I don't think you need to worry about 12lb Zem, I've put on 10kg I think that's about 22lb lol. I think second trimester is when most weight is put on anyway. Hoping she turns for you without any fuss.

So midwife thinks my bub is probably transverse, so hopefully she turns to. Everything else was fine, measuring a little big but I always seem to for some reason. And blood pressure was a little low, probably explains why I've been a bit dizzy.
Hopefully baby turns for you, wonder if the Webster works on transverse babies, or is it only for breech? If Rozline is still breech by 34 weeks, after I have tried other things, I will be trying that. I know the feeling with low blood pressure, at my apt on Tue. my BP was 88/56. I am almost always dizzy. They told me the best thing to do is eat a bunch a salt. Dr. said all but eat it out of the shaker! lol.
Monkey- usually the Dr. wont do anything to help till you are around 36, 37 weeks. If baby is breech at that point they usually offer to do a version (turn the baby from the outside) doesn't always work, sort of your call if you want to get it done or not. There are other things that you can do to help a breech baby turn though. I am 29 weeks and my baby is breech, but I'm not going to start doing anything till I get to 30 weeks and really I won't be worried if she isn't turned till I hit around 34 weeks. That's when I will start trying the big guns lol. BUT the thing is for me, I already know that if she stays breech I will deliver her like that, wont have a section for a breech. That is my choice though, so I don't think I am as worried about her being in that position as someone who would not consider a V delivery of a breech. If you get further along just make sure you read up a lot on how to help a breech turn.
Thank you zem.
Hi girls! Sorry to hear to hear about breech and transverse positions. Fingers crossed they move to the right spot. I just went in this morning and everything was good. She said baby was head down. This was my first time going every 2 weeks.
I just can't bring myself to get rid of my son's clothes until the 35 week ultrasound to confirm girl again. Plus the nursery... I just can't buy girl bedding either. Am I crazy? ha
I have all these pains along my rib cage and she said it is from everything stretching and expanding. I don't remember this the first time!
It does seem to be going fast at the end here. eeeeek! I said bythe****** goes first, but now I am giving zem a slight edge!
xoxo
Your not crazy. With my first DD I was convinced all 9 ultrasounds were wrong. When she was born my first question was "is it a girl?" Then I burst into hysterical tears.
Mommymachine!! I love your story! I think after the 35 week I will be sure, but it will probably go down like yours where at her birth I will be tearing her legs apart in disbelief! :)
Yes I'm not getting rid of my boy clothes until after she's born, no more scans for me unless they think something is wrong.
Midwife wasn't concerned about her being transverse, she said because it's a third bub there is still plenty of room to move. I'm not even convinced she is, I get a lot of kicks at the top of my bump and I can't feel a head. I think they were having a bit of trouble because she was moving around so much anyway, she kept hitting the doppler too lol.
I still have all of my boy cloths. Only reason I don't have any girl cloths is because my sister had twin girls a little over a year ago and I gave them to her. Since she knew none of us were having anymore kids, she gave them away. So we now have to get all new girl cloths, need to go through and see if I have some gender natural cloths that she can use in the first few months. I hope you are right and she will come early. Hopefully no earlier than 37 weeks, but knowing my luck I will still need to be induced at 39 weeks lol. My only problem is I am so worried about going into labor, with the irritable uterus, its so hard to decide if it is true labor or just the new normal. Last pregnancy I had early labor at 34 weeks, I didn't feel any different, had contractions all the time at that point, but I just had a nagging feeling I should call and get checked out. Don't know why, but glad I did. I was dilated to a 2 by time they confirmed I was in labor. They gave me turb. but that didn't help at all. Other than to make me shaky! Since I was only 34 weeks (at a small hospital) they had to transfer me to a bigger hospital. So I got to fly in a helicopter! lol At the other hospital they got them to stop but I ended up staying for 4 days. Hopefully I don't have anything like that happen again!!
