Thing is, I pump him full of all of the supps they give to low count and motility patients anyway, and if there is something wrong, we can't afford to do IVF anyway, so it's natural or nothing for us. I guess we could do IUI, but clearly his swimmers can swim, they've done it before. The one thing my doc said is that *sometimes* when the man has a "balanced translocation" where his chromosomes have an extra arm, although it doesn't affect him, it makes it hard to near impossible for his chomosomes to mix and make a good baby. She said he's need to do a DNA karotype ($800 out of pocket) to find out, and if that's the case anyway, we'd have to do IVF with PGD anyway. If that is the case, then we are shit out of luck. But on YOUR DH, I wouldn't worry too much, if he is taking a bunch of supps and eating well, that's good! I kwym about the extracurricular. I guess if he won't quit, you just can't worry about it too much and hopefully the supps are helping cancel that out!
