Get well soon, Maci!
Ah get well soon maci. I have been lucky in that two of my babies had jaundice bad but never bad enough for the light treatment.
BIG bump moment, 34 weeks, feeling enormous :) Countdown has really started now.

Thank you ladies!!! We stayed two nights and we're now home!! The dr who released us said there is a good chance Maci will have to be admitted again.. She has to go get tested again today to check her levels and if they get too high, she has to go back. The dr said she has three risk factors working against her, 1. She is only a few days old and the jaundice might not have peaked yet 2. She was born premature and 3. Her and I have different blood types. She's eating, but bot doing great. She slept all night and only got up once at 3am to eat and I just had to wake her up at 8:30am to feed her and she hardly ate. Hopefully she starts to eat more!!
Aidansmum - your bump is so cute!!!! I miss mine already!! (Even tho I still have a bump, it's not the same haha!)
menlc I am sure they told you or you prob already know this but just in case, put her in the sun. Whether it be a sunny window or a walk. The sun will help break down the bilirubin also. Glad she is home & fingers crossed her numbers will continue to go down.
I am feeling enormous too!
Ladies, I know this is TMI but has anyone lost any of their mucous plug early? I had a little bit coming out this morning, not much, like a fingertip and no blood. I am a bit over 34 weeks. I don't know if I should call the Doctor. Other than the BH I am not feeling any cramping or anything different. I never noticed losing the plug before so I'm unsure as to if it's a normal thing to start losing it this early?
I started losing mine like that at about 34 weeks with DS6 but I think I read that it's ok and it can replenish itself. I ended up having him on his due date so it didn't make him come any earlier.
I have never noticed losing mine so I can't help much. I might just call & ask the Dr or nurse just for peace of mind.
