Thanks guys, and yeah, I had some REALLY shitty things said to me when I was pregnant with DD about my size I wish I had been braver to say things about -- and would have people even in the same day say I'm "too small to be __ weeks." And truly, in hindsight, I was pretty small with her -- my fundal measurement always lagged a few weeks behind even! Not this time, not after the shit I've been through lol. Even my "not really!" made the cashier kind of get quiet.
I had a cashier look at me and say 'Having a boy, huh?' and all I could do was blink at her. Im plus sized and just starting to look more pregnant than an extra fat belly. I looked down, then back up and she smiled and said she could tell by how high the bump was. I eventually nodded and said yes it is. I had always thought the OWT was high was girly. Im kind of thankful that she didnt say that. Im still having a bit of a tough time of it, even though a bunch of his clothing and items Ive ordered are showing up, and are awfully cute. I still look at them and ache for the headbands the pinks & purples and more feminine things. GD is a real... well, you know.
Awwwwww, I’m sorry ladies. I feel like I’ve been huge since conception but let’s be honest here it’s all DH’s fault. He feeds me constantly (and himself, which is why he plans on taking his own baby bump pics too :rofl:) my weight loss plan is breastfeeding which doesn’t come across as a plan so much as wishful thinking but I’m trying to be optimistic here. Is everyone else ready? Like, I feel like I have so much to do and time is dwindling, especially with the holidays.... I’m basically starting from scratch and the only thing I’ve bought so far is clothing :nails:
I'm starting from scratch too. I had forgotten how much babies need! I made a list and have pretty much everything on it except some small things like pacifiers and the nasal aspirator and a stroller because I havent decided which way to go with that yet.
I think this little guy is confused. First trimester I felt totally fine most of the time. Lately, Ive had a constant feeling of nausea, fuzzy/dizzy feeling behind my eyes, headache lurking, and I just dont want to eat even if I feel hungry. Not to mention all I want to do is sleep all day :sleeping:
I'll be 21 weeks on Monday and he is thumping me like crazy. Hes getting in some good ones too, I fear when he gets bigger! DS2 bruised my inside around my rib and I think Oops is following suit. He also seems to like my bladder area because I feel like I need to pee 24/7.
I am so sorry Surrounded, that I DEFINITELY relate to. i also had multiple complete strangers open conversations with, "So having a boy huh?" when I was pregnant with DD -- and it made my already bad GD even worse. When I asked why they thought that, I got a lot of "because you're all out front and just baby." I always let them know I was having a girl so they hopefully won't make some other poor woman's silent GD worse with their assumptions!Quote:

I need to get on the bump pictures... it literally came on out of nowhere. I actually took a comparison pic at 17 weeks with Oops and DS2. I was a WHALE with him. Maybe I'll take another one tomorrow since Ill be 21 weeks. DH said I should have acted like I wasnt even pregnant when the cashier said something, fluster her a bit.

I forgot to post this when I had my anatomy scan... this little stinker, SO stubborn. Hands in front of face, legs smushed together, in the corner by my hip and would not come out so she could get a particular shot of his heart. He is going to be trouble. From the half second of 3D I saw before his hands went up again, he looks JUST like my DS1 did. I have another scan at 30-32 weeks and Im hoping to get a 3D picture.

You look great surrounded! Oops is beautiful even if he is super cheeky already!! My bump is by far the biggest one I’ve had. I did weigh more when getting pregnant this time though, so more padding to begin with I guess!! This is my 16wk bump.

Surrounded, I can't believe you're on your third baby in that pic! You seriously don't even look pregnant. I feel like I'm just monstrous this time around -- mumma, like you I definitely weighed more before this pregnancy! With DD at 25 weeks I was JUST popping. Now I have people thinking I'm almost due at the same time?! lol
And Surrounded, this baby was in the exact same position and did the same thing as yours at anatomy scan -- we had to come in for a whole second scan and almost needed a third because so stubborn. Definitely gets that from their father... lol
Love that outfit! Reaaaally into owls for this LO too. DD is even being an owl for Halloween!
