No... they won't do things unnecessarily here. They're starting with a blood test first just to check there is no definite pregnancy or issue that are detectable that way, to start.
So I went this afternoon and bought a new digital opk.
Held my pee from 11:30-4:30 (tho I was drinking during that time which apparently one should not). Took the test at 4:30 and got a smiley. What?? I guess I am ovulating tomorrow, cd12. That is sooo unusual for me. So dh is coming home tonight and we will dtd tonight, tomorrow am, tomorrow night 2x and the next day am. So THANK GOD we dtd last night and this morning!! Wahoo for me and listening to my body and gut. All in all we will have gotten in 6-7 attempts in the fertile window. Ya!
I think I will continue to dtd every night after o+1 til I get a definite confirmed by temps and all that o has taken place just in case -- it can't hurt and just incase all these crazy opk's are junk I don't wanna chance missing o.
Hi Laurieann -- welcome!
Sorry Purple sky. Don't give up though, i think you should still give it many attempts and you could be pleasantly surprised!
ooo, and my biorhythms are strong girl for tomorrow, red up high and blue down low.
and the moon sign is capricorn which is female
I don't believe in all that but it can't hurt to hope.
PFP - I will O tomorrow or Saturday too! No O pain this cycle which is weird for me. I am on cd 15 today so we are really close. I am planning to dtd tonight, 2x tomorrow and saturday. I guess i just have to try
You girls that are having lots of attempts are making me jealous!! I really wish I had of done more then one now!! And esp that i dtd a few hrs after o I doubt I have much chance!
P4P and LMN7, after starting to read your posts I was going to say that I don't think either of you have O, but I think you worked that out now anyway. P4P, glad you got your smiley, and all your attempts are going well. You two sound like you have been running around like chooks with your heads chopped off! It is so typical that the cycles play tricks on you when you want everything to go smoothly hey.
Purple sky, men are terrible at keeping things to themselves. It is so fortunate that they don't think it is something more serious like testicular cancer. I can't believe he has kept it to himself for 3 years! My DH wouldn't dare as I have a medical background and tend to grill him about health stuff. It probably got to the stage where he couldn't ignore it any longer. GL with your attempt this month. I don't blame you for being angry at him.
Auroara, so happy to hear you are going well, even if you are on an enforced healthy eating regime! I am CD 9. Hoping to O on the 22nd or 23rd of Feb. FX!
