I'm back into RE apt this morning. I have two eggs sized 16 and 12 (almost mature). Not certain that the second egg will catch up but I'm on day 13 today and have my high reading on CBD advanced. I'll put money on ovulation tomorrow or the next. Hoping today the egg has grown and I can get trigger.. but they will prob want them to be a bit bigger before they will give it. Last month ovulation happened when egg was sized 19.
We've made the decision that we will try again next month if this month is not successful. If I don't take progesterone this cycle (dr said i don't need it) I'd have a dec 14th (ish) baby according to due date calculator. We are ok with that.
As for iui and up... we are thinking late spring early summer. I just pray this is my month bc I can't handle another chemical. 😐

Gonal-f is an injectable med. It is fsh (follicle stimulating hormone) which is what your brain produces to grow follicles in your ovaries. It is used to make better quality, bigger and more more eggs than normal. The advantage is it doesn't have the side effects that clomid has, since it's the same hormone your brain makes. The downside is that it is expensive.

Okay so here's the 10DPO test. Now I definitely see a shadow, and this was at exactly five minutes. I'm nowhere near calling this a positive, but I'm interested to see what happens.

I just went to Walgreens before work and there are no more of the CB weeks estimator tests! They had them a few weeks ago...knew I should have bought them, but I didn't want to jinx it since I wasn't sure if hubby would be onboard for trying this cycle.
I am totally itching to test today...I won't, but sheesh the struggle is real!!
I did just do a chinese gender chart and it says girl for this month, but my moon phase says boy. I know both are just for fun, but thought I would share! ;)
My moon phase and sign were boy and my chinese calender was boy too. That crap has never worked for me..apparently my body naturally 'sways' pink so hard that it defies things that normally predict pretty well for others....
I dont think they are coming back guys. they also sent me a private message saying they are no longer available..they made no comment about if or when they would be back so it looks more final than a simple discontinue :(

So I got the trigger shot but unfortunately I only have one egg that's developed now. Clomid didn't really do much of a difference for me this round.
Momma thanks for letting me know ... I'm sure I'll move onto injectables if clomid doesn't work within the next few cycles. Are you doing iui or timed ?

Guys, I posted a link to their website a few posts back. They pulled them because they need to change the label to reflect weeks past ovulation, instead of implying weeks of pregnancy. It's related to a Swedish lawsuit from 2014 that just got finalized. Once they fix the label, they will be back on the market.

Sorry Robin! I didn't respond to clomid very well either. I think I had 2 eggs the cycle I did 150, otherwise I only had 1. So, I didn't see the advantage of continuing the clomid. Luckily, you only need 1 egg though, so FX it's your golden egg, Robin!! I'm doing iui. It's the only infertility treatment that my insurance actually covers, so I'm taking full advantage of it. It covers about 4 iui's per year. I'm really hoping that it only takes 1 though. :bigsmile:Quote:

Thanks Robin!! I'm just hoping it actually works. I just got off the phone with my RE's office and I am feeling even more confident than I was before. They're going to do 2 trigger shots about a week apart to boost my progesterone and give me progesterone supplements. They also offered to do back to back iui's if I wanted. I think I'll do that next time if it doesn't work this time. They also said they're going to do their best to get a mature follicle on my left ovary, as I'm pretty sure that's the only tube that's open. Yay!!!!! I love this office and my RE! 😁😁😁😁😁😁

Afm, I'm still waiting for a positive OPK on CD18, after thirteen consecutive days of dark-but-still-negative tests. Sigh. I have also basically given up the diet for the past five days because my mom was in town and we served a delicious, succulent lamb roast while she was here. Feeling so discouraged.
P.S., Cosmo is everything OK with you? I saw you mentioned spotting a few days back. I hope it stopped on its own and your little February bean is doing well.
Erin, I'm sure +opk is right around the corner for you! I get multiple days of nearly positives every cycle. It's really frustrating. I know exactly how you feel!! Fx you ovulate soon!! :)

AFM - I have not been too hopeful about this month as I am still regulating after getting AF back. I was not planning to test because I have zero symptoms and ws just not thinking it would work. Then yesterday, my temp plumited and I was thinking I was going to have another 7 day LP. But then today my temp spiked and I am so temped to test tomorrow. I will be 8dpo. And I know that is early, but I still want to test. I guess I will see what my temp does tomorrow. I am SOOO happy my tests are at work. It has kept me from testing already. :)

Any signs ladies? I tend to overanalyze. Too early for me, but strong smells are one of my first signs. I still have a cold/congestion (over a week now), so I can't smell anything lol.
No signs or symptoms at all here. I'm starting to lose hope that this might be my month.
never lose hope foxtrot. I never have any symptoms in the 2ww & I have given up trying to spot them. I normally dont get any symptoms until 7 weeks when the nausea& vomiting kicks in.

Don't lose hope foxtrot! It's still early. I never have sore bb or nausea etc that early...only random things like smells and weird, but burping lol. Fun to spot symptoms, but drive me up the wall as well haha!!
