KC I'm so sorry you didn't hear pink.
Lots of hugs kc xx
I'm sorry kc, I'm so glad you heard healthy baby but it's hard to adjust gender hopes.
I had 3 boys, a girl, another boy, before now. I hope they have the exact right personality for your family. My third boy is the most laid back of all our kids. Hugs!!
Re: early or late babies... I usually do 38.5w-39w with the boys, my daughter was born on her due date and the surrogate baby I carried (a girl) was 6 days over her very exact due date - so with this being a girl I bet I go all the way to my due date, or over maybe.
Who is up at 3:00AM eating a sandwich with a jumping bean in their womb? ME! lol I haven't been super watchful about how much I eat in the day and perhaps I'm not eating enough during the day as I don't have much of an appetite but baby thinks this isn't gonna fly anymore.
kc, sorry you didn't hear pink hun :bighug: and I hopethat the rest of your results puts your mind at ease, at least enough to enjoy your pregnancy.
So sorry KC i completely understand the disappointment and as a mum to an autistic boy myself i completely understand those fears. But congrats on your healthy little boy. I love the closeness of my boys it really is a fun house even if its not full of the pink i once imagined.
Congrats KC on a healthy baby. Hope you feel better soon*
Today is my 19 week ultrasound :) one whole hour of watching my baby on the screen! normally I'd be finding out gender right now. Hoping they don't slip up or use pronouns or something by accident! But if they do that it's a boy so it's okay lol.
Anyways wish me luck. I'll post US pics if I get any ❤️

Big hugs, KC. I'm glad your sweet baby is healthy! I'm hoping this baby is as special to your family as mine. My DS3 is super snugly with me and my DH. He also plays cute games with my older boys. I hope that you find peace soon. Know we are all here for you.

i normally have really early scans, on the last couple ive been just under 14wks and they were very easily recognized as boys.
I have my NT scan today (13w) and genetic counseling. DS2 is home sick with a tummy bug, so I will have to do the appointment alone. I am so not ready for this. I am scared to death that something will be wrong. I am a mess. And even though I usually don't work on Mondays, I had to go in this week because of our trip next week. This is the same place that we went to that we had the scan that we found out we lost our girls last time, so I am scared. Wish me luck ladies. Right now I don't care about gender, I am just praying for healthy.
kc - HUGS - praying that you start to feel better about your new little man and I am so happy that he is healthy for you! I understand the fear of autism all too well. The DS I gave up for adoption and DS1 are both autistic. DS3 is questionable as he is showing signs, so I pray that your little boy is perfect for your family!
I'm sorry your didn't hear girl KC but I'm so glad that the baby is healthy. Just know that we are here for you!!
Shann I hope you have a great appointment and that everything goes well!!! Keep us posted.
Thank you guys for the support! Baby looked good. Still had a hb at 161 and the NT scan looked perfect. Did the blood draw and they had to stick me twice. :/ She lost the vein the first time. Ugh.
I will upload pics when I can. I did not see a nub the whole time. The scan was over a half hour because the baby just would not cooperate and be in the right position. I had to move all over for her to get the few measurements she did. I will try to upload pics to see if anyone will guess in the u/s forum.
I'm glad everything went well Shann!!

This is the only good skull photo I got. I'll post a profile shortly. But it wasn't a centered profile.. baby was turned away slightly and wouldn't cooperate.
They didn't slip up and say anything about gender for me! HOWEVER... she panned down the spine for us and I'm 90% sure I saw a perfectly vertical nub! And I know it wasn't the cord cuz I saw the cord along WITH the nub!
It was also awkward cuz the nurse explained everything she was measuring and why and what everything was and he second she hit the low spine and that nub was sticking straight up, she quickly measured something on the low spine and move away and was silent while she did it lol!
Called DH after and was like "did you see anything by chance" he was like "...I mean maybe.." I was like no really I'm trying to see if we saw the same thing.. he's like "ok yes I did... when she went down the spine and you could see tummy, cord, leg and then I saw something sticking up but I just kind thought it was the other leg.." I was like HA I know second legs and I know nubs.. I'm 99% sure that was a bright white nub!

So happy for everyone's scan today looking great!
I got another one today for reassurance at 17 weeks exactly. Immediately you could tell it was a girl. I'm relieved! But honestly not allowing myself to get super excited! I imagined this moment for so long and it's crazy how calm I am. The tech asked, "are you excited??" Ha, I was thinking, lady you have NO IDEA. I think she actually thought I was sad it was a girl I was so silent!
I think once the baby is here I'll actually let myself believe I'm getting my girl.
I feel guilty for receiving this gift when I know the pain others are experiencing.
And I also feel like as soon as I get excited it will be taken away. I know those thoughts aren't necessarily healthy but it is what it is.
Either way, I'm so grateful for you ladies. I'm excited to follow our pregnancy journeys together and hope we all have happy, healthy babies!

I can feel an occasional tapping feeling at night when I'm lying down and still. The tech told me I should be feeling them any day with my posterior placenta.
And she also said she completely believes in the nub theory but not Ramzi, just thought that was interesting!

Anyone have a low laying placenta? I did discover that yesterday. About half a cm away from my cervix. So we are waiting to hear back from the radiologist
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've heard a lot of medical professionals say they believe nub theory but not ramzi. Ramzi is basically conjecture, but nub theory is based on the actual process of the development of external genitalia. Of course, I was silly and opted out of the NT this time so I don't get a nub shot. :( less than three weeks until my gender ultrasound!
Nann3r, I had a low lying placenta with DS1 but it moved up when they rescanned to check on it.

Good morning :) lovely scan photos everyone! <3 looking forward to mine... I think lol. I've been feeling my little one since 8/9 weeks. I know for sure it was the baby all along and not gas lol because the flutters are the same now, just much much stronger than before and when I saw him/her via ultrasound jumping away, I was like YEP, that's what I have been feeling.
I guess it really just depends where the bean implants. With DD I felt nothing until I was about 20 weeks along so I'm pleasantly surprised. I really needed it this way this time around though. Things have been so crazy an tough in my family and sometimes I wonder why I even chose to get pregnant in midst of this chaos and then I feel a big flutter and it is very comforting. Sometimes it is the only thing that helps me refocus on moving forward. There is definitely a bond there. One I didn't get with DD, so regardless, this little one is something special.
I've been feeling movement since 15 weeks ... maybe it's all the coffee I'm drinking!!!
Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
I was hoping to feel obvious movement earlier this time (although I remember flutters around 15-16 weeks), but I think I have an anterior placenta again, although I haven't had an ultrasound recently. Third time in a row, if I'm right.
