swaying hard for a girl. My DH is out of town tomorrow night, so that's out. Also, I marked "I" on FF several days ago because we dtd but DH pulled out. [emoji849] I think we still got a few swimmers in there, but wanted to mark it differently so that I would remember. Appreciate any thoughts!

And I can't believe we are all going to be so close in our 2ww!!
Shan, good luck! Fingers crossed for you!!

Ok, I have some sort of update today. Tests showed negative last night, but DH and I BD'd as scheduled anyway. I woke up this morning to a huge dip:
http://i64.tinypic.com/34g7i9x.jpg
I thought for sure my temps would be high because I was under a huge duvet and a blanket and I was hot, so it was surprising to see a dip. My temps usually drop when I sleep uncovered, but not this much, so even if I was "cold" it is still a big dip.
I took another test right away and still negative, but I found stretchy fluid and of course my cervix is super high as it's been all week. This could have been left overs from last night (yeah gross), but it was clear and stretchy (is pre-seed stretchy?) so who knows. I had a hunch to just go BD and so I attacked DH at 5AM LOL. I'm tempted to go for it again tonight due to the big dip.
Like I said, I have a feeling I won't be catching my surge. Things have been very mild this month AND I felt both of my ovaries for the first time in forever (or ever, can't even remember). I can't believe my left ovary is awake.
That's my update. I have no idea what's up.
@Maxim, I see a nice little dip there, but I can't say much. We both have to wait and see what tomorrow brings it looks like lol.
@Robin, did you have a dip on the day of your LH surge? Were you temping?
That chart looks great cosmosis!
Maxim I can't see yours?
As for me.. lately I don't get a huge dip. My temps are all over the place. I expect to see a rise tomorrow and fertility friend to catch ovulation as today maybe? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9bb4eed9e5.jpg

Hmm Robin I imagine today or tomorrow.. With this one I ovulated close to the 72 HR mark after a positive OPk.
I am thinking cd 21-22 for cosmo and maxim to get a solid smiley and up to cd 25 for ovulation
