I haven't been on in about a week. My son has been sick with bronchitis and now some kind of stomach bug. Poor thing. DH and I had our attempt tonight. This time we waited until my opk's test line was darker than the control line, which I believe is a true positive for this brand of test. The last 2 cycles I think our attempt was too soon, so maybe this time I'll have more of a chance. 2ww begins now. [emoji51]

the lab rang through with my results & confirmed my LH surge today. I already thought that was the case based on symptoms from previous months & a positive OPk but good to know I was right, even though my doctor thought I was missing it & the opk were inaccurate. Trust your body ladies! you know it well! Now to get the kids to bed so we can BD tonight :fx:

Kat l hope your son is better. l've never had an opk with a line darker than control, you can see them here. It sounds great that you know how your opk brand well and how your tests look on it, lots of luck this month to both of you!

My opk never goes darker than the control line (my tests are sensitive for LH above 10).According to the lab my LH was 26 so maybe my strips just dont go as dark. Who knows! Mind you the urine wasnt that strong either. (sorry for tmi) either way it was definitely positive today & the lab confirmed that

Afm, I've been incredibly nauseous the last 3 days to the point that I've actually vomited. I'm not sure if it's a stomach bug or what but it's definitely annoying.
