Hey 3P1B, how is Charlie 6 months old already? That's crazy! I bet you will be fine once everyone goes off to school--it will be nice to have a little bit of alone time with your baby boy!!
I am 33 weeks and staying team green until the end. I have a feeling this baby is a girl, though. But being team green will help me with the GD if the baby turns out to be a girl like I think it is.
woo hoo ttc5, maybe you will deliver soon. i lost mine at 25 weeks but thank goodness michael stayed put. he's 2 months old now and sleeping through the night already, i am one lucky mama! but to all you ladies who have boys... thanks for the warning. i wasn't aware i had to make sure he was pointed down at all times. sometimes i forget and i wonder how its even possible to pee out of a dry diaper like that. he soaked everywhere but the diaper...guess im still learning.
Hobber - I totally see the benefits of green team. Out of fear of GD I wanted to stay green with Charlie but dh insisted we find out. After my mc I was really detached and he was hoping it would help me bond with the pregnancy more. Ironically it didn't, it actually made me more afraid of losing HIM not just IT.
Girlmom - ah yes, keep him pointed down. I actually had to change the shape of my cloth diaper inserts due to that pesky little penis lol
3P1B- Charlie is getting so big!! I love the new picture of him :)
I have never changed a boy diaper before so I am sure I will be in for a treat
LOL it is a fun experience! DS2 got me all the time when he was an infant...I'd try to change his diaper too quick and the rush of air would make him pee...I felt like a newbie mom all over again!! I think it's going to be very strange changing a diaper soon with NOTHING between the legs haha....I can hardly imagine!
3P1B, can't believe Charlie is so big!! Also, loving the new pic!!

We chose not to circumcize so I don't get peed on too much since I have a early warning system of sorts. If he's peed recently there tends to be a drop in the tip so I know if I need to hurry or not lol
Auroara- I will say those first tar poops are much easier to scrape off girls but after that there are so many more places for poo to hide lol Also when girls pee while being changed it just runs straight down so remember always keep something under her toosh and wipe front to back and you'll be good to go ;)
I think girls are harder to keep clean with all their million creases and I worry about cleaning around those sensitive little girl parts. The boys manhandle (lmao) their stuff and tug at it and everything so I never worry about giving a good wipe ;p
I wipe baby girls down then gently dab a clean wipe section in her labia folds to clean out anything that has squished in there.
My babies smell like a pizza the first few days, hah, because I squirt on a little olive oil with each change. Makes the meconium MUCH easier to wipe off. Maybe I'll try coconut oil this time so Riceball will smell like a coconut :p
3PNB I can't believe how adorably big your little man is getting! 6 months already??!!
Scan on September 11th gals! Still really wanting to stay Team Green but it's more nervewracking now that we're getting close.
My dr's office said it's scheduled for the main hospital too, and our other scans have all been at the outpatient radiology across town from the hospital. So I probably won't have the same tech I had with my last two and that makes me nervous. She was so wonderful and knew how to hide gender until you were ready.
Good thing I guess is maybe the main hospital will have a nicer machine and I can get a DVD. Or maybe I don't want one to try and get gender clues from!!!!
Maybe if they have a nicer machine you will be able to get a 3D/4D oneQuote:

Yay for the u/s! We were green team with dd1 and we were lucky enough to get no gender clues. She was sitting on her crossed feet, they had a hell of a time measuring her legs let alone seeing goods lol
Tink - 16 lbs?! He is a big boy, Charlie's kinda slim at only 15 lbs. I'm glad he's such a good baby and Ava is so in love. Sounds like a good time over there :)
ttc5 - 31ish days till you meet your little man!!! I'm so excited for you!!
Skrimpy, thats brilliant about having your scan soon! I just loooove having the scans they are so special aren't they :) And a quick comment on the oil subject but I use coconut oil on my face for my ever increasing wrinkles lol, it smells lovely doesn't it:bigsmile:
Tink, he is a great size! Little Dave was just 13lb 6 on his weigh in 2 weeks ago, he's a real runt:bigsmile: He has to be weighed every 2 weeks,which is today!, I've had him on food for the past 2 weeks so hopefully he has done a little better with something more solid in his belly:agree:

Hobber Davey did really well!!! 14lb 3 so nearly a lb in 2 weeks which is more than he did in the previous 6 weeks if not more:)
How are you feeling Hobber!! Very soon your gonna know who's in your belly, I cant wait lol, what plans do you have in place for labor?? 5 you aswell whats the plans???!!!

I have no plans for the birth. I usually just go to the hospital and get an epidural. My only hope is that I can have someone here with my other kids when I go to the hospital with DH. I am sort of dreading the actual birth, because I am really afraid of the GD that will set in once the baby comes out a girl. :( I know there is a chance it could be a boy, but I really don't believe it could be, so I am trying to prepare myself.
Hobber, have you posted nub pics, I can't remember:oops: could you post on this thread for me to have a quick guess on:) I have stayed team green with all of my pregnancies except Davey, I find that when my girlies have come out, I spend a private 5 minutes with them and just whisper 'I was kinda hoping for a boy, but you'll do just fine':) then it just symbolises the next part of the journey with just mother and perfect new child, if it is a lady then just give her a sneaky whisper and I'm sure she will forgive you hoping for a boy and it will help you let go for now of blue and embrace your perfect pink. By the way my 1st were GBBGB, its a very lucky combination :bigsmile:xxxx

Auroara is 100% right. I didn't even get a nub shot or a video of the NT scan. But I thought I saw a girl nub during the scan.
I thought the same thing during my scan hobber, I think depending on the way the baby movies it could look boy or girl. My DS skull pictures look just like DD2. I still think you are having a boyQuote:

Hobbs, how has it been staying team green? I'm going to be 18 weeks tomorrow already, and have my gender scan Thurs. I'm still debating finding out. I really would love to know if it's boy, but would rather wait if it's girl. Also, I wonder if I would constantly keep thinking about gender if I don't find out. I thought I would think of it less, but the past few days, it's all I can think about.
Would any of you please take a look at my pics and let me know what you think? Thanks so much!

Hey Yahmama, it has helped me to not find out gender, but I still think about it constantly, and I assume I am having a girl.... I may be wrong, and if I am, I will be THRILLED in the delivery room. But I am pretty sure, so there is really no point in me finding out. I will just be disappointed. At any rate, I am less disappointed right now than I would be had I found out for sure, and I have been able to mostly enjoy my pregnancy.

No, I stopped swaying after I had 3 early m/c in a row (@ 5 wks each...2 months apart each time). The month I finally got a sticky I started taking the progesterone supps on my own at 6dpo...before I started taking it as soon as I got a bfp, which worked with my first 3 kids, but wasn't working anymore. So, I think that's how I got a sticky this time. So thankful, which is why i feel so bad for still caring about gender. It's mostly because my ds has been begging for a brother since he was 2...I really want it for him and I guess I miss him being a little boy and he's growing up SO fast :(Quote:

Skimpy - never heard about a group. It must have started at the end of my pregnancy or when Charlie was tinier, I've missed a lot lol
