I had a dream with my ds3 that I have birth to triplets, 2 girls and a boy. They were kittens so I knew it wasn't possible but oh boy did I hope for that 2 out of 3 chance for a girl. :)

Kittens! LOL Good thing that part of the dream wasn't true. ;) I had a dream with DS2 that we were told girl at an elective scan and with DS1 every baby dream I had, he was gender neutral. haha I think I just keep dreaming about having a girl because that's what I want to have.
With my 2nd I had a dream that he was a boy and he was. It the only time I didn't find out the sex and the only time I had a gender dream until now. I have already had 2 dreams that this one is a girl but I just can't believe it I don't want to get my hopes up. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for a boy!
A friend had noticed I'm trying to do this and not get disappointed with a boy. She said before I was pregnant all I talked about was ha in a girl and now I am I'm talking as if it could be a boy too.

I literally text my friend about the baby and always ever to it as "he". She says, "she". But I still say he.
I dream about rats when I'm pregnant. It's weird.

Someone please put my mind at ease. I got my urine culture back with positive GBS results. Elevated levels over 100,000. I know they test for this at 36+wks but I was unaware they tested urine early and I've never tested positive before. Will the baby be OK? Will I need antibiotics at birth now? Google isn't nice. Please tell me it'll be OK.

I'm sorry k, I don't know much about gbs but did just read that it can come and go so testing positive early in pregnancy doesn't mean you'll have it later in pregnancy and vice versa - you could test negative now but positive later. From my understanding (which is not 100%) the test at 36+ weeks determines whether you'll be given antibiotics. My only suggestion is don't read up on this via google, discuss it only with your medical practioner as you could cause yourself some terrible (unwarranted) stress. How soon until you meet with doc/ob to discuss results?

My understanding too is the strep B comes and goes, sometimes we might be positive other times not. It only matters when baby is being born which is why they test close to when baby comes because then they know if you need the antibiotics for baby's sake. It cycles every month or so, so I wouldn't worry about a positive test now. But for sure, double check with your gp.

Ah that is what it is. It do e differently here I never had a urine test for it but tested positive for it 2 times for it. 1st time maybe about on the 20+ plus stage and it was via swab in the v j j 2nd time a few weeks later. So doc said it looks like it has not cleared up on its own so he gave me antibiotic there and then for it. But my consultant wanted me to have some while I was I labour so they gave me some more.
that's all I know about it sorry

Thanks. It looks like that elevated level signals a bladder infection. But google was mean and said it could harm the baby in pregnancy. Terrible things like, miscarriage, stillbirth, preterm labor, deaf, blind, cerebral palsy. It just went on and on. I started crying.
