I've been pushing them. I've turned on the Mama Bear Mode. When I saw them yesterday, I had scholarly articles printed out and highlighted. They listened to me and ordered a repeat of the blood work and then the ultrasound (to rule out gallstones). I'll hear back next week and hopefully be referred to a MFM dr.
Thank you all for the support. Moms rock!
Ok, so after this baby is born I plan to try out baby wearing this time. I want to use a sling, that is good to use hands free, breast feeding, and while the baby gets older. I am smaller when not pregnant, just over 5 ft. I am usually around 120 pounds. Got any ideas?
Zem - I had a maya wrap that I really liked. It's great for when they are bitty. When DS got a little bigger I moved up to an infantino carrier that I got on sale with a coupon - great buy and my DS still fits in it at around 23lbs if I need to use it. I just don't like strollers when they're that little.
zem- I got one of these months ago when they had a code to get it for free and all I had to pay was the shipping... Seven.... I wonder if you join their mailing list if they might offer a free code again. I've gotten a code a couple times since getting my sling.
For my second son I used a mei tai that someone made and I LOVED using it.
I ordered a free one of those Seven slings the other day, I haven't got it yet so I can't say how good it is. Try the code WTE
I got one of those seven slings too and was a bit disappointed with it. I like the maya wrap much better because of the long tail (good for breastfeeding) and the ability to adjust baby in more ways with a seven sling.
I'm almost 27 weeks and last time they checked baby was still right side up. Has anyone's baby turned head down yet? DS was head down for a long time in the pregnancy so I'm getting a little worried with this one. I know it's silly but I really want to have another easy home birth so I hope my baby flips soon.
My babies are usually head down by 29 weeks. Last check up she was still head up, I am not worried about it yet though. I did tell my dr though that I will deliver a breach baby. I have had 4 babies vaginally, so I know I would be able to deliver a breach one.
Mine was head down last time, I think she still is. Hopefully she stays that way.
