Spicy, that is the hard thing about timing....if you are unpredictable (like I am), sometimes you just gotta give it your best guess as to when you might be at 0-2....what I have done before, and plan to do in the future, is when my opk is just darn near + but not a true positive (I get several days of fade-ins), then we dtd, with the hopes that late the next day, it is truly +, meaning then we dtd the following day, which would likely be O day.
Sometimes it is really hard to predict, which is why the SMEP/Deanna's plan works very well. It may not necessarily be optimum boy sway timing, but I don't think the timing matters as much as the way your body is when you have sperm meet egg. But, that is up to everyone's individual belief about it.....many gals on our old thread (who now have baby boys, mind you), just dtd once on O day, and some dtd two days in a row right around O (like day before and day of, or day of O and day after even), and some dtd every day for like 3 days. In fact, just to make you feel better....and I know I've written this before, so sorry if I'm repeating....but a few of us got obsessed with getting the timing down, particularly the unpredictable O girls. We checked out FF charts with "pregnant with boy" in the keywords, and it appeared that there was ALL sorts of dtd sequences, but one thing they all had in common was dtd on O day for sure. Most of them, in fact, dtd two days in a row, O-1 and O day. I think it is best to try to have a 48 hour gap, so I would *try* to do that if you can, but the SMEP plan gets people pregnant, that is for sure, so not a bad timing sequence to follow.

Of course, I am a bit more laid back about the timing....I just want to get pregnant, and since I'm 35, don't want to mess around with it too much. I have faith that if I do the diet and supps solidly for 6 weeks and get pg, that I have a better chance at a son than a daughter....but also I don't care if I get another girl at this point, because it ain't as easy for me as it used to be!
